Preborn has helped save 38,000 babies this year
>> Bobby Roza: I want you to picture this. Her name is Kayla. She's 17, alone, terrified and pregnant, sitting in a clinic, tears blurring, thinking abortion is her only option until she was offered a free ultrasound, paid for by a hero just like you. The moment Kayla heard her baby's heartbeat, the decision was made. And today, her little boy Gabriel is thriving because preborn walked with Kayla every step of the way. Now multiply that by 38,000. That's how many babies preborn has helped save just this year. How many mothers preborn has come alongside with practical and spiritual resources to make, motherhood possible. But here's the most important thing you will hear today. Their goal Is to save 70,000 babies and by the end of the year. And they can't do it without us. Every $28 provides that ultrasound. The moment everything changes, will you be the reason the next Kayla chooses life? The reason Gabriel fulfills his destiny. To donate, dial #250 and say the keyword "baby". That's #250, "baby". Or donate securely at, preborn.com/afr that's preborn.com/afr.

Rick Green unveils new Patriot Academy Rebuilding Liberty course
Welcome to at the Core with Walker Wildmon and Rick Green. I'm Rick Green, America's concentration coach.
>> Rick Green: Thanks for joining me today. All right, hot off the press, I'm bringing to you the new Patriot Academy Rebuilding Liberty course. You've heard me Talking about the 12 steps to recovery for the nation, how we're all going to play a part in this thing, that it all builds up to the 250th birthday of America, 250th birthday of the Declaration of Independence. That, of course, is coming up in just a little over 300 days on July 4, 2026. And between now and then, we've got to educate Americans on why they're waving the flag, why that flag is worthy of being waved, what it is that we're actually celebrating so that we know what we're preserving for future generations.
>> Rick Green: So we've created a new course.
>> Rick Green: It's a four week course called Rebuilding Liberty. And it accompanies my book, A Blueprint for Rebuilding Liberty. Just in time for America's 250th. So what I'm gonna bring to you today is the very first week of that course. It's a four week course that's a little less than an hour each week anywhere. Ah, from 45 minutes to an hour each week. And then the most important thing is that you sit around with friends and family and talk about it. So in other words, you don't do the class by yourself. You host the class in your home or your church and get people together, watch the video, and then talk about how to take the action steps. Every week we'll be talking action steps. So let's jump in.
Rebuilding Liberty is about educating the nation ahead of its 250th birthday
I'm gonna share with you that first week of Rebuilding Liberty.
>> Rick Green: The purpose of this course is to make sure that they know why that flag is worthy of being waved wherever you are watching from. We're not rebuilding a structure without giving the right foundation. And our burden should be to transform a moment into a movement. The entire globe is moving towards the right. Recommend this edition of the Bible to the inhabitants of the United States. I thought our founding fathers were bunch of atheists, Gnostics and deists who wanted a secular public square. Who didn't want the Bible in schools.
>> Rick Green: Fight like it's your last breath, but know this. The truth is over the facts that God's not giving you a spirit of fear, but a power loving and sound mind.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: What do I want my legacy to be on the way out? That I was safe or that I was dangerous?
>> Rick Green: Amen. No, this nation is not perfect.
>> Rick Green: I'll, take America for any other country or nation on the face of this planet. How about you?
>> Rick Green: Welcome to rebuilding Liberty. 431 days from the time we're filming this class, America is going to be celebrating our 250th birthday. 250 years. Now most Americans are going to be waving the flag. Some of them for the first time in years, some of them for the first time in their lives. The purpose of this course is to make sure that they know why that flag is worthy of being waved. We don't want to just celebrate on July 4, 2026. We want to know what we're celebr. We want to know what it is that we're fighting for. We want to know what it is that we're passing to our children and our grandchildren. And we've gotten pretty close to losing what Ronald Reagan called informed patriotism. See, it's not enough to just have a renewed patriotism and wave the flag. We got to have informed patriotism. Understanding who we are and what we're about. And so rebuilding Liberty is about educating the nation, not just waiting for the 250th so that we can have a bunch of hot dogs and celebrations, which we plan to do, but to have a celebration that's based on an understanding of who we are. Ronald Reagan, I said, you know, years ago, warned about this. It was actually 40 years ago. This was, January 11, 1989, almost 40 years ago. He said, if we forget what we did, we won't know who we are. And you think about it, that's kind of what happened to America. We stopped telling the stories of what we did, so we forgot who we are. And so we started falling for socialism and Marxism and all these things that really aren't the American way of life at all. And he saw that coming. We, we forgot to tell the stories, we forgot to do the hard work. And so he warned us. He said, I'm warning of an eradication of the American memory that would lead to an eros of the American spirit. In other words, it would get rid of the patriotism that we used to have. So we lost our memory and then we lost our spirit. And that's what led to the problems that we have. And of course, that's kind of the natural way of things. I mean, that's the cycle of nations. Tough times make tough men, tough men make good times. Good times make soft men. Soft men lead to tough times. And unfortunately, that's usually a 250 year cycle. So here we are, we're about to celebrate the 250th of our nation. And the question is still outstanding. Will we be celebrating or will we be mourning that celebration? I think all things are pointing towards a celebr. I think if we get this class in enough hands and people get educated about what we're celebrating and they act on that, then we will definitely be celebrating. If you look at what Reagan said to prevent this from happening, he said we got to start with some basics. We got to have more emphasis on history. So if we know our American history, that will help prevent this. But then he said something I really like. He said we need to have more civic ritual. If only there was some big date coming up, you know, some. Some major milestone in America's history. If only there was a document that we could celebrate and talk about, you know, maybe like a. I don't know, a document that maybe would just kind lay out the biblical principles of liberty, maybe talk about things like the Creator, maybe talk about truth, perhaps Even talk about life, liberty. It'd be nice if there was just a document that actually talked about when your government gets out of control and starts preventing those things that you get to alter or abolish it. That's part of consent of the governed. That's our job. If only there was a young 33 year old wordsmith that would put together a document like that and maybe get 55 other guys to sign the document pledging their lives, fortunes and sacred honor, then perhaps we would have an opportunity for civic rich wealth. Of course we've got a great opportunity for civic ritual. It's the 250th birthday of the nation. Why don't we get the document out and actually talk about what that 33 year old wrote? Because he actually gave us the formula for liberty. He showed us what we could do not only at that time to birth a nation in freedom, but how to preserve a nation in freedom and how to properly pass the torch of freedom. So we're going to break that down as we talk about rebuilding liberty.
Jefferson says when government becomes destructive of its ends, people can abolish it
He started with these words. He said, when in the course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political which have connected them to another, and to assume among the powers of the earth that separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and nature's God entitles them, a decent respect to the opinion of mankind requires that they declare the causes which impel them to the separation. We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they're endowed by their Creator with certain inevitable rights. And among these are life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. Now, even right there, we've already given the frame of America. Jefferson's already laid out for us why they were impelled to the separation and why they declared to the world it was a decent respect to the opinion of mankind. He talks about the laws of nature and nature's God. He lays out the foundation that we would build this government on. But then he gave us the secret formula for why we get to prevent the fall of our nation and actually rebuild liberty in our nation. He said that when any form of government becomes destructive of these ends. What ends? Truth. The laws of nature and nature's God. The ability to even call upon the Creator or to recognize that our freedom comes from the Creator. Destructive of the ends of elections, of being able to give or refuse consent. Destructive of the, ability to even declare causes, to have the free speech to talk about these things, that when any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it. Now, those might be fighting words to some folks out there, but he was pretty clear. You don't have to alter or abolish, the whole thing. They had to at that time. But we don't have to because they set in place a system where we can alter our government back to the way it was intended to be. We can abolish those parts of our government that are not what our government was intended to be or what we've ever even given our consent for. Or even if we did give our consent for it and we change our mind, we have the ability to abolish that particular part of government. So the ability to alter or abolish government and to institute new government, laying, as we said, its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such forms as shall to them seem the most likely to affect their safety and happiness. That means that we get to design our government in a way where we know what the principles are, that will make it strong, that will give us a strong foundation, and we get to organize the powers. In other words, we get to decide who gets to decide on each issue. We organize the powers of our government so that federal government gets to make some of the decisions, state government makes some of the decisions, local government. But most of the time we make the decision self government, the family, the individual unit, the church, the community. And if we organize those powers correctly, we'll experience the benefits of liberty and wealth and prosperity and all the things that everybody says they want. You know, everybody says I want life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. But if we go back to those words, what were the bookends that made that possible? Truth is the foundation. We hold these truths to be self evident. And then the recognition that there is a creator. You notice Jefferson actually said that we're endowed by our. You think your rights come from God? why are you a bunch of Christian nationalists? I mean, apparently that's what they tell us, A Christian nationalist is these people actually think their freedom comes from God. It's exactly what Jefferson said. He actually said our freedom comes from God, which means we must live our freedom respecting the authority of God. So this idea that there is truth, that there's a creator, that there's a pursuit, not a guarantee, is happiness, that there is a system that we get to give or refuse consent for, that's the beginning of this nation, that's what we're going to celebrate on the 250th. Now, Jefferson warned. He said prudence indeed will dictate the government's long established should not be changed for light and transient causes. Accordingly, all experience has shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. In other words, he's saying we'll put up with a lot. You know, we'll experience a little bit of tyranny or a little bit of just harassment from a government agency or more taxes or more regulation or whatever because we're just busy living our lives. We're raising our kids, we're taking care of our business, we're building our ministry, we're coaching little league. We're doing this, we're doing that, and we just don't have time to go fight that battle. So mankind is more disposed to suffer while that evil is sufferable. And that's what we tend to do. Then Jefferson said something I think we kind of reached the brink on a couple of years ago. He said, but when a long train of abuses and usurpations pursuing inevitably the same object events as a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty to throw off such government and institute new guards for their future security. I kind of reached that point myself, how about you? But basically said, okay, we've dealt with this. We've suffered these evils long enough. And I think the American people did the same thing. I think there was just a collective enough is enough. This country where we said we really do need to rebuild liberty, that it's time for us to actually think about what kind of society we want to live in. Because we had freedom for so long, you know, we got spoiled, right? We enjoyed it. We just kind of got lazy. We got fat and happy, right? And we're just enjoying all these things and we weren't having to think about what are the inputs that actually produce the outputs that we want. Well, that's why I believe the 250th birthday of our nation gives us the chance to remind everyone what those inputs are. The semi syn quentennial. I had to practice that in front of the mirror a lot this morning. I want you to be impressed because that was seven syllables, okay? For a country boy like me that graduated in that half of the class that made the top half possible, saying any word that is seven syllables is quite impressive. Semiquin Centennial Did I Even say it right the first time. I think I said semi cinquentennial. Anyway, semi quincentennial is the right way to say it. You're hear that a lot over the next year. Maybe not me, since I'm going to mess it up most of the times that I say it. But the is we have a chance right now to rebuild liberty in this country in a way that I don't think we've ever seen in my lifetime. there's going to be a focus on this for the next 431 days as of tonight. A focus where people will listen to us as we talk about the right bricks to lay. You know, I've been fortunate enough to work with David and Tim Barton and wall Builders for a couple of decades now. And the name of their organization is Wall Builders. And I thought for these last two decades we were rebuilding the walls. Turns out we've been in the second chapter of Nehemiah convincing the King to let us go rebuild the walls. The American people, of course, in America. And I think they're ready. I think like King Artaxerxes, they're saying, go, go rebuild. I think they're saying, we'll give you the support. We'll even come alongside you and help you build. And so what we're going to do with this course is teach people the right bricks to lay, the right mortar to use and the right skills for how to rebuild that wall in our country, that foundation in our country in such a strong way that we don't just get a few golden years, we get several golden generations that we're able to pass this intact to our children and our grandchildren. We're able Torch of freedom so that it doesn't go out, but it actually burns even brighter. This is a window of opportunity like nothing we've ever had in my lifetime for sure. So I'm just going to paint the big picture for you real quick and then bring up our first special guest in our course. And in this kind of 30,000ft view we're going to look at, we'll just kind of show you what the bricks are. In other words, what are the building blocks that are important for us to all be a part of building over the next year or so. And then how do we get other people to do the same thing? How can we be force multipliers so that this thing grows in a mighty way? Well, the number one brick that we start with, the number one building block is right there at the beginning, right there in the Declaration. We hold these truths.
The American people say enough is enough with moral relativism
So we have to begin with truth, and that's the foundation upon which we will build. That's the principles upon which we will build the foundation. So we have to recognize there is a truth. You know, this whole moral relativism thing has. That took root about 60 years ago in this country. That's what led us down this road to where we don't even know what a woman is. We've gotten so confused about even basic biology. And the American people, again, have said, enough is enough.

Rick Green shares the first week of Rebuilding Liberty with The Core
Welcome back.
>> Rick Green: Thanks for staying with me here on at the Core with Walker Wildmon and Rick Green. I'm Rick Green, America's Constitution coach. And today we're sharing the first week of Rebuilding Liberty. That's the new course coming from Patriot Academy. It's a great opportunity for you to begin to dive into the foundational principles of the Declaration of Independence as we enter the 250th. Just a little over 300 days left before the actual day, July 4, 2026. So sharing with you the first week of Rebuilding Liberty today, we'll probably get a little bit more of it in the coming weeks. But most importantly, go sign [email protected] to be a Constitution coach or host and host this class in your home or at your church. Let's jump back in with Rebuilding Liberty.
>> Rick Green: And the American people again, have said, enough is enough. Let's get back to truth. Well, we have the truth now. We got to spread the truth. We got to speak that truth and teach as many people as we possibly can about that truth. Second brick we're going to really spend a lot of time on is, of course, the Creator. The fact that God's not just in the equation. That's the only reason, our equation. And of course, we see references to this throughout our declaration that we'll be celebrating laws of nature, Nature's God, the fact that all men are created equal. We're endowed by our Creator. So we'll Spend time on that, and we'll talk about the importance of that and how we play that out. And then, of course, I already mentioned pursuit of happiness. That's the third brick, and that's the free enterprise system. It's so important for us to recognize free enterprise works. I mean, all you gotta do is look at history. And every time that you move towards socialism, you destroy a country. It does not work. It has never worked. Socialism, Marxism, whatever ism name you want to give to it, it destroys a culture. And we've got to back to having some faith and some belief in Adam Smith's invisible hand. The fact that all of us making individual decisions will produce a better result than some government control of our land or our products or our pricing or our labor or any of those things. Government should have nothing to do with any of those things. So we've got to restore that pursuit of happiness. Consent of the governed. We've got to equip ourselves once again to say, I'm in charge. So I got to be willing to give consent, and I got to be willing to refuse consent. I got to be willing to stand up and say no to government officials, to be willing to do the hard work that it takes to say yes. In other words, I got to be willing to show up at the school board meeting or the city council meeting or maybe even run for the legislature or whatever it might be. But we've got to learn to give or refuse consent. Consent of the governed is a vital, vital part of how our system works in the first place. Instead of being disposed to suffer, we're done with suffering. And it's time to stand up. And it's going to. It's not going to come easy. So this is not. We're not just going to get to, you know, go to a class a couple of nights a week and then say, okay, this is done. No, this is our time to say it is our right, it is our duty to do this. We have a responsibility to alter or abolish, which will be one of the bricks that we build with. But we got to have the right mindset. So I said, we got to have the right bricks, got to have the right mortar, got to have the right mindset as well. And building can be, you know, a little risky. Being willing to stand up and speak the truth can be risky to our reputation, maybe even to our job. But we gotta stop playing it safe in this country. We bought into this safetyism idea that somehow if we play it safe, that we'll be able to continue to be free. If you value your safety more than your liberty, if you're willing to give up your liberty for safety, then you deserve neither liberty or safety. And so we gotta stop just loving this safetyism thing and always trying to play it safe. Play it safe, play it safe. There's nothing about the American dream that happened because we played it safe. It's because people were willing to risk. They were willing to put the elbow grease in. They were willing to do the hard work and take the chance in order to have the success. And safety is not a value. It can be a goal. I'm not saying we ought to be just stupid about how we do things. But the point is, this whole idea of safety, the reason I had to pull over, the reason it bothered me so much, is because when I drove by that sign, it was just a couple of months after an event in Texas where, because safety had become the highest value, we had 100 police officers with bulletproof vests and ballistic shields cowering on the other side of the door while a maniac was murdering children in a school. Because the commanding officer valued safety more than he valued virtue, he wasn't willing to do what needed to be done to stop the threat. If safety is your highest value, you cower in your home from a virus, you got a 99.9% chance of survival. When safety is the highest value, it destroys a culture. So we've got to stop loving safety.
>> Rick Green: Courage, it's hard to have without fear, without challenge. That's what I tell, young people. But know this. The truth is over the facts, that God's not giving you a spirit of fear, but a power, love, and a sound mind. And that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. I love what you said, brother, about being safe. Listen, we'd be doing these missions, boom, boom. I was just here again and again, be safe, be safe, be safe. And I mean, at a certain point, I just kind of like, so I just, I can't be safe inherently. The work that I do, what I'm called to as a missionary to do high risk work, is there is no safety in it. If I wanted to be safe, I would stay home. But even still, could I not slip on a curb, back up, get hit, have a bird kamikazing me in my eyeball? I don't know. I just said, look, I'll be careful, but I'm trained, and I'm not the one that has to worry. Anybody that comes against me to stop the will of God should worry.
>> Rick Green: So we got to get back to being willing to be dangerous. And what I mean by that is you got to be willing to put your reputation on the line. That's the kind of dangers I'm talking about. You got to be willing to stand up in your community and give or refuse consent and no longer play it safe. I just want to be nice. I just want everybody to like me. Ain't going to work, folks. You're going to be passing tyranny to your children instead of passing liberty to your children. We got to be willing to be dangerous if we're going to save this country. All right, a couple more bricks and then we'll bring up our guest for tonight.
Alter or abolish? I love those words in the Declaration of Independence
Alter or abolish? I love those words in the Declaration of Independence. Again, as I said earlier, we don't have to abolish government completely, but we got to change our mindset to be willing to go against the status quo. Not to assume that because some government agencies existed for 20 years or 50 years or even 100 years, that it's a legitimate function of government or that we it to happen. I think there's a moment right now where finally, for the first time in my lifetime, people are willing to question not just how much money an agency spends or how well they spend it, but whether or not the agency should exist at all. That's the kind of thinking we got to have. What is the proper role of government? Whether it's federal, state, whatever it might be. I mean, at the federal level, how about we abolish the Department of Education, or as I call it, the Department of Indoctrination? We don't need the federal government telling us how to do education. In fact, I would argue that anything the federal government is doing that we're already doing at the state level. Stop doing it at the federal level. We don't need you. Department of Agriculture could go away. The Department of Meddling, which is otherwise known as the Department of Labor, violates the biblical, violates constitutional, violates any principle of liberty. The idea that the government's going to tell you how much you have to pay me to come mow your lawn or to work for you or to sell my time to you, and that I have to work for that amount. I can't work for less or for. I mean, it's ridiculous. Let's get government out of the business of micromanaging our relationships. I definitely think we should get rid of the center for Demented Confusion and Disease Creation. I mean, it's not constitutional in the first place. They've done nothing but mess up everything that they. They put their hands to and at the local government. These land control freaks. You know, you've heard the expression control freaks. These are land control freaks. They actually think they know better than you what to do with your land. It's got to stop. And we've bought this life for too long again. You got to challenge the status quo and stop thinking that, oh, that. That local government engineer is saving. Having my neighbor do something that I don't like. No, they're preventing you from living out your pursuit of happiness with your land. These things have got to change. We've got to abolish them. All right, I'm getting too far into the weeds for our first night. We'll do that a little later in the coming weeks. you already know this one. Free speech was nearly killed in this country over the last few years. Think about if they. If they had without the ability to have the Declaration declare the causes, to list those 27 grievances. That's free speech. That's the ability to say, this is what we're against. This is what we're for. We've got to have that kind of civil discourse. They literally submitted it to a candid world. I mean, these are the words from the Declaration of Independence. That's beginning that concept, those rights of conscience being ingrained in us as a country petitioning for a redress. I mean, this is being involved. You've got to be willing to stand up and speak your mind. So we either have civil discourse or we have civil war. And I believe now we're finally veering back towards civil discourse. We were headed towards civil war in this country, and now we finally started embracing free speech. We've got people that are willing to sit down together that are very different. Let's have those conversations and talk about why we disagree. Okay, two more bricks. Life and liberty absolutely require blind, equal justice. That's biblical justice. Biblical justice says neither Jew nor Greek, neither rich nor poor. Right. We don't have. We don't treat people different in the courtroom because they belong to a particular political party or because they protested with a particular group. We should treat everybody the same under the law. That's a biblical idea of justice. It's the opposite of social justice. And so we have to get back to the biblical foundations of what made our country great.
Rebuilding Liberty wants to put 4 million more people through Constitution classes
And that brings us. Rick is absolutely essential for us to save the country. And, boy, we could go through a lot of phrases in the Declaration with regard to this one. In fact, Just a few of them. He's obstructed justice. He's combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our Constitution and unacknowledged by our laws. I mean, think about what they tried to do to submit our healthcare to international organizations over the last couple years. They attempted to do exactly that. Submit us or subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our Constitution and unacknowledged by our laws. Jefferson's so good. Listen what he said. Giving his assent to their acts of pretended legislation. That's what it would have been had we allowed that to happen. Thankfully, it was stopped. But you know, depriving trial by jury. I mean, all of those examples in the Declaration of Independence, there's so many of them that have happened in just the last few years. The last brick. Patriotism. This is such an important piece of what makes a nation strong. And like we said, it was dying. I mean, just like Reagan warned, it was dying in our country. And it's on the comeback. So we want to teach a patriotism that is informed. We want to. We want to put literally 4 million more people through our Constitution classes. We've already put a million through our classes. But if we're going to make this thing happen, if we're going to restore patriotism in our country, if we're going to rebuild liberty, there's your metrics right there. We need 5 million informed patriots. That's 3% of the presidential voting population. That's enough to push the whole nation the right direction. We've already done a million of them, so we only need 4 million more. We need 100,000 Constitution coaches and hosts. That's people just like you inviting people over to your living room or your church or wherever it might be. And doing this class, we've already got 30,000, 175 of those 10, thousand candidates. We've already got hundreds and hundreds of candidates. People that have gone through our courses and now are serving in Congress. We got about a dozen that are serving in Congress that have been through our classes. We've got state legislatures all over the country. We got hundreds of school board members and city council members and county commissioners. We need 10,000. And then this may sound like a big number to you, but here's our goal with Rebuilding Liberty. 5000 celebrations on July 4, 2026. Now, that may sound like a lot to you. There's 20,000 communities, according to the Census Bureau, that have five or more people. 20,000. So we're only talking about getting 25% of them to have some sort of celebration on July 4, 2026 that wouldn't even get you in the hall of Fame in baseball if you were only batting.250. Okay? But we're going to do it. We're going to get at least 25. So I don't want to hear any, you know, like the 10 spies that came back from any whiners out there saying, rick, that's too much. It's too hard. The Giants are too big, the cities are too fortified. None of that junk. We're going to get this done. God has given us the land. Let's go take the land. We need to be like Joshua and Caleb. That's what it's going to take to do things. This. So here's what we're asking you to do, okay? Not just us as a whole, across the nation. I'm asking everybody in this room, everybody watching this video, everybody that goes through this class to do two, two, two. Okay? Two hours a week of your life, 2% of your fortune, and two times a week that you put your sacred honor on the line. So two hours a week is enough for you to host one of these classes or to go knock on doors or to go speak to the school board or whatever you figure out. We'll talk in a later class about the 12 steps to recovery. Yes, this is a recovery program, alright? Huh? We're going to talk about those 12 steps in, a later class. You don't have to. Here's the difference between a personal recovery program and this 12 step program. You only got to do one of the steps. You don't have to do all 12. Okay? But you pick one of those and you spend two hours a week working on it. You invest 2% of your fortune into that. Cause maybe you give that much to a school board candidate or you invest that much in your own campaign. Or maybe you give it to Patriot Academy. That'd be great. perhaps you give it to wall builders or to the Moms for Liberty or Moms for America, whatever group you might be doing this class with. But 2% is nothing, folks. Come on. Every single one of us. I don't care what your income level is. You can take that amount and at least $17 and 76 cents a month to Patriot Academy or to another organization. We're not the only ones doing good work. There's a lot of good groups out there. Give more to your church so that they can be the epicenter of your community. Two percent of your fortune invested into freedom. And then Two times a week, putting your name line, being willing to post publicly about something that's going on with this Rebuilding Liberty effort. Maybe you expose something that's happened in your community. Maybe just share one of our posts, at Patriot Academy or share the post of the group that's hosting this class for you. But somehow, some way, you help get the word out there. So two, two, two.
The Patriot Academy Constitution Coach program trains hundreds of thousands of Americans on the Constitution
Okay, I told you. We'll do the 12 steps recovery on a different night. But I will tell you, it breaks down as three steps to restore civic literacy, three steps to restore religious liberty and a God consciousness, and six steps to restore limited government. You'll have to make sure you come back next week and a, few weeks after that to find out more about it. I'll play this and then we will have our special guest up. This one is one of the steps. It's actually everybody going through this course, then turning around and being a Constitution host or a Constitution coach. Anybody can do it. You don't have to have any experience. You don't have to know anything about the Declaration of the Constitution. You just put the videos in. You do the power play, man. You turn the power on, you hit play and you let David Barton and Tim Barton and all the other folks do the teaching for you. Take a look at this and you'll see how easy it is to restore liberty in your community. Everyone has something they're fighting for. Your family, your country. Today, those things are under attack by tyrannical government. But what if I told you there's a way to fight back? The Patriot Academy Constitution Coach program is training hundreds of thousands of Americans all across this country on their constitutional rights and our founding principles.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: The Coach program is people like me. It's just average people when they learn.
>> Rick Green: Together about our founding documents.
>> Speaker G: The Constitution Coach program was a great opportunity to get people together to awaken their memory of who they are as Americans. To have them rendezvous with their founding fathers and our history and to awaken that 1776 DNA that's in all of us. As Americans. If we don't know our rights, a tyrannical government will always abuse them.
>> Speaker G: The Coach program is a way for people to serve their country by educating everyone in their sphere, everyone they come in contact with about the Constitution and the founding documents. Through Patriot Academy's Constitution courses, you can learn what our constitutional rights are and where those rights come from.
>> Speaker G: What a fun way to save the Republic is just to listen to these videos and have classes with like minded people. America needs you to take a Stand for truth, to look, learn the formula that created the greatest nation in history.
>> Rick Green: I think as humans, we just.
>> Speaker G: It's in us that we're designed to.
>> Rick Green: Want, to help people, to serve and to love. And I think this is the best.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: Way to do it. And the best news, becoming a coach is absolutely free. But if freedom in America is going to live on, there must be enough of us that understand our rights, how to protect them and pass freedom on to future generations. We need you.
>> Rick Green: Hang in there, folks.
>> Rick Green: Got to take a quick break. You're listening to the Rebuilding Liberty course here on at the Corps.
>> Rick Green: At the Corps podcast. Are [email protected] now back to at the Core on American Family Radio.
Rick Green discusses Rebuilding Liberty on At the Core
>> Rick Green: Welcome back to At the Core with Walker Wildmon and Rick Green. Thanks for staying with me today. We've got, the Rebuilding Liberty course that we're sharing today. And of course, I want to invite you to get the entire [email protected] we give away the class for free. Just sign up as a host for free, and you can watch the entire class. Not just listen to it, but watch the entire class and invite your friends and family over to watch it with you. Let's jump right back in.
>> Rick Green: Welcome back to Rebuilding Liberty. I am honored to have my pastor with us, Jimmy Pruitt from the Bridge Church in Fredericksburg. Hey, brother, thanks for coming on.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: It's exciting to be here. It's a joy.
>> Rick Green: first of all, I'm so glad we live in Fredericksburg and the Patriot Academy is being built here and that we get to go to your church. You and Annette have become great friends and just great examples for how to engage the culture. You know, where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. And we're going to rebuild liberty. We need the spirit of the Lord to do that.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: Absolutely.
>> Rick Green: How did you get so fired up about impacting the culture? I mean, not most pastors don't. And you've told me you didn't used to be so engaged in what was going in the culture. Something happened.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: Yeah, I had an awakening, so to speak. It started with, something called a pandemic Covid. And that was really.
>> Rick Green: Remember that happening. Anybody?
>> Jimmy Pruitt: Yeah, that was the shot over the bow. That was when I woke up and began to realize something's not right here. So 11 weeks in, we decided to regather. So we did the online thing just like everybody else, and then we made the announcement. But I told him, I said, there's three things you need to know coming into our church and it is this. Number one, I believe you're intelligent. Number two, I believe you're informed. And number three, the last time I checked, you're still free. So we pulled everybody back together, and we had probably about 250 to 300 that came back. So it was a smaller group. And, and we had said, no one can touch each other. No meet and greet, no hugging, no high fives.
>> Rick Green: That's hard for church people, man.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: Well, it didn't go as planned. So everybody walks in door, and it turned into a mosh pit. I mean, people were like, and me, m and my staff are on.
>> Rick Green: The platform going, we're just.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: We just had a major super spreader. I mean, this is, this. We're going to be written up. You know, we're going to make the news in the wrong way.
>> Rick Green: All that happened.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: We lived through all that enough. by the way, we never had a super spreader. And people begin to come back and we begin to enjoy each other again. And. And I look back on all of that and I realize how duped I was, how blind I was, how naive I was.
>> Rick Green: You were staying in the sphere of. Of ministry that you'd been taught and then that most people are taught, this is church over here, and that stuff over there is not church.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: Absolutely. You know, separation of church and state. Yeah, there's a lot of damage, a lot of toll taken. 7,000 pastor during that time, 7,000 pastors a month were quitting in America. and churches were dying. Churches were not reopening. There was a holy anger in me, and part of that was due two things. I woke up, the scales fell off, and I realized I have a responsibility now to begin to speak into culture. And the way I say it is that we didn't chase politics. Politics showed up on our front door, and now we have to give an answer. And there was something about learning about this and hearing about the black robe regiment and, learning about these pastors who not only stood for freedom, but they ignited the fires of freedom and liberty and breaking away from tyranny. And I just thought, what kind of guy at my age, what do I want?
>> Rick Green: My.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: What do I want my legacy to be on the way out? That I was safe or that I was dangerous?
>> Rick Green: Amen.
Get in the arena on cultural issues
And would you be the kind of pastor that Paul Revere would be writing to your house? I mean, you think about it, why did he become so well known? He knew which doors to knock on. He knew Sam Adams and John Hancock were at the pastor's house. So are you that kind of pastor that is in the middle of the fight. And I wanted you to on this course, because there's pastors that are going to watch this that have been trying to decide, you know, and there were Black Road Regiment pastors like John Peter Gabriel Muhlenberg, that took off the robe, you know, in the middle of his sermon and called his men to arms, who had a brother who was a pastor, saying, don't do this. Who would end up getting so involved later that he becomes the first speaker of the House under the United States Constitution. And I feel like in many ways, you're like Frederick Augustus. You might not have been the guy that was involved five years ago, 10 years ago, but now you're so involved in. You're at the forefront of it. And I think there's a lot of pastors that are going to watch this that needed to hear from a pastor like you to say, is it okay for me to engage in culture like this?
>> Jimmy Pruitt: What I realized is I was late to the party. M. But I'm here now.
>> Rick Green: Yeah. Which means it's not too late for you.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: That's right.
>> Rick Green: If you're watching this. That's exactly right.
>> Speaker I: So many people, are in the church, and they're seeing the propaganda on television. They're seeing confusing headlines, and they're hearing things in their ears from the neighbors and friends, and they say, oh, Christians, what are you saying on this? What are you saying on that? What happens is some Christians go to their pastors, and pastors say, yeah, no, we don't deal with that there. Pastors and churches are the most trusted source for direction, for morality, for guidance. And so we believe, Rob and I and Turning Point Faith and Patriot Academy in this beautiful partnership that we want to equip all of you to have those answers. And guess what? If you have questions, that's what this is all about. You say, hey, I heard that the, founding Fathers were deists. Let's find out if that's true.
>> Rick Green: That's right.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: So what I found out was that our people were just waiting on me. They were like. They were. They were ready to go. And when I began to. I thought I was taking a chance, right? I'm gonna. I preached a sermon called we don't lean, We Stand. And I listed 11 things we stand for. And the whole church stood up. And I'm like, what is going on here? I thought people would be bolting for the door. They weren't. They were standing up saying, we're standing too. We will fight too you know, I say it over and over that America doesn't have a political problem. We have a spiritual problem, we have a heart problem. And so my message to pastors is get in the arena. Why did we sign up to do this anyway? Did we sign up to be safe? Did we say yes to Jesus because we thought it was gonna be a great way to make a living and it's gonna be glamorous and glorious and fun all the time? And no, no, we got into this because we said yes. So I tell pastors, look, stop being afraid. You didn't sign up for this thing to be safe. You didn't sign up just to, so you could get the T shirt or the collar or the degree. You signed up to make a difference, to be a change agent in the world, whatever the cost.
>> Rick Green: That's what I hear from you right now. You're saying, whatever the cost is. I'm going to stand up, I'm going to, I'm going to speak truth and let the chips fall where they may. Before we, before we close this, this part, you started doing something that used to be a common practice in churches. Pastors would hit whatever the cultural issues were from the pulpit. So they would basically say, this stuff's going on. Here's what the Bible says about it, or here's how we should approach it as, as believers. And you've been taking, you know, 3, 5, 10, whatever it is at the beginning of each sermon to basically say, okay, look, here's what happened last week, guys, here's how we need to look at it. That's very unusual today. How is the. I know, I love it, and I hear people cheering at church. I mean, is your sense that if more pastors would do that, number one, their congregation would be better informed, but they would actually be coming to get a biblical perspective on what happened last week. And that's a healthy thing for us.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: Yeah, that's the idea of having a biblical worldview.
Part of pastor's responsibility is to equip saints for work of ministry
And so part of my responsibility as a teacher, pastor teacher, is to equip the saints for the work of ministry, work of service, all the Ephesians four things. The responsibility in the pastors for the first 200 plus years, that's what they did. They equipped the saints, they taught them what was going on through the lens of the Bible, through the lens of Scripture. And as I began to study these pastors and what they did and how they ignited the fires of revolution and all that, then I realized I have a responsibility to do that. I can't just ignore what Historically has been done. And I can't stand in front of my church and say, hey, we need to go fight the good fight. Be salt and light. Unless I also am doing that myself. What that requires of me, though, you.
>> Rick Green: Got to do homework every week.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: I got to stay informed. Yeah. I have to know what's going on. I would rather get up and spend time to do that than not and drive out of the parking lot thinking I failed my people because I did not give them a perspective from the Bible on a particular topic that's relevant to their lives.
>> Rick Green: It is, and it's made it an ecclesia. I mean, it really has. That is. You know, in our first course, Biblical Citizenship, Modern America, Rob McCoy talks about that and the importance of a church book, being that, Aristotle said politics. Is the highest form of community. It combines morality with sociability. But you want to go biblical, let's do that. Let's. Let's just bypass Aristotle. Let's go to Matthew 16:18. Jesus is with his disciples up at Caesarea Philippi at the headwaters of the Jordan. He turns to them, he says, who do men say that I am? They say, some say you're John the Baptist. Others say you're Jeremiah and Jesus. Yes, but who do you say that I am?
>> Rick Green: And Peter.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: Peter says, you're the Christ, the son of the living God. He says, blessed are you, Simon bar Jonah, for flesh and blood is not revealed this to you, but my father in heaven. And this is where our Catholic brothers and sisters get the papal authority. But it goes really deep. He says, blessed are you, Simon bar Jonah, for flesh and blood is not revealed this to you, but my Father in heaven, upon this rock, this testimony, I will build my. Now they know.
>> Rick Green: They know. See, I would have said church. Most people would say church. They said you would have said church.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: But this is what you call an, educated ecclesia. The point is this. For anyone who says that, that the body of Christ shouldn't engage in politics, Jesus, when he said ecclesia, he didn't say church. That word didn't show up till 400 years later, as a matter of fact, William Tyndale would be hung and then burned at the stake for transportation. Translating the word properly from the Greek into the English language. And the word he put was assembly. And the translation of ecclesia. Because Jesus co opted a secular term. He didn't use a religious term. He didn't say synagogue. He didn't say temple. He said ecclesia. ecclesia had existed in Greek culture for hundreds of years prior to Jesus co opting it. And an ecclesia was the public square. This is where citizens gathered together to establish, established the laws to govern their community. And above the door of every gathering of an ecclesia were two words. Isonomia and Eleutheria, Liberty and equality.
>> Rick Green: You know, too often the church is not the place where you can ask questions and talk about what's going on in the world. And that's what we need. I mean that is literally making disciples. So you've done a phenomenal job of it. I'm hoping that this course will encourage thousands and thousands of pastors to do the exact same thing and get plugged in. I know it's been rewarding to you guys and you would do it even if it wasn't. I think, I mean I feel that from you, you're going to do what's right regardless of the cost. But I think God's rewarding you for it.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: I have no regrets whatsoever of doing this. And what I'm seeing is a church on fire. I'm seeing a church come alive and I'm seeing disciples rising up.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: The congregation needs to understand what it means to be a member or citizen of a constitutional republic. And as Charlie pointed out, liberty is not man's idea, it's God's idea. And we have to instruct the congregants because it makes them better citizens in their community. And if we want to love our neighbor, we need to know how to operate within a constitutional republic. So yeah, it will be a little bit extra on a plate of a pastor. But ultimately when you front load it, you're going to have a congregation that is going to be remarkable in the community.
>> Jimmy Pruitt: And I'm seeing our people involved in civil government, city government, they're in all of it, schools, standing up and being bold in schools, rescuing and helping J6ers get transitioned back into life. I mean we're seeing ah, people get renewed, redeemed. And isn't that what the gospels sounds.
>> Rick Green: Like the church, what the church is supposed to do? Right. Sounds like actually being salt and light, bringing out the best flavor in the culture, dispelling the darkness. God bless you man. Keep up the great work. I'm thrilled to be a part of your church. Thrilled to see what's happening not only here in Fredericksburg, but all over the country.
Welcome to the tavern portion of our Rebuilding Liberty course
Welcome to the tavern portion of our Rebuilding Liberty course. Just like the founding fathers gathered in the taverns and the churches and the parlors, you know, some Conversations are so weighted, so important, they're frankly revolutionary, then they need to take place around the fire, or you, know, maybe in your parlor or in a tavern close by. And I'm not talking about a bar. I'm talking about a tavern where you gathered to eat, where you gathered to have a discussion, revolutionary discussions, about the strategies and the tactics necessary to make freedom last. In the founding Father's case, to birth freedom. In our case, to preserve that freedom and passage to the next generation. So we're going to do this just like they did. And. And I know some of you might be wondering, Rick, why. Why do you call it the tavern? I mean, it sounds like you're in a bar now. I'm actually drinking some Patriot brew coffee, which you should definitely get some of from Patriot Academy. But think about some of the taverns in the founding area. The Green Dragon Tavern. I mean, that's the place that was frequented by Paul Revere and John Hancock and all the rest. That's where they overheard the plans to attack at Lexington and Concord and sent Paul Revere on his midnight ride. What about Buckman Tavern right there at Lexington? Basically, right at the outside Pastor Jonas Clark's house, right there on the Lexington green. I mean, that's the place that they had to go rescue John Hancock's papers right before the British were marching onto the field. Places like France's Tavern in New York. And that's the place where George Washington bid farewell to his officers were not. A dry eye was in the room. I think one of my favorites is Golden Fleece Tavern in Dover, Delaware. That's where the Constitution was ratified. That's why Delaware's known as the first state because they were the first to ratify the Constitution. It was done in a tavern, the Golden Fleece Tavern. And then I just went a few weeks ago with two of my kiddos. We actually had a little riding retreat in colonial Williamsburg. Really neat place to go visit. And Christiana Campbell's Tavern is still in operation there. It was George Washington's favorite place to go. I think he ate there something like 86 times.
Three steps to raise civic literacy include teaching the Declaration of Independence
So get you some shepherd's pie, get you some Patriot brew coffee, and gather around each week in class. We're going to have a discussion right here in the tavern about the strategies and the tactics, really the action items. Think of it that way. We'll spend about five minutes, five, maybe ten minutes each week sitting right here in the tavern, talking about what we're going to do with what we learned tonight. And this first week, we're really talking about bringing the Declaration back. It's what we'll do throughout the 250th, teaching the Declaration of Independence, taking the principles out of the Declaration and talking about how that's the foundation of the country. It came from the Biblical foundation foundations. And so if we're going to raise civic literacy in our country, we've got to teach the Declaration. So the first three steps that we're going to talk about this week, they all help to raise civic literacy by teaching Declaration principles in the culture. Remember, I said tonight we're going to have 12 steps, our 12 step recovery program. And you only got to do one or two of them. So this week, let me throw out three options for you. Number one, host a rebuild Liberty class. You can sign up today for free at Patriot Academy to you get all the videos, everything you need to be able to host a class. Number two, I want you to start planning now for the 250th celebration in your community. Either join with some other people in your community or start it yourself, but start thinking about what you're going to do for July 4th, 2026. Plan that 250th celebration. So number one, host a rebuild liberty class. Number two, think about hosting a 250th celebration. And number seven, three, get the Constitution back into your local schools. You can do that a couple of ways and if you go to our website, patriotacademy.com we'll have more of this in detail. Or you can, you can do it in your, in your workbook and in the blueprint for rebuilding Liberty. But number one, Constitution Day, whether that's already occurred or you're thinking about next year, September 17, get the Constitution class that we offer at Patriot Academy to your local school. Federal law says they're supposed to do it. Most states, state laws say they're supposed to do it. But maybe you need to get Great Freedom Week passed in your state to give you that extra oomph, if you will, when you're going to the local school and asking them to study these things. There's more about all of that in your workbook or in the blueprint or@site patriotacademy.com we can absolutely rebuild Liberty if we'll take the steps in our neighborhoods, in our communities, in our cities, we can get this done. So pick one of those three steps steps and take it. This week, start your Rebuild Liberty class. Start planning a 250th celebration. Find out what you can do to get the Constitution in your local schools. One of those.
You can get the full course of Rebuilding Liberty at Patriot Academy
