: Ellis in the morning on, American Family Radio.
Jenna Ellis: I love talking about the things of God because of truth and the biblical worldview, the U.S. constitution obligates our government to promot, preserve and protect. The rights that our founders recognize come from God, our creator, not our government. I believe that scripture in the Bible is very clear that God is the one that raised up each of you. And God has allowed us to be brought here to this specific moment in time.

An openly transgender athlete will be competing in the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics
Jenna Ellis: Good morning. It is Monday, February 9, and today is one of those days that I was just so excited to get up and be with you all this morning because there are so many ridiculous headlines from Friday through today that I am just so excited to make fun of them and to laugh at the absurdity of society today and how off the rails crazy America has become. And, and then on a serious note, say that this is why we need to live in reality. We need to focus on truth, and we need to bring society back into, ah, just a state of common sense. Whatever happened to common sense? It's not really that common anymore, is it? and this is the utter denial of reality. And common sense is how you get to some of these headlines. And the first one, if you haven't been watching the Olympics, well, you know, good for you. I think a lot of us have pretty much, boycotted them for a while. Since they become, they, they have become pretty woke. And they. The boxer from, the last Summer Olympics, remember the guy who was claiming that he's a girl and went, into the arena, and then there was that one female, boxer that refused to compete against a man and so, you know, lost her position and all. That was a really just terrible story of a man stealing an, opportunity from a woman that's now finally come out that, guess what? He's actually a man. And people are feigning shock and surprise over this. And it's like now we've been telling you for a while because it's very obvious, and, his chromosomes match that. But, the transgender mafia, not to be denied their moment. Now then, this is coming from the Washington Times. An openly transgender athlete will be competing in the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics. But don't expect any protests from advocates of single sex women's sports. This is why. So, freestyle skier Ellis Lundholm. And that's the first name, by the way, so no relation to me, thankfully. 23, qualified last month for the Swedish women's Olympic skiing team. The athlete is a female, so she's a woman who identifies as a male. So instead of going up against men based on gender identity, Lundholm sky skis in the female category based on sex at birth. So in other words, this is a biological woman who competes against women, just has really, really short hair and calls herself a dude. Okay, so this isn't anything really groundbreaking, but, and this. The article continues, the LGBTQ media has nonetheless hailed London's participation as historic, cheering the skier as the first openly transgender athlete to compete in the Winter Olympic Games. So this is a woman saying falsely that she's a man, but nonetheless competing with women anyway. Well, why is it that only the men who say that they're women want to go into women's sports and compete?
: But.
Jenna Ellis: But now when a woman identifies as a man, she's not going up against all the men and the skiers. Why? Because she probably wouldn't have qualified for the Olympics to begin with, and the LGBTQ Swedish skiing team wouldn't get their moment right. Because we all know that there is a measurable, reality, concrete difference, biologically between men and women. And so it's hilarious that this is some kind of groundbreaking moment, but the point still needs to remain that it doesn't actually matter what she identifies with or whatever false reality she wants us to participate in with language. This is still a woman who's competing with women, so who cares, right? So this, this is now, possibly going to undermine the case of activists who have insisted that transgender athletes must be able to compete in opposite sex sports based on their gender identity. Because now this woman who's claiming to be a man still wants to compete with women. Doesn't that go against their whole, you know, trans agenda? I mean, this isn't at all groundbreaking, but it may ultimately undermine their own claims. So that's. That. It's just, it's just so ridiculous. Because even their own agenda understands that women can't compete against men or in the sports, that obviously men are just stronger and faster women will lose. So they're affirming the reality of it. So that's, that's the first absurd headline there. And, you know, that was, that was just ridiculous.
Why aren't Christians more involved in the arts so that things are beautiful
And the second thing that came out of, Team USA and The Olympics. and surprisingly, it really wasn't the opening ceremonies, which was really tame and, you know, kind of pretty. Actually. I did watch some of that, comparatively, with the Summer Olympics, you'll remember, from a couple of years ago, that had m. You know, a lot of the LGBTQ imagery and that ridiculous mockery of the Last Supper painting and, you know, some of that stuff. this actually was. It was kind of weird in an artistic way, like a lot of these opening ceremonies are. But it wasn't, you know, overtly, trying to be offensive to Christians. That was a very good thing. but I have to ask the question, why aren't Christians more involved in the arts so that we can make things genuinely beautiful instead of just weird? Like a lot of the. The people who. The artists who deny God, they deny reality, and then ultimately their art is a reflection of their worldview. my good friend Nancy Pearcey makes this point incredibly well in a book that you absolutely need to read if you haven't called Saving Leonardo. And she makes the point that art is an expression of the artist's worldview. And just as we, as the creation are an expression of. Of God, our Creator, we find our identity in Him. we are his, his handiwork. And we see that all over Scripture. we see the truth of the reality to which we are presented. It reflects, order and logic. God himself is an ordered God with authority, and the universe reflects. Reflects, him and reflects our Creator. We can learn a lot about our Creator by observing creation, not just what he has revealed to us in his special revelation, but the general, revelation of reality. And similarly, when you look at art, you can tell a lot about the artist's worldview and mindset. And a lot of artists used to be, at least believers in God, our Creator. And, you know, whether or not they were substantive Christians, you know, that can obviously be debated there, whether they were perfect in their theology, but they at least recognized God and order. And you had these wonderful masterpieces from especially, the Renaissance and the Reformation. This was the whole idea of that time period in history is, coming out of the Middle Ages and kind of restoring, you know, a lot of beauty as well as theology. Right. But now we've kind of entered this, this phase and this. This has been this way for a while, that we are, in a moment in American society and even, you know, across the world, that a lot of artists, most artists that are not Christians. And so the art and the expression and cinema and film, A lot of that reflects a false biblical worldview. And so, it's, it's very weird, right? And Christians really need to not just categorically, abandon the arts. And this is one of the things that my good friend Andrew Clavin from Daily Wire talks about frequently, and I love having him on this program. You can go back and listen to former, interviews, prior interviews with him, talking about entertainment in Hollywood and, you know, some of these things and why Christians should be engaged in truthful storytelling. Christians should also be engaged in truthful art. anyway, so, so I highly recommend, the book Saving Leonardo by Nancy Pearcey.
Freestyle skiers sparked outrage over remarks about Team USA during Olympics
but one of these other ridiculous headlines from the Olympics was the, the freestyle skiers that sparked outrage over their remarks about, representing Team usa. But then they were complaining about ice and, you know, the government and all of this while they were at a sporting event. Like, you don't need to mix politics with sports. Didn't the NFL learn this? And we're going to get to the NFL, on this program because not only did we have the Olympics, we also had the super bowl this weekend. There was a lot of woke going on. But, there, you know, this is just utterly profane, honestly, that you have a, an athlete who, who's wearing the American flag representing Team USA and they are disparaging, the country that they are representing. And I think that there should be a rule in Team USA that you cannot disparage your country. No other country is putting up with this. I mean, you don't see the Italians, I mean, getting up there and disparaging their country. I'm sure that they don't agree with everything that their government is doing. But even at the opening ceremonies, they were proud of their flag. You know, where, where we somehow think that just because we have free speech and the First Amendment, that that covers every instance of profaning our nation and what it stands for. So people are suggesting that, that MAGA and the right is like, all against, the First Amendment. And we're against free speech because we're suggesting that athletes shouldn't be able to use their platform at the Olympics to disparage our nation. Well, the First Amendment is getting abused again in this regard because somehow it's funny how the left suddenly rediscovers constitutional principles that they try to apply in totally wrong ways whenever it just happens to go along with their worldview. So people are saying that Team USA can't tell athletes not to trash their own country because free speech, well, that is wrong. The First Amendment limits the government. It does not force private organizations to promote or platform or sponsor speech they don't agree with. And so Team USA is governed by the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee. It's a private organization. When you choose to represent Team usa, a private organization on the world stage, you are agreeing to a code of conduct and nobody is forcing you to do that. You're free to say whatever you want. But if Team usa, as part of their rules of participation, like they have other, rules and you know, morality clauses like you can't do certain performance enhancing drugs or you're cut from the team, right. There are certain rules in place that govern participation. that, that is not censorship. It's simply the conditions of participation. And Team USA really needs to get it together and not allow the sporting events to be hijacked by politics because nobody wants to watch that. And we all recognize that.
The White House accidentally posted a video about election integrity that triggered outrage
Okay, last, last ridiculous headline. Very quickly, I'm sure that all of you saw the video that President Trump, apparently it was a staffer, you m know, some low level staffer that saw this video that ultimately was about election integrity. And then the last couple of seconds auto played another video and that was cut together because when you're screen recording and I've done this, you know, you, it, if you're screen recording a video, then it'll jump and play automatically the next one and you got to go back in and crop it.
Jenna Ellis: Well, the cropping didn't happen.
Jenna Ellis: And so the left went absolutely into a spiral over the, this video that Trump, Trump's social media account posted because it showed the Obamas as caricatures in the jungle and a lot of other, political figures. It showed Trump as the lion, king of the jungle, but Myshel and Barack Obama were caricatured as apes, which is a trope. It is something that, you know, nobody should be doing. but the fact that this was so magnified as, oh, Trump is racist because of this couple of second clip. If you actually go back and look at the video, it was caricaturing a lot of different political figures. Like pencil Next Chef was a giraffe, which I actually think is kind of funny. Right? So it, and it wasn't done by the Trump team. It was a couple of seconds that was inadvertently posted. So instead of just saying that and being like, you know, you guys, stop it, like, this is ridiculous. No, the White House takes it down, apologizes for it. And the thing that makes this utterly ridiculous is not because it's actually accurate that Trump is a racist.
Jenna Ellis: But the White House gave the left.
Jenna Ellis: An outrage cycle for a day and a half across social media. You even had people like Tim Scott like, this is the most racist thing I've ever seen coming out of this White House. Come on, dude. Like, you know, it was, it was so ridiculously overdone. But the problem is that it was such an unforced error that the White House gave the left an outrage cycle instead of focusing on maybe what ICE is actually doing or the fact that a lot more profane things were hurled by the left to ice. If you haven't seen some of those videos. But the left isn't talking about that. They're not talking about the illegals that killed four Amish men, by a cdl. They're not talking about any of that because Republicans can't get it together. Anyways, we will be right back with more.
Preborn network clinics help women choose life through a free ultrasound
Jenna Ellis: We're living in a time when truth is under attack. Lies are easy to tell, easy to spread, and easy to believe. But truth, truth is costly. And nowhere is the cost, greater than for mothers in crisis. When a woman is told abortion is her only option, silence and lies surround her. But when she walks into a preborn network clinic, she's met with compassion, support, and the truth about the growing life inside her. That moment of truth happens through a free ultrasound, and it's a game changer. When a mother sees her baby and hears that heartbeat, and it literally doubles the chance she will choose life. Preborn network clinics are on the front lines, meeting women in their darkest hour, loving them, helping them choose life and sharing the truth. Friend, this is not the time to be silent. It is the time for courage, for truth, and for life. Just $28 provides one ultrasound and the opportunity for a mother to see her baby, to help her choose truth and choose life.
Jenna Ellis: Life.

Bad Bunny or Kid Rock had the better halftime show, according to poll
Jenna Ellis: Welcome back. Well, the, the NFL had planned plenty of controversial headlines yesterday, and that included, their halftime show, which was just utterly ridiculous. And this is actually hilarious that tmz, the entertainment network, posted a poll on X yesterday who had the better halftime show, Bad Bunny or Kid Rock? Ah, bad Bunny, of course, is the, the Puerto Rican, singer who sang only in Spanish was, wearing a dress. Everybody. It was Ridiculous. that was the NFL who thought that that's what, all of their sports fans would want to see. And then TP USA had an alternative all American halftime show featuring Kid Rock and probably to TMZ, M. Surprise. Bad Bunny was only 33% and Kid Rock was 66.7% out of almost, 300,000 votes on X. the poll is still up for another. Looks like 13 hours. So if you're on X, you can go and vote on, But the. This was, again, kind of an outrage cycle for the left because they were suggesting that somehow, you know, this was wonderful. This was, you know, diversity. And look at Bad Bunny. And then you had the. The ridiculous gospel establishment, idiots like, ah, John Kasich, that said, loved the halftime show, which celebrates the wonderful Latino culture. Great pick and great show. Bad Bunny hit a grand slam home run. Okay, well, first of all, wrong sport, wrong play. There's no such thing as a grand slam home run, but also just totally, you know, wrong play on this one. and it was really embarrassing to see some of the establishment GOP years just go for Bad Bunny, just because they want to appeal to the left. And they will never learn that no matter how much you try to get the left to like you, they're never going to. Especially for somebody like John Kasich. He fits perfectly within the parameters of everything that they claim is the oppressor because he is the old white male who's a Republican. So, sorry, John Kasich, that's never going to work. but TPOSA featured, a. An alternative all American halftime show, which I think the numbers were at least over 6 million people across platforms tuned in, which was fantastic. And, the gospel was front and stage, from Kid Rock, if you can believe that. So this is just part of what he said. This was cut one.
Jeff Chamblee: There's a book that's sitting in your house somewhere that could use some dusting off. There's a man who died for all our sins that hanging from the cross, you can give your life to Jesus and he give you a second chance to.
Brian Harrison: You can.
Jeff Chamblee: Take it if you got a chance. Take it, take it while you got a chance if you got a dream.
Jenna Ellis: All right? And it was. It was fantastic. I did tune into this and, loved it. It was so American, patriotic, and also full of the truth of the Gospel of Christ.
John Amanchukwu: Bad Bunny's performance at Super Bowl halftime was disgusting
So let's welcome in John Amanchukwu, who is a preacher, author, and also a part of TPUSA faith. So John I thought this was, this was totally a wonderful presentation and, way more a grand slam home run than Bad Bunny.
John Amanchukwu: By all means. You know, Kid Rock did a phenomenal job in bringing forth the gospel, compelling people to read their Bibles, putting forth true, American values that we all can espouse to, Now, when it comes to Bad Bunny, I'm not a part of the group that says, I'm against Bad Bunny because he's Puerto Rican. I'm against Bad Bunny because he speaks Spanish. I'm against Bad Bunny because he's a Puerto Rican, who speaks Spanish that cross dresses. I'm against Bad Bunny because, he put a scene in the halftime show last night for kids to see of two men gyrating on themselves. That's why I'm against them. I have nothing against Puerto Ricans or Puerto Rican culture. You know, everyone wants to embrace their culture. But I do have something against Bad Bunny. Burning the American flag. And then given the chance to get the big stage at the super bowl and to come and perform in a language that's unintelligible to most Americans, I'm against that. Now, Puerto Rico is a part of America. It's a commonwealth. they're not allowed to vote in presidential elections, and they do it. But they do have representation in Congress that's non voting. But I think that we need to call out the evil of what took place yesterday. and then also we need to consider that in 2025-2026, there were about 47 players of Hispanic or Latino heritage on NFL teams. That's roughly 2.7 to 2.8% of the league out of 600 out of 1696 players. And so why are we platforming, Bad Bunny knowing his views are off, knowing that most Americans won't understand what he has to say. And then Hispanics only make up a small percentage of the NFL in the first place. We got it wrong. But thank God that Turning Point USA has pioneered the space again. And, 6.2 million people were watching live. That's amazing.
Jenna Ellis: That's really, absolutely incredible.
Jenna Ellis: And you're right.
Jenna Ellis: I mean, there are so many reasons to object to Bad Bunny's performance. And it has nothing to do with the fact that, you know, that he's Puerto Rican or he speaks Spanish. he should have, in my opinion, be singing in English. I mean, this is the National Football League. This isn't, you know, this isn't the Olympics where you have, you know, it made sense that, that people in, Milan Cortina were singing in Italian because, guess what? They're actually proud of their country and their heritage. Why is it that everybody, John, can celebrate their culture and be proud of their flag except Americans?
John Amanchukwu: It's because we've gone woke. You know, people are cosplaying and virtue signaling. even look at the Olympics. You see all the brats, the spoiled American brats that get over there who are supposed to be representing America, but they're complaining about American culture, and they're doing the whole woke thing and going against, ICE and celebrating LGBTQ and talking about the hardships thereof. I mean, it's just disgusting. You know, I strongly feel that America, Americans should take that platform and do what's best for our country. America is the greatest country on the face of the planet. The American idea is something that people are willing to risk their lives to obtain. You know, people are not fighting, to get out of America. They're fighting to get in. They're risking their lives to get here by any means necessary. And the people who are born here and who are citizens, we are the ones who are saying that, no, we don't like this country. We hate it. Burn the flag, reject our culture. it's just a sad travesty and a blot upon Western civilization, and we have to speak against it. And the NFL failed.
Jenna Ellis: Yeah, the NFL has been failing for a while, by not choosing what is pro American. they're not telling their own athletes. I mean, there's been this controversy for a while when they were kneeling, during the national anthem. And then also the other controversy that people aren't talking about enough, in my opinion, John Amanchukwu, is that the, NFL, in addition to playing the actual national anthem, they played what's been hailed as, you know, the. The black national anthem, you know, a different song. And that's so representative of such a small segment. It's like, why do we have. We not just have the one national anthem for everyone? Right. And it's just on purpose to create that segregation among. You know, there. There are the minorities, specifically, you know, the. The people that they claim are continually, systematically oppressed. And then there's everybody else, and it's on purpose trying to bring an element of Marxism and a false worldview into a sporting event.
John Amanchukwu: I agree with that 100%. There's only one national anthem that should be performed, rendered, and. And it's the American national anthem. And so, I speak against that all the time. I don't Want a separate national, anthem, you know, Lift Every Voice and Sing was a poem written in 1900 by James Weldon Johnson in honor of President Abraham Lincoln on his birthday. When it became a song, the music was composed by his brother, John Rosamond Johnson. James Weldon Johnson intended it to be a song of unity, not division. He called his song a national hymn. Years later, the NAACP adopted it as the Negro national anthem. That's where the problem comes in. And the song is now being performed as the black national anthem in addition to the Star Spangled Banner. You know, as we learned with Jim Crow laws of the 19th and 20th centuries, separate is not equal. As the Supreme Court said. Blm m and the woke left are intentionally dividing us and misappropriating the original intent of this monumental song. It was originally written as a hymn, not as an anthem. And so the naacp, you know, an organization that used to be about the advancement of colored people, but it's now solely about the advancement of queer people, is now using songs like this to divide us in America. And as a black man, 41 years running as a black man, I am vehemently against it.
Jenna Ellis: Well said. Preach it my brother. I'm talking to John Amon Shukwu, who is a preacher and an author and also is part of Turning Point USA Faith, who had this really amazing alternative all American halftime show, that was far better to tune into than any of this woke nonsense of the NFL. but John, you know, it seems, seems to me as well that when we look at why all things American, our flag, our nation, our national anthem, you know, anything that is patriotic, toward toward America, that's the only thing that the left, doesn't tolerate. And they're fine with any other culture, any other, you know, representation. They're fine with other nations being patriotic and proud. And the reason for that I think is because the left knows that America is, was founded on the Judeo Christian worldview that we are a Christian nation in terms of our morality, our laws and our ethics. And that is implicit and actually explicit in the Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution. And even though we have strayed far from that, with our, with you know, our government, the fact remains that our nation is required by our own laws and our highest law of the land to have an ordered system that recognizes God our creator, the God of the Bible, and that our rights are pre political and come from him. And we, the only legitimate laws in our civil society must reflect that reality. And Truth. And I think that that fundamentally is what the left objects to, because when they see our nation's flag, they understand that that is actually a symbol of the truth and of the Christian worldview. And they.
John Amanchuk: America was founded upon Judeo Christian principles
They will tolerate anything else, any other false worldview. They simply will not tolerate the truthful, accurate, biblical worldview.
John Amanchukwu: Yes, we see that take place all the time. But this is. This is just a page out of, Marxism and communism. in order for Marxism to thrive, there must be division. This is why people try to keep alive the divisions between black people and white people. it always has to be the rich versus the poor. It's the, vaxed versus the unvaxed. It's the straight versus the lgbtq. Just, Just wholesale division. Let's divide us and let's, resist the foundation of America. You know, there are people today who get angry and they purport that they are Christians. When you talk about the fact that America was founded upon Judeo Christian principles, there are people who are. Who hate Israel so much, which, if you hate Israel, you hate your Bible. The Bible says, pray for the peace of Israel. They will prosper that love thee. I believe that the blessedness of America is directly tied to how we treat, Israel, how we respond to Israel. Does that mean that Israel is perfect? Does it mean that we shouldn't scrutinize their government? No, it doesn't mean that. But the Bible is true in what it says. And so for these individuals who want to, reposition the founding of our country, they're wrong. 55 of the signers of the Declaration of Independence were Christians. You know, many of them believe that the most formidable textbook that we should even teach in the public school system was the Bible. And we've drifted away from that. So much so that we've gone from prayer to porn in the public school system. We've gone from prayer to transgenderism. We're going from prayer to metal detectors. We have to get back in right, position with the God of the Bible so that we can continue to receive the favor of the God of the Bible. And the Bible says, blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.
Jenna Ellis: Amen. And amen. And, you know, this is why I really love what, TPUSA faith is doing. And, coming back to the principles and the truth of the word of God, the truth of our founding, the truth of reality. And, this was just an incredible, alternative to the woke Marxist nonsense and, you know, the lies of the left. So in just the last minute or so we have with you John Amanchuku, and you can follow him on X. Also Turning Point, tp, USA Faith. What is upcoming, for you and for tpusa, faith that we can follow along with and pray for.
John Amanchukwu: Well, most of all, I have a master class that's going to release by the end of this month. It's actually live right now, but I'm going to do a official launch by the end of this month and you can go to inogod Us to find it. Inogod Us. I have a master class out, that teaches parents how to reclaim schools and communities. It points out the diabolical tentacles of critical race theory, gender theory, queer theory, all those woke ideologies and or terms that have crept into the public school system. And also trains parents on how to coalesce and build networks, how to create a numbering system so you can vote out your most woke, school board leader. And if you want to run for a school board, it also trains you on how to do that. And so you can get that masterclass at Inogod US. It's Inogod US. I'll be traveling to 10 states this year speaking at school board meetings. So the fight continues.
Jenna Ellis: Amazing. Well, you are one of the best fighters that we have and I know that, Charlie was so grateful to have you and, I'm so grateful that we're in this fight together. So thank you so much, John Amanchukwu, and keep, up the good work. We will be right back with more here on Jenna Ellis in the Morning.
Texas State Rep. Jean Wu made comments advocating white genocide against whites
: welcome back to Jenna Ellis in the Morning on American Family Radio.
Jenna Ellis: Welcome back. Well, the Marxist, false leftist worldview is alive and well, not just in sporting events or the arts in America, but also in elected office. And this is utterly ridiculous. So Texas State Rep. Jean Wu, who of course is a Democrat, said this. Non whites share the same oppressor and we are the majority now. We can take over this country. Listen to what he actually said.
Speaker F: I always tell people, the day the Latino, African American, Asian and other communities realize that they share the same oppressor is the day we start winning. Because we are the majority in this country now. We have the ability to take over this country and to do what is needed for everyone and to make things fair. But the problem is our communities are divided. They're completely divided.
Jenna Ellis: So this is basically advocacy for white genocide, is utterly inappropriate for anyone, but much less, an elected official on the state level. And I'll say it again, one of the last guardrails in our system is is actually, that is actually working is the founders insistence on a born citizen president. But that requirement should apply to every federal and state office because loyalty to our nation matters. And if we insisted on that same rule for every office, we would not have a Representative Gene Wu in Texas. He's not a born citizen. We wouldn't have Ilhan Omar, we wouldn't have you know, a lot of these, some Republicans as well, but we wouldn't have a lot of these Democrats that have different priorities over loyalty to America. We wouldn't have a communist, Ugandan mayor, who who is not a born citizen in NewSong York City right now either. So that's my big advocacy point. But let's welcome in Texas State Rep. Brian Harrison. And Brian, this is just really inappropriate for a sitting state representative to say and advocate for.
Brian Harrison: Well, it's absolutely outrageous. but always great. Ah, to be with you Jenna, to discuss something. Although I wish it was a more pleasant topic. and I'll tell you Jenna, I mean you may be the first national media outlet that's going to hear what I'm about to tell you. This story, this scandal is so much worse than the national media even understands right now, even in conservative circles. I'm actually, in a weird way I'm glad that America is seeing this clip and that it's going viral right now. But what a lot of folks don't understand is this is very emblematic of the larger problems of how corrupted even Republican red state legislatures and governments have become. So Jean Woo, the guy who effectively made these comments, I mean arguably promoting genocide against whites, talking about oppressors versus the oppressed, which is of course the core of DEI in this Marxist ideology. He didn't make these comments this week. Gene Wu, my colleague in the Texas House made those comments in 2024. Okay, so for two years this is the kind of stuff that people like me know he's saying. Okay, but after he made these comments, after Jean Wu was part of the coalition that elected the so called Republican leadership team in the Texas House. Jean Wu is not some irrelevant backbencher Democrat that has no role in the Texas government. Gene Wu was central to the election of the speaker of the Texas House. Gene Wu is the chairman, the official chairman of the House Democrat Caucus. And as a result, as a reward for helping to elect our Republican speaker over the will of the majority of Republicans in the Texas House, he was rewarded. And as we speak, Jenna, Jean Wu is A powerful member of the House leadership team. He was appointed to twice the number of committees that conservative Republicans get to get to serve on. He is the vice chairman. Prepare yourself. Gene Wu, the guy who arguably just called for genocide against whites, is the vice chairman of the Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence, meaning all criminal law has to go through Jean Wu in the Texas House, as we speak. And by the way, he broke quorum to stop our redistricting efforts. He was never punished, for that. And because of that, these types of ideologies are being funded through the, in the Texas government. The Texas government has been funding radical leftist, Marxist, m. Progressive ideology for many, many years. That's why I was on the crusade and got the president of Texas A and M fired when they were promoting transgenderism. But I'm going to say this, I'm not going to mince words. I don't know why Jean Wu, after this has become at least a national story and now America is looking. Why in the world has Jean Wu not been stripped of his committee chairmanships? Why has the speaker of the Texas House not removed him from his leadership positions? And, and here's the dirty little secret. Because the speaker of the Texas House was elected by Gene Wu and his cohorts on the, Democrat, House caucus. And this problem goes so much deeper, even in red states than people realize. So in a very weird way, I'm glad that America is seeing these types of disgusting, incendiary comments, but we need some action. We need some corrective action. He needs to be stripped of all of his leadership positions. And that should happen. That should have happened over the weekend, but it needs to happen now.
Jenna Ellis: It does. And Brian Harrison, I'm so glad that you gave that history and that background and this clip, you know, as it is going viral now, you're right, that nobody is talking about. And I didn't know that this was, you know, back, you know, back that far ago, this appeared to be. Just because it's now being highlighted across social media, something that is recent. But, you know, the, the truth of, of all of this that is so frustrating is that, you know, people look from the outside, look at Texas, or they look at, you know, states like Florida, my home state, and they say, oh, you know, you're a really deep red Republican state and unless you get into the weeds on what is actually going on in the state legislatures and you see how like in Texas, and you've been saying this for a while, you and a couple of your Republican colleagues have you know, kind of been sounding the alarm that even though it's Republican, it's really Republican in name only. Because the Republicans are putting the Democrats in leadership positions they have for a long time. And Democrats like Gene Wu have a lot of power and authority in Texas that they shouldn't. Because, last I checked, you have a Republican majority.
Brian Harrison: Right. But, but what happened, and this is, I know it's mind boggling. And after I, when I got elected, nothing could have prepared me for the shock of learning how corrupt the Republican government in Texas is. The establishment. Because Republicans make up the majority in the Texas House. But what people don't understand is what's going on is a handful of fake Republicans if they team up with the Democrat caucus, well, now that's actually the new majority. So even though our speaker in Texas has the letter R by his name, our Republican speaker, the Republican dominated Texas House of Representatives was actually the candidate of the Jean Woo led. Jean Wu chaired Texas House Democrat caucus. Jean Wu, the person going viral for pushing this suppressor nonsense and arguably, calling for genocide against white people, was the chairman of the House Democrat caucus that put up as their candidate for speaker and won the speaker of the Texas House. And as a result, he currently holds multiple powerful important positions in the official leadership team in the Republican dominated Texas House of Representatives. And this trickles down to policy. Democrats get to write our budget. In the state of Texas, the Texas budget funded DEI and DEI programs at record levels in Texas. It funded transgender indoctrination in almost every public university in the state of Texas and in the state of Texas for many, many years. Now. People are shocked to learn this oppressor versus, oppressed nonsense that's trickled down into government contracting. And the Texas government has been spending billions and billions of dollars awarding and requiring state agencies to award contracts not on the basis of price or ability or meritocracy or excellence, but on the basis of race, on the basis of gender. This has been going on. Texas taxpayers have been forced to fund government contracts that were based on race and skin color and gender for many, many years. And you're right, Texas. I love the state of Texas. I'm a native Texas. We've got this reputation for liberty and small government and low regulations and conservative values. But people have got to wake up. it is not good enough anymore just to trust that if people have an R where they call themselves a Republican, that they're actually fighting for the principles of the founding, the principles that made America great. The principles that made Texas great.
Brian Harrison: The corruption of so called elected Republicans across the country
And we're going to lose our state and we're going to lose our nation if people don't get a little bit more, engaged. And that's why I'm so grateful, Jenna, to you and your show and your network. You go beyond the surface and get down to the meat of the issue. And that's what's going on down here. The corruption of so called elected Republicans, not just in Texas, but across the country. When Democrats have power, they make no excuse, no apologies, nothing will stop them towards achieving their socialist ends. It's about time that Republicans, especially Republicans in Texas, start realizing the stakes here. We're in a battle for the future of Western civilization. And I think Texas should be on the front lines of that battle.
Jenna Ellis: Amen. And I completely agree with you, Brian Harrison, because this is important. It's not enough to just say, well, oh, look, there's a majority of Republicans, so great, they're always going to vote the right ways. I mean, this is, this is a parallel problem that we're experiencing here in the state of Florida as well, with a speaker that is not actually really that Republican in terms of conservative, ah, priorities. And even though we have a super majority in Florida, they still, so often vote against the priorities of conservatives and against Governor DeSantis. And Florida should be leading the way, just like Texas should lead the way. And it's also a parallel of what's happening on the national level as well with Congress, where, you know, last I checked again, you know, we have a trifecta where we have the president, the Congress and the Senate, and yet so often we see Republicans voting with.
Jenna Ellis: Democrats, but we never see that in blue states.
Jenna Ellis: We never see like, oh, wow, look at California and NewSong York. You know, they're, they're, Democrat controlled. But you know, those Democrats, man, they vote with Republicans a lot of the time. And they're going against Gavin Newsom and his ridiculous priorities. We never see that. Why is it that Republicans can't grow a spine and actually stand up for the conservative values that they purport to represent?
Brian Harrison: Now, isn't it pretty amazing? our country seems to be chocked full of Rhinos and Republicans in name only, but the Dinos appear to be extinct. You know, Democrats in name only. There are no fake Democrats. It's just fake Republicans all over the place. And here's the thing. Texas is not often talked about as a, swing state or a battleground state, but I'll be really clear. Texas, I would argue, is the ultimate battleground state. It's the ultimate swing state. I think Texas is the crown jewel in the left's plan to ultimately take over this country. And thanks to the phenomenal work of Governor Ron DeSantis in Florida, people don't talk about Florida as much of a swing state either anymore. But to be really clear, if the left, and if the Democrats take Florida, and especially if they take Texas, we're never going to have a conservative in the White House again. We're never, ever going to have a Republican, coalition that could govern possibly ever again. And the left can take over. Here's what your viewers need to understand or listeners. And I think your audience is very sophisticated. They probably do. The left can win. And what they're learning now is they don't have to elect Democrats to, office to succeed. They can elect, they can have people who are leftists, big government, progressive socialists. But they've learned now don't run them in red states like Republican in Florida as Democrats. Get them to find people who have lower profiles but, are committed to the left ideology, get them to run in the Republican primary, tell the voters they're a conservative Republican, and then once they get in office, they collude with the radical Democrats. They promised on the campaign trail they would fight to destroy liberty for the next generation of Texans and the next generation of Americans. And that exact scenario has been happening down here in Texas, in, my body, the Texas House of representatives, for almost 20 years, ever since a handful of 11 rhinos figured out they could team up with the Democrat caucus and take over the Texas government. That's what we've been living with for almost two decades down here.
Jenna Ellis: Yeah, and, and it's just so frustrating that, you know, so many people, it seems like a lot of the voters just see the R behind the name and they think, oh, this person will fight for my priorities. Or they see, you know, the person who goes on national media the most, has the most name id, you know, like here in Florida. that person would be Byron Donalds. I mean, he may not, always go with some of the Democrat priorities he has in terms of being, you know, soft on crime, a few other things we could go into. But, but if you're not going to stand up and fight for conservative priorities and actually advance, those priorities forward, then all you're doing is barely defending if that. And we're seeing so many of those, people who are trying to get into or have been in place in, places like Texas for far too long. So what's the solution. I mean, obviously, you know, voting them out or not voting them in, but it seems like, that more and more people need to actually be aware of what's going on in these red states. When they're saying they're seeing the evidence and they're seeing what's going on and they're saying, well, why is that? Because we have Republicans in office. But they're not necessarily connecting the dots.
Brian Harrison: Well, yeah, I mean, I think they need to elect, you know, leaders who are willing to stand against the tide, to go against the flow. And I say this all the time. When you're holding high government position, appointed or elected, you have to make a choice. You can either, be popular in the swamp or you can fight for the freedom and liberty of the next generation. I tell people all the time, if you're not, if you're an elected official and you're not being attacked by the left wing media, if you're not being attacked by the bureaucrats, you know, you're probably not being very effective. And then for the voters, and I hate to ask the voters who have already done their jobs, you've made sure the Republicans hold majorities in your states. You know, if you're in Texas or if you're in Florida or wherever, I'm going to have to ask you to dig a little deeper, do a little bit more research. Because, you're right. You cannot just assume that because somebody calls himself a Republican, they're a conservative. And it's been. Republicans in Texas have been funding DEI and transgenderism. And in fact, in the primaries they're working very hard. I mean, the establishment down here as we speak, we've got a primary three weeks away. The Republican establishment is trying to take me out. I have two just nominally Republican opponents running against me, well funded right now, who have openly advocated to tear down the border wall. My Republican opponents have been funding the radical Democrats, who are pro abortion. One of my opponents has been lobbying. My Republican opponent has officially been lobbying the entire Texas government to allow men to be able to continue to go in bathrooms of little girls in public schools by opposing bathroom privacy bills and that sort of thing. You know, these are people that support pornography, taxpayer funded pornography in schools. I'm talking about my current Republican opponents. And it's, not just my race. This is happening in hundreds of races all across Texas, all across the country, where Democrats, radical leftists, have learned they can't win in blue states if they identify as a Democrat, but if they put themselves on a Republican primary ballot and lie to voters for four or five months and get some money, they can get elected and they can can enact the progressive agenda without ever having to sort of self identify as a Democrat. So, so do your own research. If a candidate can't point to discreet, you know, obvious, granular, obvious examples of where they have fought to shrink government to lower regulations, lower taxes, stand up against establishment.
