One morning, Elisha’s young servant went out first thing and saw the Syrian army surrounding Elisha’s home town. The servant was racked with fear and cried out to Elisha, “What will we do?” Elisha said, “Don’t be afraid. There are more with us than are with them.” Then Elisha prayed, "LORD, open this young man’s eyes.” The servant then saw mountain full of horses and chariots of fire!
As opposition mounts in our lives, fear not, the LORD - who is in us and with us - is greater than the hostility present in the world.

No one likes to suffer difficult circumstances. In this era of easy believe-ism it's often conveyed, “If life isn’t always smooth we’re doing something wrong.”
The Scripture teaches us, however, that our LORD often meets fruitful branches with additional pruning. The pruning is not punishment. It's actually to make us even more fruitful.
If you’re in a rough spot right now, take heart. What may feel like the squeeze to end all squeezes could very well be the LORD’s pruning for additional fruitfulness.
When the LORD prunes us He does so for our good.

A new reality show Executive Produced by Chip and Joanna Gaines on their Magnolia Network called Back to the Frontier features a homosexual couple among its three families in an eight-episode social experiment set in 1881.
When challenged for normalizing what God declares abominable in his word, Chip Gaines defended the decision online.
The Gaineses have publicly professed to be Christians. I pray our LORD truly opens their eyes to the sinfulness of affirming a lifestyle that condemns the unrepentant participant to hell. We cannot truly love our neighbors without grace, truth, and courage.

NYC Democrat primary voters chose Marxist Muslim Zoran Mamdani as their candidate to be the city’s next Mayor. Don’t look now, but Mamdani has a counterpart in Minneapolis, MN. Meet Omar Fateh. The first Muslim state senator in MN campaigning now to be Mayor. The son of Somali immigrants whose policies sound like Mamdani’s. Omar Fateh supports freezing rent, free college, a $20 minimum wage, legalizing fentanyl testing strips, and refusing cooperation with federal immigration enforcement.
In short folks, Minneapolis O is also a Marxist.
From Bernie Sanders to AOC, The Squad to Mamdani and now Omar Fateh… we’re not in Kansas anymore.

President Trump’s Attorney General Pam Bondi said on Fox News, the Epstein client list was “sitting on my desk right now to review.”
Then, Axios reported the DOJ, which AG Bondi runs, concluded Epstein “had no ‘client list.’” This predictably left many wondering what is true?
Not only that, President Trump seemed to indicate that concern for the truth about the Epstein files was “a waste of time.” I think that is a mistake. The Trump administration has been arguably one of the most transparent administrations in American presidential history. The handling of the Epstein files may, however, leave a stain on that legacy.
“Preach the word; be ready in season [and] out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.” 2 Timothy 4:2 (NASB95).

In the National Religious Broadcasters v. Billy Long (IRS Commissioner) the IRS admitted in open court filing that Churches and their Pastors do not violate the law when they discuss electoral politics or even endorse candidates from their pulpits. Therefore, they do not risk their tax exempt status by doing so.
This is a huge development. The IRS is simply admitting publicly what has always been true. Our founders recognized the significant role the Church plays in forming a self-governed people necessary to sustain a nation of self-governance. Washington knew it. Religion and morality are indispensable.
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to dwell together in unity!” Psalms 133:1 (NASB95).

Psalm 133 is a celebratory psalm, written by David. He rejoices at the notion of brethren, family, and relatives dwelling together in unity. He’s actually contrasting it with the initial scriptural employment of the “brothers dwelling together” phrase recorded in Genesis 13:6. There, Abram and Lot couldn’t dwell together. Their separation precipitated what became the Sodom and Gomorrah saga.
In Psalm 133, however, David is rejoicing at the reality that there is enough room in God’s family for brethren to dwell together, and to flourish, all while maintaining genuine care for one another.
God’s kingdom is other-worldly.
“By mercy and truth iniquity is purged; and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.” Proverbs 16:6 (KJV).

We live in a day when churches are filled with people ready to hear and receive God’s mercy. Unfortunately, however, it is often accompanied by a de-emphasis or concealment of the truth of God’s Word.
Paul, the salvation-by-grace-through-faith Apostle, was asked if salvation is solely a product of grace what benefit then does the law provide. Paul responded, “Without the law, I wouldn’t have known God’s righteous standard and how far away from it I was.”
Any presentation of God’s mercy absent of God’s truth is no Gospel at all.
Iniquity is purged by mercy and truth.
Forever, O Lord, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens. Psalm 119:89 (ESV)

The American republic was founded on the principle that rights are given to us by God, not man. As a result, men nor government can take them away. That’s why our Declaration of Independence refers to our rights as inalienable rights.
Government’s role then is to protect the rights that God has given to us.
The first freedom listed in the bill of rights, which government is entrusted to protect, is religious liberty. The founders did this because they know that free exercise of religion is the fulcrum for all liberty.
Wherever the flame of religious liberty is extinguished, all liberty is imperiled.
“Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, 'Rise and go toward the south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.' This is a desert place” Acts 8:26.

At the height of a Holy Spirit outpouring in Samaria, where the Gospel was being preached with great power and droves of people were converting to follow Christ, the LORD instructed Philip to leave Samaria and head south to Gaza.
Philip didn’t know a divine appointment awaited him.
Through his ministry to the Ethiopian Eunuch, the Gospel would spread to Africa.
He left the crowd. To serve one.
I call this step down faith. It's easy to step up for the attention and applause of the masses, but do we have step down faith?
There were added that day about 3000 souls.

The day of Pentecost concluded with 3000 converts being added to the initial body of 120 believers. Then that 3120 spent time together daily going to the temple and interacting in each other’s homes. They devoted themselves continually to the apostle’s teaching, fellowship, sharing meals together and praying together.
The 3120 that made up the early church came from Turkey, the middle east and Africa, and included Arabs and Romans. In addition to the geographic and ethnic diversity, they also spoke different languages. Yet they were made one family in Christ Jesus.
Scripture has the answer to the issues we face today.
“I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Psalms 139:14(a) (NASB95).

In Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic, SCOTUS affirmed the constitutionality of states seeking to honor their constituencies’ prerogative to keep their tax dollars away from organizations that murder babies.
Money collected from taxpayers at the state level comprises about 43% of Medicaid funds. SC said we don’t want our tax dollars used to pay baby murderers. The lower appellate court said SC couldn’t do it. SCOTUS stepped in to say, yes you can!
Every pro-life state in the country should immediately pass laws and take action to strip Planned Parenthood and other baby murderers of their Medicaid funds.
“Furthermore, you shall select out of all the people able men who fear God, men of truth, those who hate dishonest gain.” Exodus 18:21(a) (NASB95).

In a 6-3 decision, the U.S. Supreme Court castigated the regressive use of nationwide injunctions by lower court judges. SCOTUS confronted the ideology that has driven the unconstitutional abuse and perversion of our justice system.
Justice Barrett specifically took Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson to task when she said,
We will not dwell on JUSTICE JACKSON’s ARGUMENT, which is at odds with more than two centuries’ worth of precedent, not to mention the Constitution itself. We observe only this: JUSTICE JACKSON decries an imperial Executive while embracing an imperial Judiciary.
“But they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.” Romans 1:21(b) (NASB95).

Romans 1 explains how mankind’s enduring rebellion against God ultimately evinces a diminished mental capacity that defies logic. When you consider the fervent effort of twisted adults to confuse children, as young as three and four years, old about sexuality and identity or the effort to say that there are no differences between men and women or the all out assault on the God-ordained nuclear family, where married fathers and mothers rear their children in a loving and committed home, which happens to be the primary means of establishing a stable and thriving society it shows the battle we’re facing is spiritual.
“Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:4 (NASB95).

Montgomery County, MD’s Board of Education decided pre-kindergarteners through 5th graders were required to imbibe LGBTQ+ indoctrination. The children’s parents objected. The School Board we don’t care what you say.
The Parents sued. The District Court ruled against the parents. The Appellate Court ruled against the parents. Only, the U.S. Supreme Court rebuked the School Board, ruling that the parents are still protected by the Constitution.
Many people recognize NYC mayoral hopeful Zoran Mamdani’s government run grocery store idea is a horrible one.
What about government run schools?
“Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” 2 Corinthians 3:17(b) (NASB95).

Today is July 4th. But it’s necessary that we, the American people, remind you… we STILL hold these truths to be self-evident:
• That all men are STILL created equal, being made in the image of God;
• That mankind is STILL endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights. Government’s role is solely to protect what God has given.
• God-given rights include the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness;
• But be warned, whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the RIGHT of a free people to alter or to abolish it.
Take note.
“Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power.” Revelation 4:11(a) (NASB95).

“Worthy are you our LORD” is a part of the chorus that will be sung throughout eternity. We’re given a picture of the twenty-four elders, falling prostrate before Jesus, worshipping Him using this very declaration in Revelation 4.
The “worthy” declaration isn’t meant only for song. The worthiness of our God should be evident through His people’s lives. Too often, church-attenders sing of God’s worthiness on Sundays only defy His worthiness on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
Sometimes, the denials even start Sunday nights.
What God desires is a people who’s songs and lives declare “He is worthy.”
“Then Azariah the priest entered after him and with him eighty priests of the LORD, valiant men.” 2 Chronicles 26:17 (NASB95).

Uzziah was a King of Judah who’d enjoy tremendous political and military success. He presided over a time of robust material prosperity and massive infrastructural innovation.
He was so successful that it went to his head. He sought not only the monarchy but the priesthood too. When his ambition threatened the integrity of God’s house, Azariah and eighty other priests of the LORD withstood him.
“Valor” is a term used in Scripture to convey courage in the face of war-like physical hostility.
That is exactly what we need today. Men of God. Men of valor.
“And He answered and said, "Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE.” Matthew 5:9 (NASB95).

The United States Supreme Court has ruled that states can in fact protect their minor citizens legislatively from insane chemical castration and genital mutilation.
The Court ruled 6-3 in favor of truth and sanity. The three dissenters, Justices Sotomayor, Kagan, and Ketanji Brown-Jackson, were comprised of two women who have no children and one who doesn’t even know what a woman is. Yet, they wanted to tell you and me how we should rear our children and address basic biology.
Thankfully, we were spared from their lunacy.
Our nation truly needs prayer.

Parents across the country trying to protect their children from the current cultural insanity and outright wickedness haver another nemesis to confront: AI.
ChatGPT encourages confused children to reach out to radical LGBT+ organizations, obtain so-called “affirming” resources behind their parents’ backs and direct them to YouTube channels that contain graphic reviews of fake male genitalia, according to a new investigation.
When prompted about circumstances involving minors, ChatGPT repeatedly responded in ways that directed the children seek courses of action “without notifying your parents” or to seek so-called “services” that “did not require parental consent.”
AI tools aren’t neutral. Parental vigilance is necessary.
