Dr. Jessica Peck: What tone are your words setting in your home? Complaint or gratitude? First, Thessalonians 5:18 tells us to give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Gratitude doesn't ignore hard things, it reframes them. Scripture calls us to speak thankfulness, not just feel it. When gratitude becomes a daily habit, it shifts the atmosphere of your home. It softens stress, redirects perspective, and reminds your family that even in imperfect moments, God is still at work. Your words have the power to anchor your family in hope. Today, I challenge you to intentionally speak three things you're grateful for out loud in front of your family. Make gratitude visible and contagious. How might your family begin to change if gratitude becomes the biggest and most powerful voice in your home? Try it out and I'll see you on the doctor nursemama show here on American Family Radio.
