RFK Jr. Well, let me just say this. President Trump is exactly the opposite of everything that I believed him to be. You know, and, you know, I met. I, you know, I basically drank the Kool Aid. That he was this, you know, bombastic narcissist who didn't read books, was ill informed. And, then, you know, now I know exactly the opposite. He's the opposite of a, ah, narcissist. He's an empath. You see that every time he talks about the Ukraine war, he talks about the casualties on both sides. You will not hear any Democrat ever talk about that. And he talks about the Russian kids who are dying. He gets the reports every week, and they make a huge impression on him about the death rate. A thousand kids a day are dying over there. My son fought in Ukraine, and he's the only member of his military unit who survived. And he understands that these are people's children, and he talks about that. And then also he has, encyclopedic molecular knowledge on this wide range of very, very eclectic interests. Music, Broadway shows, pro wrestling, football. Every sport, golf and, you know, and business and street. He knows how everybody made their money and what deals they made. And he tells stories all the time about it. It's just one after the other. And one time, I was during the campaign, I was on the airplane with him, and we were sitting across the table from each other, eating McDonald's, drinking Diet Coke. And, we started talking about Syria. And he got a place mat and he turned it on its back, and then he took a Sharpie and he drew a perfect map of the Mideast. And then he put the troop strength of every country on every border on that map. And it just, it challenged a lot of the assumptions that I had been told about him. He has, you know, he has this extraordinary depth of knowledge about what's happening in each one of the agencies, my agency and the others. And, you know, and then he has an instinct or making good choices.
Sandy Rios Well, that was RFK Jr. And that was at CPAC. and so I just thought that was extraordinary. He made a speech recently that we played on, the air, I think, a couple of weeks ago, maybe in September, where he said something like this. He just talked about how extraordinary Donald Trump's mind was. And he said, he also said he's kept every promise he's ever made to me. and he talked about his. His misconceptions of who he was. And I just thought that was very interesting, especially in the light of what we're going to be talking about today because it's a brand new book that's just coming out today. Actually. Today it's coming out, and it's called Trump's NewSong World Reorder. Rod Martin is the author and, Rod talks about how Trump's leadership truly is reordering the world. It's really changing things all over the globe. And, so I just, and it's fascinating. So, I just don't think you're going to want to miss this. Rod is really brilliant himself and, he, he just, tells things that you and I might not know. At least I'll speak for myself. But I think you'll enjoy it. but first, you know, I still love the story that I told you recently about Katy Zachariah, who now is no longer a press secretary, sadly. Beautiful girl, beautiful girl with a degree in law, and like four beautiful children, she works with President Trump and has for many years. I don't know how many. She's not that old, but several years maybe since 2016, and just so winsome. And she is a very strong believer. it's sad that she did not make it as press secretary. I just, I hope she's all right. But here's the thing about Katy. She was almost aborted. she was almost aborted. That's the point. 30 minutes before her scheduled abortion appointment, her 19 year old biological mother received a call from a Christian counselor urging her to place Katy for adoption instead. And so, her life has been, her life was spared. And look what she's done with her life. Look what a blessing she's been, to, to those around her. President Trump surely has seen her witness, in Christ, before him lived. And so it's just an amazing thing. And how casually the world takes taking the life of babies. We don't. And we try to stop this in a beautiful way. That's preborn. I'm part of the we here. it's giving women ultrasound so that they can actually see, the baby. And I think maybe this happened with, Katy's mom, I don't know. But preborn does this all the time. And I think 80% of the women choose to keep their babies or not to abort them anyway, even if they adopt them out. So you know what I always say, and it hasn't changed. It's $28 for one, just to provide that for one mom. And, so many of you are involved in giving generously. I told you before, you know, I don't. When it comes to national shows, I don't, I don't have a national show. No, I mean, I do, but, you know, I don't have the big, the big props that other shows have, like I've had in the past, actually. And yet, I've been told that we do as well as the national, big national shows on PreBorn, and that that's because of you. That's not because of me. I just think it's amazing. You have. My heart resonates with your heart and you give to PreBorn, and I thank you for that. I really do. So go to preborn.com sandy preborn.com sandy and make your most generous donation. All right, well, spaz on your seat belts, get out your notebook and put your glasses on because this is a fascinating discussion with Rod Martin. Remember, Rod is a, one of, one of the founders of PayPal, and he's got so many other accolades. I'll introduce him better on the other side of the opening here. But, he's a fascinating guest and he has written a fascinating book called Trump's NewSong World Reorder. You won't want to miss it. So stay tuned for today's edition of Sandy Rios, 247 from American Family Radio. Sandy Rios. We are not called to be nice. We are often called to be confrontational. And here with me in D.C. is Fox News contributor Sandy Rio. I think the most important thing we need to demonstrate to our children is genuineness, that we actually believe what we say we believe. Longtime Fox News contributor Sandy Rios.
Sandy Rios Thanks very much for being with us. Seek justice. Not social justice, but God's justice, what's right and what's wrong. Sandy Rios is with the American Family Association, a pro life radio talk show host.
Sandy Rios We've got to say this is the line. Life is sacred. Director of Governmental affairs for the American Family Association. Step up, Steven. Speak up. Say something. Do something. Is there anything more French than lighting your cigarette off of a riot fire?
Speaker D No. It is the ultimate in let them have. Eat cake. you know, you know, there are, obviously there are a lot of things going on here, and I think that you put your finger on the most important thing, and that is that the legacy media wants to make this all about, students and, and the cost of living and things like that. They do want to recognize the most important thing that's going on here, and it is the, invitation to millions of illegals, millions of foreigners from around the world into their country and what, what happens to them, of course they wind up on welfare. And obviously France is a notoriously welfare state. This is the kind of thing that kind of happens in a welfare state. But when you have hordes and hordes from foreign countries who do not care about French culture, do not care about France, and they come here, this is the result of it. And I have to say Jesse, as I've watched all of this unfold, I just say a prayer and thank God that we have Donald Trump as president. Because Donald Trump, not only does he has he fixed our own border but he is willing to talk about the real issue here which no other politician, none of these politicians and none of the legacy media wants to talk about. And if Donald Trump isn't careful, he's going to want, you know, we talk about Trump 2028 just to make liberals in America lose their minds. If he's not careful, he's going to win a write in election and get elected president of France after all of this. Because normal people look at this and they don't want this. And the whole world knows the, that Donald Trump is the only world figure who is willing to call out what the problem is and actually make the hard choices to do something about it.
Sandy Rios Amen and Amen. I have to say that Charlie Hurd on Fox, he was on Jesse Waters show last night and I thought what he said is absolutely true. The world is being completely reordered and set a right, you know, country by country by our president who, who would have thought? It just shows you, you know, some people have very big minds, they have great capacity for understanding the world and the way things connect. And Donald Trump is, you know, maybe number one on the list. But I have to tell you my next guest is pretty high up on that list too. His name is Rod Martin. He's a good friend of mine, but a lot more important than that, he's the founder and CEO of Martin Capital, and the Rod Martin Report. he's been my guest and you've heard him recently. But he's back because I wanted you to hear about his brand new book. But to complete his bio, he's an investor, a technology entrepreneur, a futurist from Destin, Florida. And Rod was part of PayPal's pre IPO startup team and a whole lot more. Now one, the book is called Trump's NewSong World Reorder. Trump's NewSong World Reorder and the, the, the subtitle is Dismantling the Deep State and ending Post War, globalist rule. This is a big book, big ideas with a guy that can handle it. And that's Rod Martin. Good morning, Rod. Thanks for joining me.
Rod Martin Great to be here, Sandy.
Sandy Rios You know what, I want to say one more thing about, the book because you have great endorsements, which is so important. And they're, you know, people who know what they know. They know. They know good. When they, when they speak something and comment on something, it matters. So the first one is George Gilder, who's very famous to many of us. And he says George Martin is the, is the commanding geopolitical analyst of the day. Read his new book for unique and profound insight into the new American epic. And then one more. I'm only going to read one more. And this is from Mark Taps Tapscott. I know Mark. He's, an award winning investigative journalist and former executive editor of the Washington. And this is what he says about Rod. Speaking as somebody who joined the Reagan revolution at the age of 14 in 1964, and who has labored in the nation's capital ever since 1976 as a Reagan appointee, a congressional aide, and an investigative reporter and editor. Trump's NewSong World reorder is the most insightful, persuasive and courageous analysis I've read in years of where a country is, how it got here, and, and what we together must do to restore individual liberty under God as our founders intended. Okay, so I just thought that was a great endorsement and so are the others. Okay, so, Rod, you write a lot. Now I want to just say, that you're, The Rod Martin report, is just. You're just writing, writing, writing. Are you, do you have a photographic memory?
Rod Martin Well, I've been accused of it. I don't think that's actually true. But I've been around a little while. You know, I just recently turned 57, so I'm feeling a bit old. and I have been a student of geopolitics and history since I was, honestly since I was a kid. I mean, this has just always fascinated me. So, you know, the question, as a particular friend of mine once put it, is, you know, not just how do all the pieces fit together, but can you see the whole board? Can, can you really see how everything fits? That's the aim, and that's the aim of this book. Trump comes off as a chaos monster. You know, everybody, everybody thinks all this stuff is just random. They don't get him. He's written whole books about this. He had a. He Had a number one television show for years talking about negotiation. all of that is to throw people off. It's to keep his opponents off balance. It's to keep them guessing. If he's unpredictable, they give him more in the negotiation and he gets the deal he wants. But it isn't chaotic, not even slightly. There's a master plan here that is rooted in Reagan and aimed at overturning what FDR saddled us with for the last, 80, 90 years. He is transforming the world. We've got to make it stick by winning in 28 and winning in 32. But this is an epical transformation that will define the rest of the century if we let it.
Sandy Rios Yeah, I think you're right. I think you're absolutely right. I want to ask you just to spend a moment. You know, I grew up in a family. You know, we talked politics at our table always. And I just had a. Like you, I. My first. When Kennedy was elected, I was just a kid. And of course, we didn't vote for him because he was Catholic. You know, that's. That's how he thought in those days. And, I was fascinated by his press conferences. I used to love to listen to his press conferences. So I was drawn into this really early, too. I just don't have your memory. I don't think I have your memory. But, on fdr, my mother loved fdr. My mother loved him. His. Her family loved it. My dad didn't love fdr. So, could you just, in a capsule, tell us why you think FDR set in motion something that was, pretty bad for America?
Rod Martin Well, he certainly didn't mean it to be bad. He just thought he knew better than everybody else. And as is so typical of the Democrats, they all agreed with that. They really, particularly in the first half of the 20th century and coming out of World War II, believed in technocracy. Technocracy, this idea that you should have an expert class who determines everything, who makes all the decisions, and who is insulated from the electorate. This is crucial. And you see it show up even very recently with Tony Fauci and trust the science and, you know, all these different things we have been confronted with for our entire lifetime. This idea that there is a credentialed class, interestingly, just credentialed by other leftists, but credentialed class that knows better and we don't have any right to have any say over what they think and do. You heard it actually very recently from Ketanji Brown Jackson, who Just said outright that the President should have no right to fire a PhD, just none at all.
Sandy Rios She said, I didn't miss that.
Rod Martin Not freedom, that's not a republic. And so what FDR did domestically was create these insulated so called independent agencies that fused legislative, executive and judicial power. Under Chevron, you didn't even have a right to appeal their judgments to a real federal court. That was the law of the land for half a century. And the idea was we just can't have the stupid voters and the stupid elected officials have a say over anything that matters. Okay, so Trump is dismantling that. That's what we call the deep state. It does whatever it wants to do regardless of the outcome of elections. And oh, by the way, they all happen to be Democrats. So a third, effectively you've had one party rule, but overseas is just as bad. You know, coming out of World War II, we set up this multilateral globalist world order, you know, the so called NewSong World Order in which again, technocrats, a credentialed elite in international organizations make all the decisions while Americans pay the bills both in blood and treasure. And all of that is wrong. American foreign policy should serve American interests. And by that I mean the interests of Americans, the people paying the bill in blood and treasure. Trump is reorienting that too. So whether you're talking about, you know, the lowest federal employment rate, actually the lowest federal employment number since 1966, you're talking about the lowest violent crime rate since 1900, or you're talking about forcing NATO to actually step up and pay its bills, to defend itself and contain China so that the Communist Party doesn't dominate the world. It doesn't matter where you look, the shift of energy, dominance from the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of America, all of this is calculated around the same philosophy, which is that the American government should serve the people who elected it and not anybody else. Doesn't mean we can't be friends with everybody else. But the government you pay for should actually give you something in return for it, not just give away everything you have.
Sandy Rios Ron, let me ask you a question. I, why do you think now Donald Trump could be that elite sect? He graduated from an Ivy League, university, you know, and he came from a wealthy family, and he had every, everything possible. He was multi millionaire on his own by the time he was, I don't know, early 20s or 25 or whatever. And he could have been, one of the kinds of people that think that you and I and the Workmen on his buildings. he knows better. And so they should do. He should control them. What do you think there is about him that makes him more one of the people, even though on paper he's not?
Rod Martin Yeah, it's really remarkable. And this is really part of what flummoxes the normal beltway elites here. You know, they have invested their life into getting degrees from the Kennedy School at Harvard and working their way up the ladder and proving their expertise by writing white papers nobody reads. And here comes this guy who, you know, did real estate development and just worked with blue collar construction workers. And when you get to know him, if you spend any time with him personally, he is a genuinely humble guy. He's not the character he plays on tv, but that character offends them to their core. Who does he think he is and why does he think he can overrule our expertise? Well, okay, let's just start with what you said. This is a guy who has a degree from Wharton and he isn't a slouch. He also, you know, the joke is, you know, how do you make a small fortune start with a large fortune? This is a guy who absolutely inherited some money, but it was a tiny fraction of what he turned it into. He has been wildly successful in countless areas, and not just areas of business, but areas around the globe. So he knows who these people are. He's met them, he's done deals with them. he knows how they think, and he knows how to negotiate a good deal for America. And, honestly, our expert class probably can't negotiate to buy a car. I mean, they're idiots when it comes to anything practical. And so everything about him is offensive to everything they've done with their life. And it just, it just absolutely blows them away. So. So he is making massive changes and it connects with the American people precisely because his entire life has been spent connecting with regular people and motivating them to do amazing things.
Sandy Rios Yeah, well, the proof on, that is in the pudding, as they say. And let's talk about this. We're talking about this new world reorder. So let's talk about the world for a second. And I was thinking, oh, just sketching here, you know, what, what, how has he affected the world order already? I think of Venezuela, you know, I think of South America is shifting. You know, the, elections are, because USAID has been defunded. They're not winning. The left is not winning all those elections in South America. And Russia even is China. He's attacked China. I bet China is really on, on their heel all the time because they definitely don't know how to figure him out. And so, just give us more. I gave. That's a sketch. What do you see as how he has already reordered this world?
Rod Martin You know, the most consequential thing, is probably China, which you just mentioned. China is the great geopolitical threat of our day and we spent the last 30 years pretending that they were our friends. They're not anybody's friends. Ask Iran and Venezuela if they're anybody's friends. It's a joke. They didn't show up for their so called allies at all. Not only that, but their weapons in Iran and Venezuela got destroyed in about a millisecond. It was ridiculous. Ask Russia. Russia has been the victim of China's predatory embrace since it foolishly launched this war in Ukraine. China hasn't sent troops to help. Xi Jinping was talking about, you know, an alliance without limits when he wanted Russia to go get in this war. Well, now we know why. They have absolutely raped and pillaged Russia by forcing them to pay for basic necessities at a, ridiculous rate in hard currency. Not rubles, but yuan. Not just yuan, but their gold reserves. And they buy energy from Russia, but only at a steep discount. These aren't the actions of a friend. So if they treat their allies that way, how are they going to treat us? And this is a country that is rapidly building up its nuclear threat. We've seen its arsenal triple in 10 years. They're on track to be at, ah, parity, within just a few years with Russia and the United States, which completely blows up all of the arms control math. They're on track to build nine aircraft carriers, we only have 11. And they can concentrate forces around Taiwan while we have to patrol the whole world. So Trump has been brilliant at saying, no, they're not our friend. They're an evil regime that has murdered 65 million of its own people and is currently engaging in genocide against the Uyghurs, is currently doing live organ harvesting of dissidents like the Falun Gong and the Christians over there, actually just torturing them to death by stealing their organs without anesthetic while they're still living. This is an evil, evil place. And if you don't contain them, if you don't take them seriously, and if you don't rebalance trade with them, eventually they're going to dominate the world. Donald Trump is the man who changed Washington's mind on this. And if you don't see how, honestly, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama, Biden just gave away the store to the Chinese Communist Party. You're just not awake. This is a sea change in American foreign policy and it gives us a shot at a future.
Sandy Rios Well, let me just reiterate that because we have such short memories, Rod. But ever since, Donald Trump entered, the race to be president, before that, even as a businessman, he always talked about China. No one was talking about China the way he talked about China. they were always pushing, you know, it's a mess. And so many of them were Republicans, as you just described, like George W. Bush, George H. Herbert, George Herbert Walker Bush, they just salivated all over China and refused to call what it out, what it really was. So Donald Trump was like a, that was like Dracula with the cross. You know, I mean, businessmen recoiled and I says, I don't think people really understand. Now businesses of American business are pull. Businesses are pulling out of China and coming back home because of incentives, incentives that Donald Trump is offering. So that's huge. I mean, if that's all he did, Rod, that would, that would be an amazing thing. But that's not all he's done.
Rod Martin No, it's not. And Sandy, you just hit a really important point. He's not just dealing with foreign policy as foreign. You know, he's integrating his approach to foreign policy with his approach to domestic policy. So it's not just that you contain China, it's that you look at our critical dependencies on them in rare earth elements. For instance, you can't build an iPhone without rare earths. You can't build an F35 without rare earths. And yet 92% of the world's rare earths are refined in China. How did we let that happen? America has enough rare earths to be able to supply 85% of the world's needs. And we have been producing basically zero for decades. And Trump is fixing that. And when he fixes that, that creates American jobs. When he forces the pharmaceutical companies to move their plants from China to the United States, he's creating really, really good, high paying American jobs. When he goes out and recruits $18 trillion of investment from our allies all over the world. Nobody's ever done anything like that. There was only a trillion dollars of investment total into the United states in all four years of Biden. Donald Trump went and got 18 trillion. That's like two thirds of the entire size of the American economy in 10 months. And it's coming in and it's building plants, all those manufacturing plants that we were told could never ever come back to America. Well, they are. And not just that, but, you know, I have a deep dive out on rodmartin.org this morning on the shipbuilding crisis. China has 232 times our shipbuilding capacity. Donald Trump is turning that back around. They're able to build this crazy naval buildup so blooming fast because we let them dominate that industry. Donald Trump is bringing it back. Well, okay, I'm sorry. Nuclear pipefitters make good money and when they do, they're able to actually, this should matter to American Family Radio. That means that they can support a family on one income again with a blue collar job that makes a difference in the world that matters, that provides dignity and, and doesn't require them to be a dependent of the government, which is what the Democrats want. This is transformative and it's all of a piece. The foreign policy and the domestic policy work together.
Sandy Rios Before we leave this, because this is kind of the theme of the book, Trump's NewSong World Reorder. What other place on the globe. There are lots of choices. Could you, do you, would you like to describe the impact that he said? We could just talk about the attack on Iran and the, the man switching. The upheaval in the Middle east that he has brought about is amazing. Isn't.
Rod Martin Really is. And I realize the Iran war isn't super popular right now. Give it a year and it will be because we have. We're cutting off the head of the snake. There is not an armed conflict in the entire Middle east that isn't funded, armed and directed from Tehran. Not one. If you're talking about Hamas, if you're talking about Hezbollah, if you're talking about the Houthis, if you're talking about the Shia militias in Iraq, if you're talking about the attacks on Riyadh, if you're talking about the chaos in the Syrian civil war that has now finally ended. wherever you look, it all is made in Iran. So, people are gonna notice that this was a really good thing here in six months or a year when that's all stuck, sorted out. But it's also really good for Texas and Louisiana. As I said, the center of gravity of the entire global energy industry has been shifted somewhat irrevocably from the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of America. All of those new supply contracts are 20 year contracts. When this war is over, that doesn't change. Texas and Louisiana are going to be putting on new employment for decades over what's happening. But it's not just that. As you noted, Donald Trump brokered eight peace deals in eight months. Several of the wars that he brokered an end to had been going on for 30 or 40 years, and no one ever did anything. Donald Trump is committed to peace. He calls it. He called it in his Riyadh speech. Commerce, not chaos. We can all prosper together if we will just lay down our swords. And that's the world he's creating. And a key part of that, you see it in Europe, you see it in East Asia, is actually demanding that our allies be partners, not depend on us. the Germans were showing up at NATO exercises with broomsticks because they didn't bother to buy enough rifles for their army. That's a sick joke. The British now have twice as many admirals as warships. That's ridiculous. They're not partners. They're teenagers living in our basement. And Donald Trump is kicking them out and making them get a job. That's what. What the 5% of GDP commitment is at NATO. Making them actually help pay for their own defense means that when it matters, if there really is a crisis, we don't have to be deployed everywhere, protecting the planet. We can show up with the decisive force that changes the outcome in a favorable way because the locals are strong. That's what we want for our friends. We want them to be strong. We want them to be rich. We want them to have big armies so that nobody attacks them and nobody requires that American teenagers go bleed and die to save them because they were strong enough to deter an attack in the first place. And all of those allied forces work together to secure the free world, to contain people who would disturb the peace. Like Putin in Ukraine, like Xi Jinping talking about invading Taiwan. We can prevent that. And you saw what weakness did. Weakness brought you the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban. Weakness brought you the invasion of Ukraine. Weakness will bring a true catastrophe in if we let it. Donald Trump is fixing that all over the world in a sustainable way that doesn't just drain the American taxpayer.
Sandy Rios You know, as you're talking, I can't help but think about Europe, especially Paris right now, France. we are looking at a very serious, potential outcome, probably very likely outcome of an Islamic takeover of France. And Putin's response. Putin, Macron's, response. Speaking of weakness, you, know, I know you know this, Rod, but he and his wife went to a Celine Dion concert in Paris Friday night while the riots were going on. And, And. And when he, Talked, he's, I think it's, I don't know if it's the latest statement because it's probably a couple of days. The statement he issued to the people was that we need to negotiate, with the I don't know what word he used, but the riot, the insurrectionists, I don't know what word, but we need to negotiate. I mean that's one of the reasons they're in so much trouble, because they have had weak minds and weak resolve and they're going to be overtaken. And I don't know what America's response to that could be, Rod, because they got themselves into this and I don't think we can get them out.
Rod Martin Well, we increasingly hear this term suicidal empathy and that's exactly what we're seeing here. Macron also said that there's no such thing as French culture.
Sandy Rios He did.
Rod Martin Cultures in France and they're all equal. Well no they're not. I mean that's ridiculous. France has a 2000 year old culture. It's one of the great cultures of the world. It is worth defending. And there's no reason that you can't go have Islamic culture in any number of Islamic cultures, countries. Does it have to destroy the French culture? It's just absurd. Well, Macron's government was one of the very first to recognize the Palestinian state that does not exist, never has existed and isn't gonna. And now the Palestinians are recognizing France by burning it down. And it is absolutely deserved to be fair. I, hate to be mean, but the French voter elected this outcome. If they are losing cultural treasures, if they are losing multi hundred year old buildings, if all of these terrible things are happening, including lots of rapes and murders, they voted for that. They voted for that. For the last decade and a half. They imported all these people and said anybody who disagreed with them is a racist. I'm sorry, Islam is not a race. Islam is not a race. It's not being racist to say that people who hate you and want you to die shouldn't get to come live in your country. And so I actually have some hope for France because of the riots, because I think what this will do is it will guarantee that Marine Le Pen gets elected in France and you're going to see similar election results in other parts of Europe. And I think we might actually start getting a handle on this nightmare that they have unleashed upon themselves. I would add that it's worse than that though. I mean aside from the fact that you're quickly creating urabia you know, Francis, Stand, whatever. You know, the truth is that 15 years ago the European Union had a larger economy than the United States. Now it only has two thirds of the economy of the United States. That's incredible. That is a shocking devaluation of the standard of living of the average European. The average European is poorer than the average citizen of Mississippi. Actually, every European country has a lower per capita GDP than Mississippi, which is our 50th out of 50. So, it just tells you their policies don't work. Their policies are Biden on steroids. This can come to America too, if we let it in 2028. It is something we must avoid at all costs. Europe is a cautionary tale. Hopefully Europe can turn it around. But it's going to take things like this to wake the European citizens out of their slumber and make them, make electoral change. Hopefully we see Nigel Farage win in England. Hopefully we turn that around too. But what we really have to focus on is keeping this from happening to America.
Sandy Rios Exactly. You know, I was talking with someone yesterday about Macron and, what his motives are. Is he just really dumb? My personal opinion is that he's just, has the same mindset as George ah, Soros, or the World Economic Forum. It's like open borders. Just one world of all races. And so we can see, just as you described, how destructive and foolish, dangerous that is. It doesn't work. And I'm like you. I just pray that this is a, The poor Brits, I don't know what they're going to do, Rod, I don't know how they're going to, pull their country back. It seems like they've let it go so long, you know, having a Muslim mayor of London and all kinds of characters that are not. They don't love Britain. They don't love Britain. Just like we've got in this country too. But anyway, that's, I, I don't know what we're going to do about Europe and if there's anything we can do it, but. Makes me very sad. all right, so let's talk about some of the other. The titles in your table of contents are just great. Like, well, like, this is not so. This is not funny, but all Trump's roads lead to China and, that. And then, Oh, this is what I'd like to ask you about. This is just a random choice here. This is in part four and it's the Golden Dome and the coming obsolescence of nuclear weapons. Just talk about that, because that's different. Let's just move to that. The Golden Dome, of course was, I believe originated in Israel, although I think, we helped them develop that. I think, correct me if I'm wrong.
Rod Martin No, that's exactly right. And this is part of what the whole aid to Israel debate gets wrong. First of all, nearly 100% of the so called aid to Israel goes to buy US weapons from US manufacturers made by US workers. And then they get shipped to Israel where, you know, first of all, it's good to defend Israel. There are 10 million people in a sea of 300 million Muslims who want them to die. So, you know, that's good on its face. But more to the point, since all those people want them to die, the Israelis get to test ourselves stuff in combat and improve it. And they have done, tremendously. Whether you're talking about the F15 or the F35 or missile defense or whatever, nobody has more missiles fired at them than Israel. And they mostly shoot them down. Partly because of a seed of American tech, partly because of completely new Israeli tech, partly because we jointly developed that tech. So that comes home. The scandal of the last 80 years is that we have left the American people completely vulnerable to nuclear attack. Completely vulnerable. We even have a name for it. We call it mutual Assured destruction. And the whole theory is maybe those guys over there won't nuke us because we'd nuke them back. Well, okay, who's them? Well, them is the civilian population. We're holding each other's cities hostage and we have been for 80 years. It's evil, Sandy. It's just evil. And Ronald Reagan railed against this. That's what SDI was in the 80s. But the Democrats wouldn't fund it properly. And honestly, a lot of the technology we needed didn't exist yet. Well, it exists now. I mean, there was one day when The Iranians fired 300 ballistic missiles at Israel and we with Israel shot down 299 of them. That's just extraordinary. Now, if you have a handful of intercontinental ballistic missiles, the Iranians don't have any yet, but they're just on the brink of having them. Or they were before the beginning of the war because they'd already orbited a satellite. If you can orbit a satellite, you can fire a nuke at Kansas City. So if the Iranians have x number of ICBMs at some point and they're nuclear tipped and they know that we're able to shoot down 299 out of 300. Well, they can't very well start that war because they know all their stuff's getting shot down. And our stuff isn't going to get shot down. They might get lucky and hit something, but we're going to hit everything. And that's the thing. If we reach a point where we can shoot down incoming that's striking American cities, we can prevent anybody from even trying to strike American cities. That's the goal. We don't want war. We want peace, which you can only have if you're strong. Peace through strength. So what's happening is not only Trump's Golden Dome proposal, which will roll out a multi layered defense system, both based on the ground and based in orbit. So we shoot down whatever anybody shoots at us before it can hurt any American citizen. That's important. But where we're headed, and this is the point of the chapter, in the book that you referenced, where we're headed is an era of directed energy weapons. Yes. That's lasers. No kidding. And the Israelis have deployed this operationally since December. They can shoot down incoming missiles with lasers. It's early days. They're not super high power yet. They still have problems, you know, with interference from bad weather and all this kind of stuff. That won't be true in 15 years. In 15 years, we're going to be able to shoot down anything that might possibly come at us with a combination of lasers and missiles. And, this is the important point. The important point is those missiles cost anywhere from $4 million a shot all the way up to $83 million a shot. You just can only have so many of those, and the enemy can always build more to shoot at you. Not with lasers. With lasers, you're firing, you're shooting down their stuff for $2 a shot.
Sandy Rios Wow.
Rod Martin It completely transforms everything. And when the cost of defense is that cheap and the cost of offense is that expensive, again, offensive war becomes very nearly impossible. And a nuclear attack absolutely becomes impossible.
Sandy Rios Rod, did you say that the Israelis had used the laser yet? Did you say they already had that? Okay, all right.
Rod Martin It's operational. They call it Iron Beam. You know, they have their Iron Dome.
Sandy Rios Dome, yeah.
Rod Martin Anti missile system. This is Iron Beam. Trump's just rolling all that into Golden Dome because, you know, everything has to be golden. And that's appropriate because what I just described would, by any qualification, be a golden age. An age when we don't have to worry about whether we will be incinerated or irradiated in nuclear fire. That's pretty good compared to my whole lifetime. And that's where we're headed at breakneck speed.
Sandy Rios Rod, I want to ask you about something that's not positive, but I really want to know what you think about this. It puzzles me why, with Trump's, all of his abilities and above all, he's a fabulous businessman. Why the national debt is not a focus of, paying, paying off our debt because it's just growing and growing and growing. Can you just respond to that? I know we're bringing in billions of dollars, but shouldn't that be applied to the debt or.
Rod Martin No, it is a focus, but it's the same thing that Ronald Reagan taught us. And for that matter, you mentioned George Gilder and Art Laffer and Larry Kudlow. All these great men showed us the way. And the way certainly should include cutting spending. We've struggled with that partly because of the 60 vote rule in the Senate. The Democrats just do not want that to happen. Likewise, razor thin margin in the House of Representatives, very difficult to pass any kind of appropriation bill. That isn't a compromise, it just is what it is. But that's not the only way you can attack this. We attacked this in the 90s because we had this tremendous upset. Thank you, Newt Gingrich. And all of a sudden we controlled both houses of Congress with, ah, pretty healthy margins. And we backed Bill Clinton into a corner and he decided, you know, if you can't beat them, join them, and I'll take. So he did, and we were able to cut spending. But the bigger issue was reforming regulatory environment, tax environment, all the different things that prevent people from making money or at least prevent them from not having to pay all their money to the US Treasury. By doing that, we actually created tremendous economic growth in the late 90s, the result of which was the tax revenues went up. Because if there's more economic activity, even at a lower tax rate, you actually get more tax revenue. It's a crazy thing, you know, do you want 100% of next to nothing, or do you want a small percentage of some enormous number? I mean, that's the idea. So in the late 90s, we were successful in not only balancing the budget, but running budget surpluses for four straight years. It's the only time like it, I think, in American history. And a bunch of that money went to paying down the debt. Now, 9, 11 blew all that up and we've been spending like drunken sailors ever since. That's just where we are. But the principle is the same. And Donald Trump has removed trillions of dollars of regulatory Burden from the American economy. Donald Trump is rebuilding manufacturing. Donald Trump slashed taxes so that we have, instead of what the Democrats were proposing, which would have been the largest tax hike in American history, we got the largest tax cut in American history. And it takes a minute for that to percolate through the system. But you end up with this industrial super cycle that we're seeing form. You're talking about decades of growth if we don't screw it up. And as a result of that, you have vastly greater tax revenues and you start knocking down the debt. Not just the deficit. The deficit is how much more we spend each year than we take in. The debt is that long term thing that we're now spending a trillion dollars a year just in interest. Oh my gosh, you have to get that under control. But you can't do it at a 1.6% rate of GDP growth like you had under Obama. And Obama told you that that's just the new normal and you just have to deal with that. Well, that's why young people haven't had opportunity. That's why young people haven't been able to buy a house. That's why you have all the problems you have versus the average of 3.4%. So more than double Obama era economic growth. 3.4% was the norm from World War II all the way to Obama. And Donald Trump is getting us there. The GDP now estimate for this quarter is an annualized 4.6% growth. At that rate, you could pay off the debt in 20 years. I mean, not eliminate the deficit. Oh yes, you do that. Totally eliminate the debt in 20 years time. That's extraordinary. And that's the plan. So yeah, it would be nice if we elected a little bigger Republican majority in both houses and we actually cut some of the stupid spending. But you can grow your way out of this and we proved it for four straight years in the 90s.
Sandy Rios Well, I think we should just talk, just briefly, just in closing here, Rod, about the future. Because you do write about that, about what that realignment is going to look like and the resistance to the realignment. So just say a word about that. What do you think? I know you don't have a crystal ball, but you have a very good perspective on the economics and I always learn so much when I talk to you, Rod. But, thank you. Yeah. So the future. We got an election coming up and then we have life beyond that election. So what do you sense? I don't even, I'm not even asking you who's going to win the midterms, because who knows? But, what do you see as the, what the long term realignment is going to be, a result of a President Donald Trump, the reorder.
Rod Martin God is sovereign, but we are not. So any prediction of the future is dangerous. But here's where we are. We've seen an historic realignment of Hispanics toward the Republican Party. Trump's numbers with Hispanics right this minute aren't that great, but he won the largest percentage of Hispanics in the history of any Republican candidate for president ever. we see a significant uptick in Christianity among Gen Z men that has tremendous effects over time. There's never been a time when you had a generation, not in 300 years, when more of the men of a generation were Christians than the women. that has tremendous impact on family formation, on just leadership. I mean, when husbands and fathers lead their wives and children go to church, and when they do, they become conservative. So all these things work together. What we're seeing also the 2020 census was rigged. it was so bad.
Sandy Rios Exactly. Yes, it was.
Rod Martin Bureau admits it. So we look, if you look at the 2030 census, the movement of people from California to Texas and Florida, all these different factors, I think you see a dramatic upswing in the number of just naturally Republican districts, ah, House districts and also Republican electoral votes. So if we can just get out to that 2032 election, if we can just get out past that, I think you have a fundamentally Republican realignment that is conservative, not just economically around defense, but socially as well. I think we really are on the brink of that golden age he's promising if we just don't see screw it up in the handful of years in between. So I'm very bullish on the future, but we got a lot of work to do in 26 and in 28.
Sandy Rios Ah, copy that. I agree with you totally, Rod. And so let me just say in closing, the book is Trump's NewSong World Reorder. Trump's NewSong World Reorder. And the author is Rod Martin, who's been talking to us today. And if you would like to see, by the way, the Rod Martin Report, just go to rodmartin.com org org rob
Rod Martin martin.org or trumps new world reorder.com and, we can get you fixed up with, with a book and we can, we can also get you daily geopolitical analysis. Fox Business Calls absolutely phenomenal. So come to rodmartin.org and trumps new world reorder.com or just go to Amazon or Barnes and Noble or wherever you buy books, all right?
Sandy Rios It's just hot off the press, so. So hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry. Remember that. Anyway, Rod, it's great to talk to you today. Oh, it is today.
Rod Martin First interview today.
Sandy Rios Sandy, are you kidding me? I didn't know that. Well, that's a real compliment, Rod. Thank you. And I, you know, I wish you all the best on this book. I told you off air that I think this book could be a number one bestseller. I really do, because you're a great writer and you have great thoughts and you have a way of saying things that may help, that people can understand the complexity if they just listen to you. So thank you for that. All right, Rod, thank you and God bless you.
Rod Martin I really appreciate you.
Sandy Rios Okay, I same back to you. All right, Sandy rios on Sandy Rios 24. 7.
Rod Martin This is Sandy Rios 24. 7 on American Family Radio.
Sandy Rios You know, there's another way to help reborn. And you know, it is $28 for one ultrasound to show moms and, oh, gosh, they do such great work. I'm so proud that they're our sponsor. But, actually some of you have more resources than others. And if you're a business owner or just someone who has, more wealth, maybe you saved a lot and you have money to give or you have money that you could actually spare. would you consider a larger donation to claim a write off? You know, you can give 1,000, 2,000, 10,000, 15,000, any suggested amount like that, more than the $28. those amounts will sponsor an ultrasound machine for a needy clinic. I was just talking to a friend, recently who lives in southern southern Illinois. She said, we don't have anything like that. Southern Illinois. And there are so many abortions happening. So if you'd like to provide the money to buy one of those ultrasounds, just go to preborn.com sandy and just give what you can, okay? Just be generous. I think it's really fun to give, actually. Bruce and I try to give as much as we can. And, it is, I don't know, it just feels right. And so if this feels right to you and you have resources, go to preborn.com sandy and make your most generous donation.
Rod Martin The Sandy Rios 24. 7 podcast are available at afr.net back to Sandy Rios 24. 7 on American Family Radio. Is there anything more French than lighting your cigarette off of a, ah, riot fire?
Sandy Rios No.
Speaker D It is the ultimate in let them have eat cake. you know, you know There are, obviously there are a lot of things going on here and I think that you put your finger on the most important thing and that is that the legacy media wants to make this all about students and and, and the cost of living and things like that. They do not want to recognize the most important thing that's going on here. And it is the, the invitation to millions of illegals, millions of foreigners from around the world into their country. And what happens to them, of course they wind up on welfare. And obviously France is a notoriously welfare state. This is the kind of thing that kind of happens in a welfare state. But when you have hordes and hordes from foreign countries who do not care about French culture, culture do not care about France and they come here, this is the result of it. And I have to say Jesse, as I've watched all of this unfold, I just say a prayer and thank God that we have Donald Trump as president. Because Donald Trump, not only does he has he fixed our own border, but he is willing to talk about the real issue here which no other politician, none of these politicians and none of the legacy media wants to talk about. And if Donald Trump isn't careful, he's going to want, you know, we talk about Trump 2028 just to make liberals in America lose their minds. If he's not careful, he's going to win a write in election and get elected president of France after all of this. Because normal people look at this and they don't want this. And the whole world knows that Donald Trump is the only world figure who is willing to call out what the problem is and actually make the hard choices to do something about it.
Sandy Rios Well, I had to just play that again. Charlie Hurt. I love that because I think right now with France burning the way it is, you know, they are now going into houses, you know, the French citizens can't defend themselves. They don't have guns, they don't have weapons. So everybody is just at the mercy of these mobsters who are intent on killing and destroying. So that's because of terrible weakness in the French culture. I think it is. You know there's always been, oh, they all talk about love, you know, and whatever else. I mean it's not. Their history is not a, very moral one. When you think about their revolution was bloody and horrible, vindictive. They hung people. Even if they just thought somebody was had too much money, they would hang them. Brutality, and then of course their morals back in the, remember the old, the faces that were painted and this men wore makeup just like the women with powdered wigs. And that was during the time when Charlie mentioned let them eat cake. That's what Marie Antoinette. Marie Antoinette, said when her husband was just. The people were writing, they were hungry, and she, of course, had everything. And from the palace, she said, let them eat cake. So, they ended up getting. She got beheaded, and so did her husband, because they got it all wrong, I think. But there's a lot of indulgence there, and that's kind of their history. Well, that clip was from Jesse, Waters show with Charlie Hurt. And before they started talking, they showed a clip, video clip of two people having coffee and smoking in a restaurant. And the door was open. and if you look beyond the table and beyond the door, you see people, fire everywhere. Everything's burning. And these people are chatting over their coffee. And that. It's just. I think that is really, you know, it's laissez affaire, and it's just whatever. And I think France is suffering from that. And they have terrible leadership. I saw a meme, that said, don't France my America. Don't France my America. Don't France my America. I thought that was a pretty good comment, or, observation. And we know, you must know that it will take strong leadership to navigate this very wicked world, both in other countries as well as our own. It's just filled with villains and people that would kill everyone. They just have to satiate their bloodlust. And so we are lucky. We are very, very lucky to have a president like Donald Trump. he's a very strong leader, and, you know, even think about this. He didn't relent on the oil. I know gas is going up. It's the number one thing that people are upset about. And Diesel. but rather than capitulate to the Iranians, here the election comes, and the prices, especially for Diesel, are still very high. Gasoline's coming down. he chose to stay the course because he knows he can't give in to the Iranians, and he was risking election. I think that's something to really consider. Well, all right, I've said enough. I hope you enjoyed this show, and I want to remind you that, PreBorn is our sponsor. Just go to preborn.com sandy and make your most generous donation. Well, thank you for listening to today's edition of Sandy Rios 24 7. It.
It.
