The Jurupa Unified School District in California issued an edict requiring teachers  to address students by their preferred pronouns and to conceal from parents any “gender transitioning” students may pursue.

Jessica Tapia, a Christian and former teacher in the district, was fired when she refused the edict and because she posted about her faith and opinions on her private social media. Tapia said her faith prevents her from lying to children and concealing lies from the children’s parents.

She will now receive $360,000 from the School District to settle the wrongful termination lawsuit she filed against them.

Standing in truth yields vindication.
