“Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were to marry his daughters, and said, "Up, get out of this place, for the LORD will destroy the city." But he appeared to his sons-in-law to be jesting.” Genesis 19:14 (NASB95).
My name is Abraham Hamilton, III and this is The Hamilton Minute.
At the very moment Lot sought to warn his sons-in-law about God’s looming destruction of Sodom with a message that would literally save their lives, the sons-in-law dismissed Lot as a joke.
What type of life did Lot live before those men that led them to disregard him so?
What we sometimes fail to realize is that the lives we live before people is what gives weight to our words.
Weighty lives produce weighty words.
