The unemployment rate held at a 49 year low while wages increased 3.1%. That is the fastest wages rate increase in nearly a decade.
In the face of our currently booming economy, a remaining complaint has been the lagging wage rates. Though the economy roared, wages remained stagnant.
Well, that last objection has just been shredded since the Wall Street Journal is reporting wages have now increased 3.1%.
Rising tides lift all ships. Thankfully, wages are now part of that rising tide.
On the financial front, it kinda feels like it’s morning in America again.
