God, prayer, and the understanding that mankind is created in God’s image have become so foreign to some, that MS Now’s Katy Tur was so bewilderedSpeaker Mike Johnson’s prayer during the “Rededicate 250” rally that she said:

What about this passage from Mike Johnson declaring that our rights do not derive from government? “They come from you, our creator and heavenly father.” Is this him putting God over the Declaration of Independence? (emphasis added)

How many more of our countrymen have no fundamental understanding of our founding and our Declaration of Independence?
