May it be so. well, look, we've got a lot of things to talk about. I'm going to be taking your calls a little bit later on, so please get ready for that. I'm going to cover about three topics, but you can feel free to bring up anything you want to bring up.
First thing I want to deal with is this Brown University shooting
First thing I want to deal with is this Brown University shooting. I've been watching the news on that, and I don't know whether you paid any attention to it, but, you know, this is like the Keystone Cops. And I'm not referring to the law enforcement officers who are serving that community. I'm referring to this school administrator, the president of the college. apparently whatever security they have on the campus, it's been laughable. Five days out, they still haven't found this guy. Now, you may or may not know this, because initially we were hearing they have cameras all over the campus. Well, now we know that many of those cameras are antiquated. they are. They are very unclear. They. They don't do a very good job of. Of showing, what they're supposed to be showing. And so, you know, I mean, they've got some pictures of the guy, but they could have had a lot more. Apparently, the perimeter of the campus is not covered. Brown university has an $8 billion endowment. Not. Not m. 8 billion dollar endowment. And now that means folks that they've got that money sitting in the bank. That's before they collect a single dime of tuition. That's before they receive any kind of Government grants. They've got 8 billion sitting in the bank. They use the interest off that money and try not to touch the principal. But the interest off that money produces anywhere from about 350 million to about $800 million a year. They've been earning on average 10 to 12% on that money. So that money is producing for them anywhere from, without touching the principal, anywhere from 300 million or, 350 million to about $800 million a year. That's before a dime of tuition is collected. You know, it strikes me that these universities, I had someone say to me not too long ago, we were talking about, you know, where, where to give your money, where to, to, fulfill your charitable impulses. And the person was saying, I stopped giving scholarships. I don't give money for scholarships unless I know specifically who the student is, what the student is doing, where the student is going. She said, because I'm not giving my money for scholarship. To have it used to indoctrinate some student and turn him against God, against his country, against his family or her. And, I'm just not doing it. You know, these universities, Brown is, by the way, Ivy League. Brown is supposed to be one of the elite universities in the country. they can do everything except what they're supposed to do. I mean, they can certainly indoctrinate kids to hate their country, they can certainly turn them into Marxists, they can certainly turn them into sexual deviants, convince them that transgenderism and homosexuality and all that is a great thing, but they can't manage to educate them and apparently they can't keep them secure. Brown University is a, no gun zone. The entire campus is a no gun zone. A gun free zone. But apparently the shooter didn't get the memo. And this is what passes for our elite universities. Ah, folks, these people are dumb, they really are. Because they have their head so far into the Ivy League rarefied air that they're frankly of no practical use. Their second responsibility, in addition to educating these children on, to be these young people, these students, ought to be keeping them safe. Okay, now that doesn't mean that no matter what you do, somebody can't slip in and do something bad, something wrong. But my goodness gracious, you ought to make it hard for them and you ought to make it difficult for them to get away with it. One of the security people apparently, who the shooter walked by his car was asked, well, did you get video footage? Because the cars are supposed to be equipped with, video cams. Did you get, any footage of this guy going by your car. The answer was, I don't know. You don't know. I'll tell you, folks, you, parents, you, grandparents out there, choose the school you send your children to very, very prayerfully. Because if this is what passes for the elite institutions of our country, well, I shudder for the future of America. I really do, folks. I really do. If these are the people going to be in positions of influence and power and exercising control over the institutions of our country, they're being trained by these idiots, and I tell you. but at any rate, we need to pray, obviously. Forgive me, folks, but pray for the, for the victims, families and all the people who have been affected and injured by this. But I'll tell you, I think it's appropriate to be angry over what I consider to be the incompetence and the lack of, frankly, the lack of diligence and vigilance about the safety and security of their student body. But, you know, as I've said many times before, these leftists really don't care about people. What they care about is power. That's really what drives them. It's not. They try to cloak what they say and compassion and all that, but there's no compassion for people there. This is all about power and control, Having a perspective on life that you believe you are supposed to impose on everyone else. They accuse us of doing that, but actually we are persuaders, not imposers, because we know that if a person's heart does not get right with God, there's nothing we can do for them anyway. So imposing on someone is a waste of time. And as far as imposing our worldview and our moral principles upon our government, no, we are doing simply what every citizen in a free nation is supposed to do, which is participate in the process of developing the policies and the practices and the, and the laws that govern the people. Every law reflects someone's values, someone's perception, someone's worldview of the difference between right and wrong. And the question is, whose perception? Whose worldview is it going to be? You remember the days when they said, well, you can't legislate morality. All legislation is moral. That's why it's. There is to say, you can do this, you can't do that. Well, why not? Because somebody finds it inherently wrong to do this or inherently wrong to not do that. And, so it becomes enshrined in law as something that you can be penalized for, in one way or another for failure to adhere to that principle that reflects somebody's view of what is morally right and what is morally wrong. It is in the nature of the case. The question is, whose view? When a city council passes a law that says the school is not allowed to tell a parent about a child's, gender dysphoria and can keep that a secret from the parent, and that that is the policy, and a teacher will be punished, even if the teacher wants to or tries to reveal this to the parent. That is a moral decision, but it's the wrong one. It reflects the skewed, perverse morality of godless people. So all laws, all legislation is going to reflect somebody's morality. We want them to reflect the Judeo Christian values that this country was based upon. But anyway, enough. I just wanted to point that out. So let's be praying for those families that have been affected, and I pray that Americans would get a revelation. Don't send your children to some of these godless institutions that not only will ruin them educationally, but potentially put their lives at risk because of their inability or unwillingness to do what is needed to take care of the safety and security of those kids because they're too busy with other things, they've got another agenda.
Joseph Parker says Vanity Fair piece on Susie Wiles is a hit piece
The second thing I want to mention is this Susie Wiles Vanity Fair, debacle. apparently this Vanity Fair piece is a hit piece on Susie Wiles and mainly on Donald Trump. First thing I'd say is, I don't read Vanity Fair, I don't subscribe to Vanity Fair, I don't care what Vanity Fair thinks. and I'm not interested in what they have to say about Susie Wiles or about President Trump. Now Trump's cabinet is rallying around her and beside her and standing up for her and saying, you know, this is a hit piece. and I don't doubt at all that it is. But I would raise this question, why in the world would any member of the Trump administration give Vanity Fair a shot at you? I mean, you might as well hand them a straight razor and bare your throat. You know, when I ran for lieutenant governor and in, Virginia, and had the press all over me about comments I'd made about homosexuality, nothing vulgar and nothing profane, just basically biblical worldview stuff. This is my view. This is sin, this is wrong. this is not good for people. It's not good for society. The people who engage in this and live this way are not healthy, are not happy, are not good, that they are morally sick and so forth. Well, you know, they conjured all that up and they resurrected. You know, look at, look at how he's homophobic. He's, you know, and everywhere I went that's, that's what they tried to dog me with. Well, I talked to my campaign manager at the time, about what is going on and what we might do to try to cure the situation. And he said something to me that I never forgot. And I don't think I really understood it up until he sort of drove this point home. And this is what he said to me. He said, you don't understand. They don't just disagree with you or even dislike you. They hate you. They hate you. They want to destroy you because they hate you. And, you know, I stepped back for a moment and thought, wow, is it really that deep? Yes, it is. See, because we don't hate them now. we hate what they do and we hate their views, but we don't hate them. I mean, I just, it's just not, we're, as Christians, we're just not wired for that. And I thought back when I was first beginning to be in the public eye, this is back in Massachusetts, and I ended up, doing an interview with, two anchors for, I think the ABC News affiliate. it was Natalie, I think it was Brett and Natalie Jacobson. I will never forget it. And you know, at the end of the interview, it struck me they didn't like me, but I couldn't figure out why. I'm thinking, well, did I say something wrong? Did I do something wrong? It took me a while to realize they didn't like me because they knew I was conservative and they were liberal and they had no use for liberals, even though they claimed to be so enamored of black people. Not if you have the wrong ideology. This is Bishop E.W. jackson in for Abraham Hamilton III here on the Hamilton corner. Stand by. Be back in a moment. Hm.

What are some of the battles that our children are dealing with
>> Joseph Parker: What are some of the battles that our children are dealing with? Why is it so important that we're equipping them to be warrior minded in their world and in their circumstances as well? Some might say, well, children are young, let them grow up. Well, the fact is, sadly, some children never get to grow up because the world is such a dangerous, tragic place in so many ways. What are some of the battlefields our children and youth deal with? Bullying and dealing with bullying, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, and the list could go on and on. Parents, a very wise strategy, a kingdom strategy, and a, spiritual warfare strategy is figure out a way to motivate your child and have them to begin to read the Word of God to you every day out loud as something we've mentioned before. Having your child read daily is a great way to begin to instill the eternal word of God in the minds and hearts of our children. That's a very important battle strategy for every parent.

The left have been claiming Tea Party is a bunch of racist
look, the press hates our guts and I don't know that Susan Wiles did not know that. I'm not sure what her thinking was and I'm not being critical. I'm really just asking the question because, I can imagine exactly, or what, how she was approached, because I was approached the same way by news outlets from time to time. I mean, I. The last interview I did with msnbc, the Marxist Socialist no Brains Channel, they've now changed their name to msn. I guess now it's just the Marxist Socialist Network, or the Marxist Socialist Nincompoops or nutcases. but at any rate, they wanted to interview me and talk about the Tea Party. Well, you know, they were. The left have been claiming Tea Party is a bunch of racist, they're angry white people, blah, blah, blah, blah. I spoke at the first Tea Party meeting, one of the first Tea Party meetings ever held. when it kicked off on, April 15, 2009. I was there at the rally and spoke and spoke many times for the, Tea Party. One of the finest group of people you ever want to meet. I mean, just wonderful people, treated me wonderfully. I mean, think about any races or racism, non sense. But when they did the interview, they got some B roll to put behind me and they conjured up every racist image they could find, whether they were Tea Party people or not, you know, flying the Confederate flag and, you know, Ku Klux Klan, all of it. As I'm defending the Tea Party, they're showing this stuff behind me as if to say, this is what the Tea Party is. Look at this idiot. He's, he's defending these people. And, and I didn't realize, believe it or not, I didn't know they were showing that B roll behind me until, until somebody told me. And then I went and looked at my. I think my wife, taped the interview. I went and looked at it and thought to myself, boy, you know, now that was, that's just pure evil. Because they weren't honest with me at all they didn't tell me what they were really doing. But the point was not to interview me. The point was to discredit me, to make me look like a complete idiot and to make the Tea Party look like complete racists. And here I am defending them. But look at the images behind them. That's what. Who they really are. Well, that was a lie. That's not who they really were. They, I don't know where they got these images from. They conjured them up from somewhere or maybe, picked and chose something here or there that maybe they could find some anomaly. Because, the Tea Party rallies I went to. If you came to the Tea Party rally, you were flying a Confederate flag or had anything racist, they asked you to leave, you had to go. Because it wasn't about that. And frankly, the Tea Party started out focused on our, our nation's fiscal health. We weren't even really dealing with a lot of social issues. So maybe, maybe Susie Wiles is a little naive about this, because I'll tell you, I was. I told you. When I first started out and did my first interview with two people, Chet and Natalie Jacobson, on the ABC affiliate in Boston, I walked away trying to understand why they seem to dislike me so much. Because, because it was hostile. And I'm thinking, did I do something to them? Because I was a young Christian conservative who didn't understand the level of hostility, in the mainstream media.
>> Bishop EW Jackson: You know, the name slips my mind. But, but, but the son of one of the top, news editors of, I don't know, 30, 40 years ago, Ben, Ben Bradley. Ben Bradley, that's right. It was Ben Bradley. His son came to my church to interview me. And it was always the same. Oh, yeah, we want to give you a perspective. We want to be fair to you. We want to. No, they didn't. No, they wanted to do a hit piece on you, and what they wanted was your complicity. And so they lied to you and pretend that they really wanted to just help people see you for who you really are and, and, do a fair piece and show your humanity. And. No, they want to paint you into a monster. And they want to. They want people to hate your guts, and they want people to believe that you are the scourge of the earth. They hate us. So I'm not quite sure what, what they thought they were going to get out of Vanity Fair, but I'm sure that was the approach that was taken. Oh, yeah, we, we really want to show the human side. We really don't believe you've gotten a fair shake. We, we don't think that people have really seen you and, and seen the. We want you to give us that perspective. We want, I'm sure that they just basically poured on the honey knowing that there was a barb in it, a poison pill. So, I don't know. Look, it's irrelevant to me. It's irrelevant to the administration, and I trust that it hasn't hurt her because people know that she was ambushed. A lot of stuff that she said taken out of context and all of that. so I don't know whether she has no experience dealing with the press, and I'm not sure who advised her, who told her that that was worth taking. but she probably just got caught up in Vanity Fair, and they want to interview me. And this is going to be a nice piece. It's going to be a feature. This is going to be a feature story. Yeah. Featuring the monster that they have conjured up in the wickedness of their own minds. Okay, well, last, when we come back, next, segment, I want to start taking your calls. The number is 888-589-8840. That's 888-589-8840.
Most people expect the president's speech tonight to be primarily about the economy
but the last thing I want to talk about before we get to that is the president's speech tonight, because the president's coming on at 9pm he's going to give a speech. Most people expect the speech to be primarily about the economy, although he may talk about his plans for Venezuela and what he's doing there. and so I won't try to second guess or preempt the president. I think he is very, very serious about enforcing, these oil embargoes and restrictions. And I don't think he's going to let this thug Maduro get away with anything. I don't think we're going to war down there or anything, but I think the president is letting the world know, letting him know and letting the world know we mean business. You remember when, Obama drew a red line in Syria and said the use of chemical weapons is a red line and we would, we would take action and he used chemical weapons. And Obama just basically, you know, did the same same old song and dance, you know, little effete, kind of, you know, avoidance of the issues. I mean, well, though, that all that does is convey weakness, and invite conflict. Weakness invites conflict. President Trump is letting the world know you may not like me and maybe I'm not the kind of President, you think I ought to be, but I'm here to defend the interests of my country, and I'm not weak at it. Don't try to play me because you're going to get hurt. I think the president is just. Look, the president is just really going street on them and letting them know, you know, I am not to be trifled with. And the United States of America is not to be trifled with, and I will not put up with it. You will not ship drugs into our country and kill our people without consequence. And you better believe the cartels, China, Russia, everybody is taking notice. Good for him. on the economy, which he may talk about, like I said tonight. Look, I don't know. And you, when you call in number, again, 888-589-8840. When you call in, you can tell me how you're doing economically and how you feel the economy is doing to you or what the economy is doing to you.
>> Bishop EW Jackson: I would say this. We are moving in the right direction. Are we there yet? No, but look, folks, 39 states now have gasoline. It's under $3 a gallon. Do you remember when under Biden, it was $5 a gallon? I remember filling up my tank during the Biden era when, when, when he had basically just dumped all of this paper money, printed all this money and dumped it into the economy like a tidal wave, and in it washed, driving up the price of everything because you had too many dollars taste chasing too few goods. And we all paid the price. And the pump was one of the first places we, we noticed it. But those gas prices are down significantly now. Drug prices are down. the private sector is gaining jobs, and those jobs are going to Americans as opposed to under Biden. Those jobs are primarily going to foreigners. And the public sector is down jobs. Private sector up 121,000. Public sector down 168,000. Too many people working for the government. I would only make this footnote, Mr. President. Please disperse the bureaucrats of Northern Virginia across the land and get them, out of our blessed commonwealth because these people are ruining Virginia. These Washington, D.C. bureaucrats living in Virgin in Northern Virginia are ruining our state because they're skewed. They're turning it into, they're trying to turn it into the Marxist state. And look, purchasing power has increased in the, in the less than a year that Trump has been in office. the buying power of the average family has gone up by a thousand dollars. Under Biden. It went down, I think, by about $2,800, maybe more. I know it went down. I think it was $2,800 that went down. So this year coming up, we're going to no tax on tips. We're going to have the standard deduction doubled for those people who don't file the long form. I filed a long form, so I have to document all of my deductions. But people who don't file the law form, you're going to, you're going to have a doubled standard deduction. This is all part of the big beautiful bill. if, when all of this money from tariffs, from investments in America begin to come into our country, as I believe they will in 2026, I think we're going to see, economic renaissance, folks. And remember when you get all those jobs coming into the country and people competing for them, you know what that's going to do? That's going to drive wages up. It's going to be, people going to be, need to be paid more because there's more competition for the labor. So that's the economy. I think that the president can acknowledge that the job is not yet done, but we made a lot of progress and we're moving in the right direction. Not to mention, aside from that, I mean, this has been the most peace initiating president in not only in my lifetime, I think, in the history of the country. I mean, this president is on the war path for peace, if you will, if you'll figure, if you'll forgive that little mixed metaphor there. But he, he is, he is really out to bring peace into this world and God bless him for it. All this trans stuff, particularly in the military and our, our schools, he has certainly slowed that down. And in the military sort of put a complete halt to it just to put a stop to it. Because again, it's all utterly ridiculous for people in the military to have to be walking on eggshells over which pronoun they use. And this guy used to be a man, this woman used to be a guy. And what, I mean, it's, it's just ridiculous. These people are charged with defending our lives, defending our sovereignty, putting their lives on the line, shedding, their blood and perhaps having to kill other human beings who pose a threat to our safety and security as Americans. And, and you got them all caught up in guys wearing dresses and women wearing men's clothes. I mean, doing seminars where they have to learn about, they have to, they have to find sensitivity. Give me a break. You know, Rush Limbaugh used to famously say, the military's role is to kill people and break things. Now, you know, that's pretty crude, but that's about what it boils down to, isn't it? Now, we hope it doesn't ultimately come to that, but that's really what they're trained to do, blow stuff up and kill people who are trying to kill us. And the President has refocused the military on its core mission as opposed to, all this politically correct nonsense that it's focused on. I mean, there's now an acknowledgment, a common sense acknowledgment. Again, physically, women, as a general matter, cannot do what men can do. Physically. It is not possible. Now, of course, there are always going to be exceptions, particularly weak men, particularly strong women. Always, you'll find an exception. But we know that that's the exception, not the rule. And pretending that women can endure the same physicality or physical requirements that men do, pretending that they can and then quietly lowering the standard so that nobody really notices is a farce. It's a fraud. And listen, no disrespect meant to the women who want to serve. Those women who want to serve find a place where they can serve and they can serve effectively. But let's not pretend that 125 pound woman can drag a 250 pound guy out of the line of fire in a crisis situation, because she can't. She doesn't have that ability. President Trump has restored common sense to all of our institutions. The numbers 888-589-8840. That's 888-589-8840. Feel free to raise any issue you want.

Those bent on fundamentally transforming the United States have settled hundreds of thousands of Muslims in our country in order to diminish our Christian ethos and to build their modern day Babel. The problem is that Islam is not about assimilation, but political takeover and subjugation of non Muslims. Just look at what has taken place in Dearborn, Michigan, Minneapolis or NewSong York City. Jesus told his disciples to be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves. Christians should be shrewd about not letting this false religion take over our land and yet innocent in living pure lives that proclaim and exemplify the gospel. Fox poll shows president underwater on the economy with 60% disapproving
>> Bishop EW Jackson: We're back. This is Bishop E.W. jackson in for Abraham Hamilton III. Great to be with you tonight. I'm taking your calls. 888-589-8840. Fox poll shows the president underwater on the economy with 60% disapproving of his job on the economy, 40% approving, approving. I think that that can change pretty dramatically. And I think the President simply has to show, empathy for the American people. I think I may have shared this with you all. I priced, an H VAC system, for part of our house, before Biden inflation began. And I was given a price of $8,000. And I said, you know, I can, I'll put that off. I mean, I'll get to it. It ain't broke. I'm not, I'm not going to fix it, folks. After the Biden inflation took hold, that same system went from 8,000 to $15,000. 8 to 15, almost doubled in price. Now that's not President Trump's fault, but, you know, I'm stuck at this point. I'm gonna pay an additional $7,000 on a system because of Biden's inflationary policies. Now President Trump can't give me that money back and he can't, he can't relieve the pain of having to pay those extra dollars that I shouldn't have had to pay. You know, now you can. You know what I'm thinking about? Boy, I should have done it when I didn't need to do it, but I didn't foresee what was going to happen. So people are still feeling pain from what Biden did. But President Trump is not to blame, and we need to give him an opportunity. He's only been in office still less than a year. We need to give him an opportunity to, see his policies really take effect. I really believe this, folks. I'm not blowing smoke at you, just saying it because I happen to support President Trump. I believe that we're going to see an economic renaissance in our country. I really do. but, you know, look, when people are having a hard time paying their bills and all of that, they may find little comfort in that. So I do hope things turn around quickly because, of course, this could have an impact on the midterms, too. And Lord knows, the last thing in the world we need is for the president to have a Congress that is controlled by the demon crats. 888-589-8840 is the number. Let's go to our first call, Phil in Texas.
Phil Bishop: Parents need to be aware of where their children are attending college
Phil, welcome.
>> Caroline: Thank you, Bishop. It's been a little bit since we talked. I just wanted to tell you that I agree with your assessment at the beginning about colleges. Parents need to be aware of where they're sending their children. And I say this, being a professor at a university in Texas, pretty famous Texas A and M University. but myself and a small remnant, I want to say, of believers teach in a program at Texas A and M University. And we are afforded the latitude to be able to witness, to disciple, to talk to those in a non. the term I want to say is to proselytize way, so to speak. But we non coercive by the university, right? Non coercive, way to express our faith and our understanding of the word and our Savior. And a few, professors even give an optional last class of the semester where they give their testimony and give the difference between creation versus the secularism of, evolution. So, like, why, why God design fits better than evolution's chaotic thing because it's. It's construction, so to speak. And so, you know, you can see these similarities in that there's always a design.
>> Bishop EW Jackson: Well, Phil, thank you for the call. That is a blessing. And to go to a school where you have that latitude, which you should have because These are voluntary exchanges of ideas and information that should be able to take place under any circumstance. Part of the problem is that the ideology in a lot of these liberal schools is coercive. They're basically intimidating and pressuring kids to believe in a Marxist and evolutionary, and secular and atheist worldview. so God bless you that you're in a position, where you can actually share the truth, without someone telling you. We're going to get rid of you because we don't want you talking to kids. I'll tell you all a quick, quick story, and then I'm going to come right back to your calls. When my children were in elementary school, the teacher brought a witch in to talk to our children. Talk to children in the classroom. My children were there. My children came home and told me that a witch was brought into the classroom to teach them about Wiccanism. So I went up to the school and said, why are you bringing witches into the classroom? Well, we have to broaden their views. We have to, you know, a lot of nonsense. And I said, well, spring is here and Easter is coming. I said, would it be okay if I come up and teach children about the resurrection of Jesus Christ and why we believe in him as our Lord and Savior? The teacher said, oh, that's a different matter. Oh, that we'd have to get permission of the superintendent to do something like that. I said, well, wait, wait, wait, wait. Didn't you just say you brought a witch into the classroom? Oh, yeah, but that. To see, that's different. is it? I said, well, what do you have to do to get permission for me to come and teach the gospel? We'd, have to check. So they checked, and they knew I was not going to take no for an answer, so I ended up doing it. But, I mean, here again, that's the mindset. Acceptance of a witch, hostility toward the true and the living God in a representative of his.
George in Missouri says we should honor ICE agents instead of trying to kill them
All right, let's come back to the lines. Let's go to George in Missouri. George, welcome.
>> Caroline: Welcome to you, too. Hey, bear with me. I got Parkinson's. I'm an old guy.
>> Bishop EW Jackson: that's okay, George.
>> Caroline: You know, I. I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas.
>> Bishop EW Jackson: Thank you.
>> Caroline: And, and afr. All the people at AFR and, what Rick Greene said before, he said that, the Democrats didn't want, President Trump firing anybody. They didn't talk about Bill Clinton when he fired 400 Republican lawyers. They didn't say a word about that. And all the stuff that Biden and Obama done. they don't want Trump to do it. And the other thing is, these ICE agents and these policemen are our children, our daughters, our sons. And you should be honoring them instead of trying to kill them.
>> Bishop EW Jackson: Amen. Thank you for the call. George will be praying for you. Brother, you are so right. right, they act like these ICE agents and for that matter, law enforcement officers in general or aliens from some planet somewhere. it's kind of dropped down in the middle of nowhere to harass and bother the rest of us. You're right. These are part of our families and communities and they have chosen to take an oath to the Constitution of the United States and to serve the people of this country and the people of their community. And you're right, we ought to honor them. And by the way, all you law enforcement folks out there who are listening right now, we do honor you. Merry Christmas to you. Happy NewSong Year to you. Thank you you all so much for your service. God bless you.
Bishop says if you are homosexual, you are not allowed in the military
Let's go back to the calls. Let's go to Mark in Ohio. Mark, welcome. Hi.
>> Caroline: Good evening, Bishop, simplify, Semper fi, brother. I, I joined the Marine Core during the Clinton error and didn't really have ah, political identity at the time. but actually during that time that was the don't ask, don't tell.
>> Caroline: mentality. and I guess my question or comment is, do you think that them that Obama repelling that was harmful or helpful?
>> Bishop EW Jackson: Repelling that? You mean the don't ask, don't tell, don't.
>> Caroline: Yeah, don't ask, don't tell.
>> Bishop EW Jackson: well, you know, thank you for the call first of all, Mark. Appreciate that. Look, my recollection is that Bill Clinton put don't ask, don't tell in as sort of a compromise position. In other words, we're going to let homosexuals in, but we're simply not going to talk about it. We're not going to ask him about it. Obama comes in and Obama doesn't like the policy because he wants homosexuals in the military. He wants them to be able to serve openly. and that was a disaster because look, I think we are all Christians. We believe that heterosexuality is normal. That's the way God created us. Homosexuality is abnormal. It is an anomaly. It is a departure from the norm. However, however, I think all of us as Christians believe this. I mean how you live your life is none of our business. I mean, we care about you as a fellow human being, but we're really not interested in trying to dictate to you how you live your life. Just don't try to impose it on us. And don't try to have the standards of society changed in order to reflect what you want as opposed to what is right. But other than that, go live your life. But when you decide you're going to join the military and you want an operation, you want your sex change, you want. You know, you want to wear a dress instead of a stead of a male uniform, you want to wear a female uniform. You want. You want the military to spend a million dollars and two or three years transitioning you from one. No, no, no, no, no, no. You want to do that, go do that on your own. Don't. Don't ask us as taxpayers and don't ask the entire society to get in on that with you, because we're not doing it. So as far as I'm concerned, we ought to go back to the policy that says if you are homosexual, you are not allowed in the military. If you are open, practicing out with, as they put it out, homosexual. No, you can't come in because to me, it undermines decency and order, the good order of the military. Because again, you put two guys bunking together, right? One of the homosexual. Now, that's. That's the equivalent of putting a man and a woman together, because one of these guys is looking at this other guy not as just his. His fellow soldier, fellow sailor, whatever fellow marine, he's looking at his other guy as a potential sexual partner. You don't need that. They put men and women together on these ships, and it's been a disaster. A bunch of sailors coming home pregnant, often not by their husbands, sadly. because you throw people in a year for a year's time, you put them in close quarters, living together with one another, you're asking for trouble. So I hope that that answers your question mark, folks. The number is 888-589-8840. I might have time to get one more in. and we've got some open lines. Let's go to Chris in Ohio. Chris, welcome.
>> Caroline: Yes, sir. Bishop. Oh, we love you. Merry Christmas.
>> Bishop EW Jackson: Thank you.
>> Caroline: It's a breath of fit. My wife said, chris, the Bishop's on the radio. I dropped everything, and I'm a rugged outdoorsman, and I was right over to the radio. Oh, what? Everything you said, Bishop, is right on the money. Praise God. Well, I was. Of course, I. You were a marine? I'm Army, Vietnam veteran.
>> Bishop EW Jackson: Two of our sons were.
>> Caroline: Iraq. Oh, You, Bishop, you were a marine. I tip my hat. Well, anyway, two of our sons were navy and our army in Iraq, and one was over there with J.D. vance. So we're very much God, family and country. While I work in law enforcement, I, retired from law enforcement. I got around, the Muslim people, and I thought, my gosh, with what's just happened again. Well, I ended up an iman. Kept trying to convert me, and he had 12 apostles. And he kept trying to convert me. He knew I was a Christian. And. And finally, I. Lord, what do I do? How do I handle this? Because he was constantly after me. And, then it came to me. Offer to let him read the Gideon's Bible in your back pocket. And so, right in front of His 12 apostles, I said, sir, I will read your Quran if you promise to read my Gideon's Bible. And he said, you will read. I said, I swear. I swear before God, I will read that Quran.
Chris: We traded Bibles right in front of his 12 people
Even though I'd heard so much about it. But I never read it, so. And I'd been all around the world, met all kinds of people. So we traded Bibles right in front of his 12 people, and me as the officer. And, about a month later. So it would be about a month for me to read this. My wife, she said, I won't even pick that up.
>> Bishop EW Jackson: Almost out of time. You got to get to the punchline. There must be one here. Chris, what is it?
>> Caroline: Okay, well, I. Oh, yeah, I promised, and I did read it. And when I gave it back, when we gave our Bibles back to each other, he would not. He said, I can't. I did not read your Bible.
>> Bishop EW Jackson: I gotta go, brother. Listen, thank. Thank you so much for the call, Chris. Appreciate it. We're out of time. Listen, I'll be back tomorrow, though, so if you want to continue the conversation, all of you, please give me a call then. In the meantime, you know what to do. Stand up. So step up. Speak up. And refuse to back up. Because we cannot be defeated if we will not quit because we are on God's side.
>> Caroline: M. The views and opinions expressed in.
>> Bishop EW Jackson: This broadcast may not necessarily reflect those of the American Family association or American Family Radio.
