Some wondered how Christians could vote for Trump. The simple fact is many Christians voted in self-defense.
They voted to stop the relentless, eight-year-long assault not just on their values, but on their ability to live their lives unmolested without having radical progressives attempt to force some newly invented ideology down their throat or hang some new “phobia” label around their necks or garnish their wages to pay for medical exterminators to suction tiny human beings into bloody slurry.
Most of these Christians are not activists. Most of them just want to be left alone.
In North Carolina the U.S. Government is informing illegal immigrants how to apply for FEMA assistance.
A FEMA press released obtained by American Family News states, “undocumented parents or guardians can apply” for assistance. The document goes on to state “FEMA does not ask questions about citizenship or immigration status of other household members and no information will be gathered.”
How can our government give lip-service, on one hand, to wanting to curb our national illegal immigration problem while simultaneously providing incentives like this for more illegal immigration.
Could this be another example why Donald Trump is our next President?
“Lord, now you are letting your servant depart in peace, according to your word; for my eyes have seen your salvation.” Luke 2:29-30 (ESV).
Simeon spoke these words when he met baby Jesus.
The Holy Spirit revealed that he would not die until he saw the messiah. Immediately upon meeting Jesus in the temple, Simeon held him and worshiped God saying, “now you are letting your servant depart in peace for my eyes have seen your salvation.”
Jesus hadn’t yet preached a sermon, healed anyone, or even mentioned the cross. Simeon only held a baby. But confidence in God’s salvation promise was absolute. This is why we celebrate Christmas.
“We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work.” John 9:4 (ESV)
November 8th has come and gone. The 45th President of the United States is Donald J. Trump.
For some it was a great triumph. For others, a national calamity.
Regardless of where you fall on the political spectrum, the agenda has not changed for the Christ-follower.
This is not the time to ease off of the gas pedal. Actually, we must increase our resolve to be about our Father’s business. Now, more than ever, we must proclaim the Gospel and make disciples for we are accountable to a King who can’t be voted out of office.

"The fear of the LORD is instruction in wisdom, and humility comes before honor." Proverbs 15:33 (ESV)
In the wake of Donald Trump’s improbable presidential victory many on the progressive left are trying to figure out what happened.
To do so, many of them are resorting to the typical name calling… you know… America is racist, sexist, misogynistic, etc.
Never-mind that Trump won a larger percentage of hispanic voters than Mitt Romney, 13% of black men voted for Trump, 42% of all women voted for Trump, and many voters who swung Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida to Trump voted for President Obama in 2008 and 2012.
The voters explained the election simply. They did not want Hillary Clinton.

“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:13 (KJV)
In the latest show of anti-Christian bigotry the Connecticut Comptroller sent an official letter to the American Family Association to express his personal objection, as a homosexual man, to our stance for the Biblical definition of marriage and standard for human sexuality.
This elected official had no problem using his public office as an instrument of anti-christian antagonism and intimidation.
Thought the day may be evil our duty remains the same. We won’t faint in the day of adversity. Having done all, we will stand!!!
“Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.” Matthew 5:15
Considering Army's football record, it's no wonder the team is resorting to prayer. West Point's Black Knights haven't had a winning season since 2010, so you can't blame them for thanking God when they finally got a victory.
Unfortunately, not everyone was as enthusiastic about the prayer as the players and their coach.
After one ridiculous complaint, the video of the celebration and the prayer was removed from social media.
These cadets went to West Point to defend our Constitution. The biggest threat to it seems to be right here at home.

“… but they became futile in their thinking.” Romans 1:21
The University of Michigan adopted a new policy allowing students to choose their preferred pronouns, including the sex-neutral “they” and “ze” to appear on class rosters.
To highlight the absolute absurdity of this policy one student listed his preferred pronoun as “your majesty” and it worked. He tweeted, “I henceforth shall be referred to as: His Majesty, Grant Strobl. I encourage all U-M students to go onto Wolverine Access and insert the identity of their dreams.”
This is hilarious and sad at the same time.
When you extend this ridiculous logic to its obvious consequences, you can see the logic’s frailty.
Facts or feelings? Which will govern?
“And Moses said, ‘I will turn aside to see this great sight, why the bush is not burned.’” Exodus 3:3
In the burning bush encounter scripture records that it began as Moses kept Jethro’s flock. Exodus 3:1
“When the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, "Moses, Moses!" And he said, "Here I am.” Exodus 3:4
Notice, God didn’t speak to Moses until He gave full attention to what God was trying to show him.
Diligent attention to daily duty is necessary. We must be careful, however, not to allow duty to become an idol. Are our hearts still sensitive to God? Can God still get our attention?

On the campaign trail in 2008, Barack Obama promised to fundamentally transform the United States of America.
That revolution has been comprehensive, dramatic, and under the radar.
When Obama entered the Oval Office, liberal judges controlled just one of the 13 circuits of the U.S. Court of Appeals.
Fifty-five successful presidential nominations later, liberal majorities now control nine of those appeals benches, or 70 percent.
The Supreme Court grabs the spotlight, but it hears fewer than 100 cases a year while the 13 federal courts of appeals handle about 35,000.

Police in Iraq stopped a little boy who had an explosive belt around his waist. The child claimed terrorists kidnapped him and forced him to become a suicide bomber. Thankfully, the police stopped him before it was too late.
This occurred two days after an adolescent suicide bomber blew himself up at a wedding party in Southeastern Turkey. At least 54 people were killed. President Erdogan said the boy bomber was between 12 and 14 years old.
Jesus said let the children come to me. Terrorists turn children into ornaments of Jihad.
There is objective evil in the world.

“Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, 'Rise and go toward the south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.' This is a desert place.” Acts 8:26
At the height of a Holy Spirit outpouring in Samaria, where the Gospel was being preached with great power and droves of people were converting to follow Christ, the LORD instructed Philip to leave Samaria and head south to Gaza.
Philip didn’t know a divine appointment awaited him.
Through his ministry to the Ethiopian Eunuch, the Gospel would spread to Africa.
He left the crowd. To serve one.
I call this step down faith. It's easy to step up for the attention and applause of the masses, but do we have step down faith?

“There were added that day about three thousand souls.” Acts 2:41
The day of Pentecost concluded with 3,000 converts being added to the initial body of 120 believers. Then, that 3,120 spent time together daily going to the temple and interacting in each other’s homes.
They devoted themselves continually to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, sharing meals and praying together.
The 3,120 that made up the early church came from Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa and included Arabs and Romans. In addition to all of this geographic and ethnic diversity they spoke different languages. They were made one family in Christ Jesus.
Scripture has the answer to the issues we face today.
“Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who act faithfully are his delight.” Proverbs 12:22 (ESV).
Debbie Wasserman Shultz used her position as DNC Chair to actively stack the deck for the Democrat presidential nomination against Bernie Sanders.
Once it was uncovered, she was ousted from the DNC Chair position.
Then Donna Brazile was exposed, having slipped debate questions to Hillary Clinton before a debate with Sanders. When confronted about this cheating Brazile employed the go to Clinton scandal response… deny, deny, deny.
Email revelations proved Brazile did in fact help Clinton cheat and she was ousted from CNN as a result.
Ever heard the saying “show me your friends—I’ll show you your future?”
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9 (KJV).
Senate Democrats have committed themselves to removing a clause from the National Defense Authorization Act.
House members added a provision to the bill that would ensure faith-based organization that perform work for the U.S. Government aren’t forced to act against their beliefs.
Senate Democrats say the provision amounts to government sponsored discrimination cloaked as religious exercise.
The matter will most likely come before a lame duck Congress when the session resumes after the November 8th elections.
This is an example of the fight we can expect in the future: LGBTQ agenda vs. Religious Liberty
“Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” Ephesians 5:11 (ESV).
WikiLeaks hacked emails reveal that top Hillary Clinton aide, Cheryl Mills, panicked when President Obama said publicly he learned about Clinton’s private email server “the same time” as the American people.
We now know President Obama lied when he said that. Cheryl Mills said “we need to clean this up - he has emails from her - they do not say state.gov."
So, it’s likely that any Clinton criminal prosecution would require President Barack Obama to testify as a defense witness in addition to former President Clinton.
It seems that a Clinton prosecution may also require an Obama investigation. Could this partly be why Clinton wasn’t indicted?

In the latest turn the FBI discovered new evidence that caused it, in a stunning reversal, to re-open the Clinton email investigation.
The FBI found emails in the course of investigating top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin’s estranged husband for sending illicit messages to a 15 year old girl.
The emails we're found on Abedin’s husband’s laptop.
Reports indicate that there could be as many as 650,000 emails to review for evidentiary purposes.
This means we are heading into the November 8th election day with one candidate being investigated by the FBI.
