Kevin Freeman: Hey, what do riots in Los Angeles and other cities regarding immigration have to do with air raid sirens in Israel? Believe it or not, they are connected and both sides will admit it. This will be an eye opening hour as we cover some explosive developments happening around the world. As Christians, we have a responsibility to be peacemakers, but we also owe, allegiance to the truth as well as loyalty to the constitutional principles of our republic and the God given liberty that it defends. Joining me is co host of the Pirate Money Radio show, the brilliant, insightful Mike Carter with the amazing radio voice. Welcome, Mike.

Mike Carter: Hey, good to be here today. Certainly lots to talk about with all the stuff in the news and riots and everything else, but I'm glad we have a clear path for what's really happening.

Kevin Freeman: a clear biblical path, which is great. You know, wherever we go, people comment on how they've heard you. Mike, on the radio it's your voice. And when I, Marnie is co host, people are always saying, that they've seen her on the podcast. I guess I'm not either the looks or the voice in this.

Mike Carter: I don't feel too sorry for you here. The great hair and the brains. So, good attributes to have.

Kevin Freeman: Wow.

No King demonstrations planned across the country starting June 14th

All right, we have a hard topic today, because we see so much global unrest, the riots in LA and the whole no King demonstrations planned across the country starting June 14th. And I know this will air after that, but if you're a Christian believer and you're listening to this program. We have a king. We have a king. He's not political, but he's powerful. We call him King Jesus. He's the king of kings. we understand there's a whole group that says we don't do kings. And I get the sentiment and it's good marketing for them to say it, but it's truly disingenuous. Enforcing immigration laws that the people voted for and polling shows that they still want is not acting as a king. And of course we don't have a king in America. They're really just set up to challenge. President Trump, who is duly elected, will leave office at the end of his term. and these people are very well funded and organized. Mike, have you seen that map of the no Kings rallies?

Mike Carter: Yes, it looks massive. I'm curious to see what kind of turnout, they're going to have there. But we know it's organized and, the left, is working very hard to create a narrative that is based on misinformation.

Kevin Freeman: Oh yeah, well, it looks like a color revolution now. I was around working in the intelligence community when the color revolutions hit, in the Middle east. And you know, they started as little our food is down, there's this, small riot and it developed into overthrowing, governments. That's a Marxist revolution. And they're really literally attempting to remove President Trump, maybe overthrow our entire government way of life. It reminds me of blm.

Mike Carter: Well, you know, and it doesn't. If we go back to an episode we'd did an economic war room, I think it was 2020, remember the plane for Keeps. And they laid out specifically what they would do, if Trump were to win the election back then. He didn't win it, but they had a very specific plan. Part of that was to build up on the racism. Part of that was to, create chaos and get violent. And we're seeing all that come out to play now. It's almost like they rewrote the playbook a little bit. Let's tweak it here and there. And now how do we execute that?

Kevin Freeman: Yeah, and it's funded in part by, by some very nefarious elements. This is the book Unrestricted Warfare. In Unrestricted Warfare, two senior colonels of the People's Liberation army said the end game is street riots and a political crisis. They wanted to do network attacks on the enemy. They wanted to attack the financial system. Ultimately the goal was street riots and a political crisis. And that's what Black Lives Matter was, attempting. But it turns out they were communists. Right?

Mike Carter: Patrisse cullors, no doubt about it. Do what's good for them and not for the people. Because she bought her million dollar mansions and everything else with that money. All built on a narrative that was again, misinformation out there. And you know, we're seeing now, I saw in the news just recently, I think it was this morning, that, it looks like their CCP might, they might actually have a trail that they helped fund the riots in la. So this is happening. The things you talked about in your book in 2008, with the DOD in 2008 and all that was going on back then is all coming to fruition now. and I'm just glad that we, have shows like this to help people understand what's really happening.

Kevin Freeman: Yeah. Well, here's an article in, foundation for Economic Education. Black Lives Matter's goal is to disrupt the nuclear family fits A Marxist aim that goes back a century and a half. And the origins of course, of the nuclear family. You can go back to Genesis, you know, this is God's word, this is a part of the Torah, this is a part of the nation of Israel. This is Western civilization that really emanates, from the Bible of the Middle east, from Israel. and their goal is to destroy Western civilization so they can remake it in their enemy. And you pointed out, here's an article, I think it is New York Post, BLM spent at least 12 million on luxury properties in La Toronto according to tax filings. You know, so Black Lives Matter was very popular. Companies were funding it, people were. And by the way, that sentiment is absolutely genuine. Black lives do matter, no question about it. And we care if there is, harm brought to black citizens, whether they're in the womb or outside the womb, that's a bad thing. So, we care about that. But the hypocrisy that was in that movement, it sort of fizzled when people grew tired of it. Now the movement is not about Black Lives Matter now it's about immigration. Right. The no Kings protests and the LA riots are from the same playbook as Black Lives Matter. In fact, the 2016 Obama inspired anti Trump group is called Indivisible. So when I saw the no Kings, I thought I looked up, this looks, remarkably like Indivisible. And if you look at their website, which I did, and it's got, we fight on together, it's got, stop the cuts. so they don't like the cuts to usaid, which funded a lot of this. Surprise, surprise, stop the ICE overreach. and literally they are wanting to end any deportation of illegal immigrants. they're wanting to end any cuts. They want the federal government to continue down the path of fiscal irresponsibility that would bankrupt us. and this all seems like a Soros style playbook. I mentioned unrestricted warfare a minute ago. George Soros is mentioned in unrestricted warfare as a financial terrorist. And here's an article In Fox, June 7th, Soros backed group behind Tesla unrest accused of infiltrating key House race with chosen candidate. Whoa, wait a minute. They're going after Tesla too? Any political enemy. This is an attempt to do it and they're doing it with money.

Mike Carter: Yeah, it's perfect execution. It's perfect execution of unrestricted warfare.

Things that uh, we've been warning about for years now are coming to light

Things that we've been warning about for years now. And the good news is we've got an administration I Believe that understands and sees this and has taken the right approach. but we've talked about before, we've got to be very sensitive to the fact that we don't just sit back and say, okay, well, the Trump administration has this. This is the time we all gotta be educated, get involved, be up to speed, and we gotta be standing together because the other side is certainly doing that right now.

Kevin Freeman: Otherwise, good people will fall for the wrong bad narrative. They're doing it here now. It's like, oh, but I feel compassion. You know, maybe the guy that they deported really was a wife beater and involved in human trafficking. maybe Israel is just fighting for its life. But, you know, the narrative on college campus, we're gonna get into all that.

Are the protesters being paid? That's a good question

A lot of cases, though, this all comes down to money. And there are only three things you can do with your money. You can give it, you can spend it, or you can invest it. You name the group? No Kings. They have been funding some bad stuff. Are the protesters being paid? That's a good question. There's some YouTube videos that suggest that they are, and groups like Crowds on Demand that have hired actors at $2,500 to $200 per person. I looked it up on Grok. They said it's not always true, but it's, quite often true, that there are paid protesters, whether for Tesla or no Kings and so forth. One thing is clear. The protests are all linked and almost exclusively anti American or anti West. Now the question, are these groups also anti Israel? We're going to be looking at this. Kevin Freeman: Yeah, I'm joined by the great Mike Carter. We have a very special guest. What we're going to talk about is Israel, the eastern border of Western civilization. I believe it is. we invited in a friend. I'VE had him on economic, war Room before, and I've spoken at his group a couple of times. Really enjoy the American Jewish conservatives. It started as the Dallas Jewish Conservatives. It was so popular and growing so rapidly, that Benji, Gershon renamed it and has gone national with it, which is phenomenal. Welcome, Benji, to Pirate, Money Radio.

How did the world go from condemning Israel to blaming Jews for everything

All right, let's start with Israel. How did the world go from condemning the horror of October 7, 2023, in less than two years to blaming Israel and Jews for just about everything happening around the world? How'd that happen?

Benji Gershon: Well, you know, anti Semitism is, the deepest and longest rooted hatred we have in the world. And so no surprise that the, Western media and much, of the world doesn't like to see Israel, as the victim, for much longer than about a week or two, very quickly turns, and in the second, that they feel that Israel is the victim, they say, no, they're actually the oppressor. to your point, what you were making, you guys were talking about the red green axis earlier. M. They view America and Israel as the oppressors. They're looking to seek total destruction of our Western civilization. The very Judeo Christian values that we both here. They want to tear down the fabric of that, completely. And so this is bigger than just, Israel and anti Semitism. we have a common enemy, Jews and Christians. This is a war against radical Islam and radical Marxists and Islamists that want to tear down our country and, everything that we believe in. So, I would hate to say it's not that surprising that the anti Semitism has only grown since October 7th. I think, the narrative, unfortunately, has not been portrayed in the media correctly about who is really, at fault for obviously what happened and why the war started and what Israel and IDF are actually doing to take extraordinary precautions and more than any other army in the entire world, to limit the amount of civilian casualties. You have Hamas and you have Hezbollah and the Houthis that are consistently firing missiles and terrorist attacks in Israel. you have them putting their civilians in areas that, for instance, they're firing rockets from schools and from hospitals in these major civilian areas. And so then they try to twist the narrative that Israel is bombing civilians, going after innocent civilians. So there's a lot of propaganda out there, a lot of bad information. I think that contributes to why we're seeing such a rise in anti Semitism, across our college campuses and across the streets of our cities right now.

Kevin Freeman: Yeah, no, we're going to have to get into it.

Benji: Hamas terrorists waged deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust

Mike, you have that I put in the, in the notes, the AGC.org on October 7th. Could you read that?

Mike Carter: let me see where we're at. October 7th. yes, the, Hamas terrorists waged the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust. Slaughtering babies, committing sexual violence, burning whole families alive and taking over 250 civilians hostage. Hamas murdered more than 1200 Israelis during the attack. Over a year later, Hamas is still holding over 50 men and women, including two Americans captive in the terror tunnels in Gaza. So we go right into, you know, from the river to the Sea. What does that mean? I mean, this basically says it's about eliminating the Jewish population.

Kevin Freeman: They want to wipe out Israel and eliminate the Jewish population. But it's interesting, you know, here in Texas we still say, remember the Alamo, and it's a part of our culture. October 7th is much more recent, at less than two years. And it was a horrific tragedy and where they're burning whole families alive and yet people just. Oh, yeah, that happened, didn't it? They have almost forgotten it.

Mike Carter: Oh, let's go back to World War II. Right. Was never forget. But it's being forgotten. It's being wiped off the history books out there by those that want to do that.

Kevin Freeman: Oh, the Holocaust deniers and stuff. Yeah. I've got photos where Eisenhower is walking through the rubble and he's pointing out, take pictures, take lots of pictures of Auschwitz and everything else. Take pictures because the world must never forget. And yet the world is forgetting. And not only that, they're blaming the actual true victims on this. And so Benji, what does that from the river to the Sea actually mean when they say that? People hear that? What does it mean?

Benji Gershon: It's a chant to wipe Israel off the face of the planet. Ah, full stop. That, that's what it means. it is a terrorist chant. The, the fear, in my opinion, is the new Ku Klux Klan outfit. You know, it's, it's the new swastika. you see these people marching around with keffiyas and the Palestinian flag saying Free Palestine. I mean, just the other day, you know, you have the, the incident in Boulder, horrible incident where 15 people were injured, including a Holocaust survivor, literally burned, severely by this insane madman, to say the least, who chanted Allah Akbar and Free Palestine as well. And then you had in D.C. someone that's not just a radical leftist who called himself a protester, not somebody that's from one of these other Arab Nations. But somebody that was from Chicago drove into, this AJC event, different agency, by the way, American Jewish Committee were American conservatives, and went ahead and shot these two innocent people, and shot a free Palestine. This is not a radical Islamist. This is a radical leftist that's been indoctrinated by these Islamic groups who are brainwashing a lot of the left. So it's a serious problem.

Kevin Freeman: Yeah, no, it is a serious problem if you go to, Iran and you hear some of the craziness that happens there. And by the way, the Persian people are wonderful people. It's not the people, it's their crazy government. But they'll shout, death to Israel. Death to America, and worse. but here they have to tone it down so they say it in casual terms. From the river to the sea, what they're saying, and the other AGC wrote it. From, the river to sea is a phrase that can be used to call for the elimination of the state of Israel and or ethnic cleansing of Jews living there to be replaced with Palestinian control over the entire territory from the Jordan river to the Mediterranean Sea. But where did they get it? The interesting thing is I pulled up Christianity.com and it says the phrase from the river to the sea should be traced to Psalm 72. 8, which reads, he shall have dominion also from the sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. From the river to the sea is derived from the latter part of this verse, specifically, from the river unto the ends of the earth. The river mentioned is the Euphrates River. Through the prophets and other biblical narratives, the term the river as a proper noun most often refers to the Euphrates or possibly the Nile. Based on the context, the sea refers to the Mediterranean Sea, and the psalm is a prayer for justice, righteousness and prosperity under the rule of a wise and benevolent king. That would be King David. The language used in Psalm 72 is poetic and symbolic, expressing hope and desire of the community by a leader who would bring about peace and prosperity for all, even the poor. Which Israel, by the way, is doing as a nation right now. you know, as my understanding in Israel is, it doesn't matter your background. There's peace and prosperity for all if you're willing to live as a peaceful citizen. But these people, on the other hand, want to wipe that all out. They have the exact opposite. It's like the enemy of our faith, Satan, is usurping the truth once more to try and make the good guy look like the bad guy. And to try and make what is a peaceful verse and turn it into a violent verse.

Mike Carter: Yep. More continued misinformation out there. but the way that they're doing it is very strategic. And if you're just a casual, not staying up on the geopolitical process and so forth, it sounds so innocent until you realize what it really is.

Kevin Freeman: Yeah, well, it's so innocent until it's at a college campus. And the college campus. Anti Semitic incidents in college campus, they were always bad. I mean it's never good. But you go back to 2019 and there's 180 incidences. In 2020, it's 250 and then 226 and then 290. But you hit the 2023, 2024 and you're up to 1800 incidents. And you get into the, the most recent count, 2,105 documented incidences on college campuses of anti Semitism where people are chanting, they're literally chasing people of Jewish descent into buildings. And they have to, you know, with unfortunately, either support from the administration of those colleges, college chancellors and presidents, or just turning a blind eye. Benji, comment?

Mike Carter: We're looking at the bar chart here. I mean, this is not organic growth. This is, okay, a little bit. We got leaders or operatives on campus. And you see it go from 290 to 1854. You, see these huge jumps in colleges across the U.S. this is very strategic, and evil.

Kevin Freeman: And it ramped up. Starting October 7, it ramped up in response. In other words, I'm not going to take blame for this. You're at fault.

Benji Gershon says antisemitism on college campuses needs addressing

What are your thoughts, Benji, on the college campuses? I mean, you've got probably a number of college students involved with American Jewish conservatives. Tell me, what's your feeling?

Benji Gershon: Sure. Shabbos, Testimon just spoke to our organization not too long ago suing Harvard for the antisemitism that's been so, blatant on campus. Take a look at Columbia. Take a look at the University of California. Take a look, at mit, Yale, Harvard, you name it. This is going on across the entire country. It's going on right here in North Texas. and more has to be done. I mean, these are intimidated. This is intimidation, harassment and actually physical violence against Jewish students. they're chanting antifoder revolution from the river to the sea. They're impeding people's ability to get to classrooms and to feel safe on campus. So this goes well beyond free speech. These are essentially domestic terrorists. Many of whom should just be deported the hell out of our country at this point. the administration needs to do even more. They've done a good job to a point, but I think there needs to be even more done. Lawsuits, legal action is one way we can fight back. I think, alumni and donors need to honestly pull out their money from these institutions. Money talks. I mean, that's where these institutions are feeling the hurt on when it comes to being defunded by the administration, by donors. but we can do even more to strip federal funding from these anti Semitic institutions. I think we need to deploy more law enforcement and have more people actually on campus. is a presence to help deter some of this behavior, and hold administrators accountable. You know, this is happening. You mentioned some of the student, some of the teachers, rather faculty are the ones that are propagating this disgusting ideology on campus. And, it needs to be stopped. And I've seen it firsthand right here in North Texas utd unt and it's out of control. And thankfully we have a governor who's stepped up at times to, help mitigate that. But we have to do even more. there's more that can be done from the government level to suppress what's going on on campus.

Kevin Freeman: Yeah. And they're fighting back though President, Trump has done a good job, in pointing out Harvard and some of the schools that you've mentioned and saying, look, we're not going to give you federal funds if you're going to do this. And then they throw a fit as if they're the victim here, in this, this is a terrible tragedy. Can you imagine if it were someone, you know, someone who's gay and they were being harassed like that on a college campus. The uproar in the media and the immediate attack on that institution, I mean they might not survive that, but here they're attacking, American, people of Jewish heritage and they're going after them viciously. This is a frightening development that we're seeing in college campuses and we're seeing in society. All right, we're going to have more with Benji Gershon. Major pro Israel conference in Texas canceled over threats from violent jihadists

Welcome back with your host, Kevin Freeman.

Kevin Freeman: Yeah, I'm m joined by Mike Carter and the founder of American Jewish Conservative, Benji Gershon, who is a, dear friend. and I saw this headline in the New York post, it was June 6, it said, major pro Israel conference in Texas canceled over threats from violent jihadists. Now I mean Texas is not one to back down from threats. What happened here, Benji?

Benji Gershon: Wow. So, American Jewish conservatives was proud to be a strategic partner on this event with the Israel guys in Hayevel, which I should mention are two great Christian Zionist organizations doing amazing work in Israel and also here in America. and they had to make a very difficult and tough decision to indefinitely postpone this event. I have some good news, I'll say right off the top, which is that as of last night they've actually gone ahead and set a timeline for August, still the DFW area to put on this conference bigger, better and stronger than ever before because we're not going to let the terrorists win the end of the day. They may have won a round or two and throwing a few punches, but we're going to make sure that we win the war at the end of the day. So I want to make sure that's set up front. But as far as what happened to the cancellation, which was really sad, infuriating, we were going to have the event at the esports arena in Arlington. It's a city owned venue. The cost of the security to secure that venue, we were told by Arlington PD would cost, an excess of $500,000, which is obviously essentially saying we're not going to, it's impossible for you to secure your event. I mean no organization is going to be able to afford such a thing. And it's just in my opinion a way of saying, listen, see you later, we're not going to cover this event. Now they may have thought there was, that that kind of cost was actually needed, but from the experts I've spoken with, they don't think the number was that high. Needless to say, in 2025 apparently you need hundreds of thousands of dollars to secure a pro Israel event with about 700 plus people that time, Jews and Christians who want to peacefully get together and express their views and opinions about Israel, which is a very sad commentary where we are right here in the United States. needless to say we moved, we decided to move from that venue, and go to another venue, a private facility, ah, church, that initially a week and a half before the conference said, love to have you come in, we're ready to step up and help you guys. unfortunately the threats continue, both indirect and direct threats from the actual groups and Islamic, American, Islamists I guess you would call them, were levying threats not only at the venue itself, but the participants, the speakers and the actual people to run the venue. Ah. And unfortunately they just felt that the threat level was so high that they pulled out four days before the event. It was very unfortunate at that point. We had people flying in from Israel, we had, we had no time to reschedule it again. but again just, I don't, and I don't blame the venue, I really don't. I mean I, I, I, we had the security, that point about 60 plus officers ready to go, we had FBI involved, SWAT, EPS, you name it, we could have covered that event. But the threats were so intense that they said listen, we can't do it and we're gonna have to pull out. At that point the the summer was canceled. So again, I hate to say this there, I mean honestly, it emboldens the opposition to having this kind of thing happen. This is their mo, this is what they try to do. We have to fight back. And that's why I'm so happy that the Israel guys at high avail are doing everything in their power to make this even bigger. This next go around in August and ensure that we do this at a private facility that has a spine, that understands the threats are going to be levied against them before, during and after the event. And as long as we, that's set up front, I think we'll be able to put on a really successful event. I know that we will. so we're not going to let these terrorists win.

Kevin Freeman: Well, fantastic. I know the secondary event was, didn't have enough time to prepare really for the level of threat that was raised. But what drives me nuts about this is you'll read occasionally, you know, well the 15 year old girl in Europe was raped because she didn't have her hair covered or something like people, it's your fault for enticing us, by holding this pro Israel event. You enticed us and like we can't control ours. I hope the FBI is on this like they were on the Catholic Prayer warriors in front of an abortion clinic. I hope that they ramp it up like that, you know, which of course that was a trick human tragedy that they would arrest a father in front of his kids because he prayed for the life of a baby at an abortion clinic. But if they will put that level of resource, focus and attention on rooting out these jihadis, we need them out of this country. They need to be Deported. If they're here, illegally or if they're here legally, they don't need to stay here. And if they're American citizens, they need to go to jail for making threats like this. This is just horrible.

Benji Gershon: Yeah, we want to have whoever is making threats, we want them to be really prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. And, they need to be out of our country if these are domestic terrorists. And also we want Governor Abbott to be involved. I'd love for him to make a statement on what just occurred with the cancellation of the summit. we need the support of all government, officials and eps and even maybe dhs. But, you know that you can never be, unfortunately, you can never be too sure about security these days because, the amount of threats that are being levied against us are just insane. And it's a racial level that we haven't seen before. Since, some of my, friends from my organization recently said it's like we're living in Nazi Germany again, like 1939. the type of, level of antisemitism and the type of, level of threats that we're facing right now. And so should it be safer to live in Israel as a Jew than it is to, live in America as a Jew? And that's, quite frankly the road that we're kind of going down right now.

Mike Carter: So you're telling me that, these threats weren't just peaceful protests, that they were challenging you with, were they?

Benji Gershon: Yeah, they call everything peaceful protests when they're burning cars and they're sitting, throwing stones at police cars. But, no, we were expecting a lot of protesters. We expect a lot of protesters. Potentially again when we, when the summit gets relaunched in August. But we're going to be ready for it. We have to get out in front of it. Like, Kevin alluded to a little bit better this time earlier in advance. no matter how big the threat is, we, you know, again, they may have, want to run around, but they're not going to win the propaganda war here. We can't let that happen.

Mike Carter: This is, this is Texas. And, we gotta, we gotta remember the Alamo. We gotta remember that stuff. You know, it wasn't that long ago, Kevin. We were just a conservative event in California. And the threats of protesters, at that event almost.

Kevin Freeman: Steve Bannon was speaking. I was speaking there. Yeah. So Steve Bannon, it was before he went to prison, but people were going nuts. And, they showed up with strength. Karen Sigman, who hosted that Event. They showed up, we had a proper strength, and they kind of backed down and limped off.

Mike Carter: They did. And that was in California. So, again, important to how we stand together and we get our voice heard together, and we keep pressure on, leadership here within Texas government and officials and police. and we do believe in the free speech and being able to gather and meet, and everything that you're doing is peaceful. but what the radical left is doing is what we're seeing on TV this week and probably this weekend, with these radical protests. That's the threat.

Kevin Freeman: It's the red green axis, which is communists and radical Islam, have come together. And, you know, it's interesting. It reminds me of another story. I, remember one Saturday, my friend Bob Fu was speaking at, the return in Washington, D.C. and he called me and said, kevin, can you help? His family had been surrounded. He's a Chinese dissident. He was a pastor in China. His family was surrounded, at their house. And they were chanting at their house.

And it turned out they were Chinese Communists instigators. Chinese Communist Party instigators around his house. So they were in Midland. Midland, of all places. So I picked up the phone and called a dear friend in Midland who was a Republican, part of the Republican Women's Club. And she said, don't worry about it. We know Bob. Well. She called her pistol packing mamas. And they showed up. I mean, every woman with a concealed carry permit or just open carry, because we're in Texas. And they showed up and surrounded the Chinese, protesters outside Bob Fu's house. The police came in and took, the radical protesters away. And they said, we have a right to do this. We're just protesting on a street. And they said, you know, for your own protection, because if you stay here, they're gonna kill you. You better get out of here. And I know it was hyperbole, but that's what we need to see in Texas.

Benji Gershon: Israel summit coming to Texas in August

Kevin Freeman: So, Benji, how do people learn more about this Israel event that's coming up in August? Where can they follow it? I know there may be, you know, how can they support it? What are the ways that people can learn more, about this event that should be coming to Texas, happening in August, and has to happen so that we show the world that Texas does not back down, that America does not back down, that we do not allow anti Semitism or anti Israel behavior here. It is not US national policy and in fact we stand against it. How can people learn more?

Benji Gershon: Sure. they learn more by, by going to the Israel guys dot com, go to the website, learn more about the upcoming conference and summit. Not to mention they have this incredible content coming right from the heartland of Jude and Samaria. they have, their, their people actually live there. So they live and breathe and eat and everything else. You know, Israel, and so they know it better than anyone else. But they also talk about the whole US Israel relationship and a lot of other topics. And they're bringing in some incredible speakers both from Israel and the United States who are really on the forefront of what's going on in Israel grassroots. so you can go there also. Kevin Freeman: Yeah, I've got friends that live in Israel, they moved there in their 90s and dear friends and the lady, amazing cantor, who's retired now but brilliant lady from Chicago, she broke her hip in Israel, got incredible medical care. When you're in your 90s and break your hip it's like, well, we love knowing you and you've lived a nice long life and, and we'll help you through recovery. But you know, no, she fully recovered with incredible medical care in Israel and is doing great. And I get texts, you, know, hey, I was grilling hamburgers today and the air raid sirens went off or we have a new baby at the hospital and the air raid sirens went off. I mean Israel is under attack all the time. And America, this is the eastern edge of Western civilization. So I'm going to go on a little rant here, here. If we lose in Israel, we lose everywhere. This is the border and we cannot have a victory over Israel, which was established internationally after World War II, after the Holocaust, it was established as a Jewish homeland and Jewish place. and they treat people from any background or any race very well in Israel as long as you're going to be a peace loving citizen. but if you're not, they may not be. You know, they've got very sophisticated intelligence community and I've worked, I worked with some of those guys. They're really, really good. but we have to win Israel. Israel has got to maintain its position because it is our border of Western civilization. If we lose Israel, you know, we're in a massive, massive war at that point.

Mike Carter: Absolutely. And I think, you know, again, this comes back to how do we stand together, how do we support each other and make a difference out there? Israel does a great job of being peaceful in everything that they do out there.

Kevin Freeman: Christians and Jews working together. Israel is an important ally of America, the most important in the Middle East. We're talking with Benjy Gershon. Huh? We'll talk about his group, American Jewish Conservatives, right after this break.

American Jewish Conservatives works to bring Jewish wisdom to the conservative population

Welcome back with your host, Kevin Freeman.

Kevin Freeman: Yeah, I'm joined by the great Mike Carter and Benji Gershon from American Jewish Conservatives. Which is an interesting thing because historically, as you grew up, the Jewish population in America, has been, classically liberal. On the liberal side, certainly some are on the very far progressive side. but American Jewish Conservatives is a great group, started in Dallas. I was invited to speak, with Frank Gaffney, at one of their events and loved it. Got to know Benji. I, look on the website and you see pictures with, people like Ted Cruz and, you know, great, leaders, and they work very hard, to bring conservatism to the Jewish population, but simultaneously to bring Jewish wisdom to the conservative population. It works both directions. they have, in fact, Alan west and I were the Hanukkah speakers, this year, which was a thrill for me to be with Allen west and to meet with them. They had a phenomenal event. I know Nick Vujicic is a good friend of, American Jewish Conservatives. Benji, tell us, how did you start this group and what are you doing now?

Benji Gershon: Sure. so we started the group, believe it or not, at topgolf with eight of my conservative friends. That was our very first, I guess official event, you could say, at Dallas Jewish Conservatives. It quickly grew through word of mouth and social media, over the years into when we started doing speaker series events, candid forums, fundraisers, you name it, different screening events. So we really do a variety of different events. And our whole goal is to educate, inform, and activate the electorate and to hopefully, change some minds along the way and create more positive outcomes in the ballot box as well. but we're catering both to Jewish conservatives and also our Christian allies. And that's very important that Jews and Christians are united now more than ever before. As I alluded to earlier. Right now especially we have a common enemy. we're in a battle between good versus evil. And so I embrace our Christian friends, our Christian allies, who come to our events and who make our events even better than they would have otherwise been. It's just a great organization that is like minded people that are pro God, pro America, pro Constitution, pro Israel of course. And it works out really well I think our demographics primarily 35 to 65, trying to get some younger people in there into the fold as well here the coming year, and our goal is to expand what we've really done a great job of solidifying in the VFW area. We want to do that, we want to replicate that across the country, cities across the nation. And so we have, we think we have a really amazing opportunity right now under President Trump to do that. And so that's my main goal going forward is to just keep keep educating, keep informing the our members and our guests and hopefully take this nationally, across the board.

Kevin Freeman: Well you are taking it nationally and it's so important. I spoke to a group on national security issues in New York City, and it was a Jewish group and it was filled with very people who are very dedicated in their faith and their family and their life. Just tremendous, wonderful people. The kind of people that you really respect and want to spend some time with. And yet they were culturally progressive. Meaning I've always voted Democrat, I always will vote Democrat, I always support the most progressive. And they thought they were doing it as an extension of their faith. And yet they were being at the same time played for fools. And they would say things and this, you know, prior to 9 11, they would say, I don't know why those people in Israel need to stay there. Jews ought to just move to New York, right? And then 911 happens and then there's attack on the World Trade center and it's like so is New York really the safest place? Well then they would say well you know, I run into some progressive friends, who are Jewish and they'd say you know, I don't live in New York, move to Dallas, right? And then we see what's happening in Dallas now if we don't stop, if we don't spread Jewish conservatism across this country. And I'm talking about nothing other than supporting Western civilization. I'm talking about Winston Churchill style Western. You know, we're going to stand up for liberty, security and values. If we don't spread that, in the Jewish community, we'll find out that, there really is this attempt to wipe Jewish people off the planet, and that's what we're facing.

Mike Carter: And Christians next. I, mean, we've had Ken Abramowitz on the show as well, saying, hey, it starts maybe with the Jewish, but that's just the beginning. And they're coming after the rest of us.

Kevin Freeman: The phrase is first the Saturday people, and then we come after the Sunday people. And that's what Ken Abramowitz shared. That is why we have to work with groups and, like, American Jewish conservatives. all right, so part of this is we believe in family, right? We believe in the Bible. We believe the Bible is true. Why do people hate Israel? Why do they hate Jewish people? Why do they hate. Next. Christians. Why? It's because we believe in family. We believe that the Bible is true. The rebirth of Israel. I got this from a rabbi. He said the fact that Israel is reborn proves that the Bible is true. God made a promise. God kept his promise. Well, if you're a Marxist, you don't believe there is a God or government's the only God. So you hate that, right?

Mike Carter: Or if that, Marxist wants control, you want to break apart the families because you want people to be trusting you or the government to take care of you.

Kevin Freeman: Who else did that? Adolf Hitler with the Hitler Youth. This is where it's all tied to. It's tied to this extreme, dictatorial. Sounds nice at the beginning and turns out lousy at the ending. Marxism, Communism, Nazism and all that. Marxism has historically funded radical Islam. You had it with the kgb. You have it now with Chinese Communist Party. If you read unrestricted warfare, you get the playbook. This is called the red green axis. Benji, you confront that with education.

American Jewish Conservatives combines education with entertainment

Tell us some of the speakers you've had at American Jewish Conservatives.

Benji Gershon: Well, so many. we had Lara Trump. We had Steve Bannon, Caroline Glick, Dennis Prager. There's so many different people I can name. We've had the honor of having so many different congressmen and women, Senator Cruz and Beth Van Dyne and Tom Homan. we've been blessed. We've been blessed to have incredible speakers, who understand the significance of what we're building and the importance of using Christians coming together, united, now more than ever before, and to understand that our Judeo Christian values and principles are fundamental to who we are. And, I think people understand, the value that we've brought over the years, providing what we do really is combine education with a little bit of entertainment. You can't get people in a library with some cheesy crackers and expect them to retain any information. It's not going to excite people. You got to, you got to make things interesting, exciting. You got to bring in speakers that are dynamic and not even necessarily on the circuit. Maybe people that are, would be considered not necessarily even an A list speaker, but people that are brilliant, when it comes to their craft or really when it comes to the topic that they know about and inform people on these critical issues that are facing our country. And we cover everything from local, state to federal level issues. And of course Israel, we've done since October 7th, just on Israel alone, marches, rallies, including one of the biggest rallies after October 7th with about a thousand people in Irving. And we've done, pro, Israel fundraisers, fundraisers of the IDF and lone soldiers. so we're trying to do our part here to help our brothers and sisters in the Holy Land and obviously to better the lives of our fellow conservatives here in America through the lineage of issues we have to cover with here.

American Jewish conservatives say more Jews are waking up to progressive left issues

Mike Carter: Benji, I know you're American Jewish conservatives, but as I look at the media, it seems like more and more of the Jewish people are kind of waking up to the reality of what's happening here on the really progressive left side. Are you seeing, just give us an update. Are you seeing more and more people that are maybe more progressive on the Jewish side saying, hey, help me understand what's going on here, Benji.

Kevin Freeman: Ah.

Mike Carter: Or is your group having an impact there in terms of bringing more people, into the market here?

Benji Gershon: I think so. And I like to think that it's a greater number of, my Jewish friends are still on the, on the progressive left that are starting to make that migration over to the, at least the center or center right. you know, when you take a look at the anti Semitism legislation that was just before, in the House and Senate, you saw over 100 Democrats vote against it. This is after the Boulder attack. This is after the attack of D.C. over 100 Democrats voting against that legislation. What does that tell you? The Democrat Party is no longer the party for Jews. if you don't see the writing on the wall after October 7th, you don't see what's going on with these radical leftists joining forces with these Islamists that are running rampant in our country, then I don't think you'll ever wake up and see it. I think the writing is on the wall at this point. And so we're just trying to expose the truth and the facts. We put that out there on our social media. We put that out there at our in person events. I definitely think people have woken up, especially by attending our events in person. I know we've had some liberals come to our stuff and saying, yeah, it makes sense what you guys are saying. Actually I, agree a lot more with that. So I think the more people are willing to have the conversations, be open to alternative opinions. Just like I was before. I wasn't always a conservative. I started listening to Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin and Dennis Prager years ago and that's what kind of the light bulb went off in my head. So there is hope. I, will say we still have a long way to go. But when you see the Democrats are making it pretty easy for Jews to wake up and see what's going on, in my opinion right now.

Kevin Freeman: You know, you mentioned some great names. These are people I know, some as friends, some, you know, just casually. But Dennis Prager, I've met him multiple times. Brilliant guy, one of the smartest people I'll ever meet. Ben Shapiro, he actually helped me early on write some of my first books before he was even known. Ken Abramowicz, you brought up, we've had on the economic war room program. Karen Sigeman, I mentioned before, Mark Levin, who's also on Blaze. We've got a Blaze TV show. In fact, our first, airings, episodes were aired on crtv, which was Mark Levin's network. So some of the smartest people I know are American. They're Jewish and they're conservative, which is great.
