A little girl at Fort Riley Middle School in Kansas was socially transitioned at the school but it was intentionally concealed from her parents. Social transition is where agree to treat a person, or student in this case, as if their identity is opposite of their sex.

Pamela Ricard, a Christian teacher at the school, refused to go along with the charade. As a result, the school suspended Ms. Ricard. She secured representation by Alliance Defending Freedom, sued the school and district and Ms. Ricard was ultimately vindicated… after Kansas School officials socially transitioned a child and fought to conceal it from her parents!
