Darkness and Light: Believers as Ambassadors in a Fallen World
Abraham Hamilton III Darkness is not an affirmative force.
Abraham Hamilton III It simply reoccupies the space vacated by the light.
Abraham Hamilton III This is the, Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
Abraham Hamilton III It should be uncomfortable for a believer to live as a hypocrite,
Abraham Hamilton III delivering people out of the bondage of mainstream media and the philosophies of this world.
Abraham Hamilton III God has called you and me to be his ambassadors, even in this dark moment. Let's not miss our moment.
Abraham Hamilton III And, now, the Hamilton Corner.
The Eve of Election Day: Host Introduction and Show Staff Recognition
Abraham Hamilton III Good evening, everyone. Welcome to the Hamilton Corner. Abraham Hamilton III is my name. I am the host of the Hamilton Corner, joining you live in studio with the Corner contingent on midterm election day eve which will culminate this electoral season. This election season. I'm still not used to saying that, and I know the reality, but I'm not used to saying that still. but we're on the eve of its, excuse me, culmination tomorrow. Even though, unfortunately in some states it begins the time of hurry up and wait as they count and they count and they count. It's not like they knew this day was coming, you know, like, I don't know, it's not like you had advance notice that this thing was going to happen, you know, wrapping up on or about November 3rd, you know, so sometimes things sneak up on you, you know, you gotta adjust on the fly, you know, even though Florida can count. Well, I don't know. 30 minutes by constitution, millions. That's right. But anyway, love it. Thank you for tuning into the program. Right across from me is my man, 100 grand, Mr. M. Bobby Roza. And in the screening room, produce extraordinaire, never, ever, ever successfully duplicated. But he is often imitated. But this him is the real J. Mac. This him is the real. You heard that, Hill is the real J. Mac.
Cultivating Outcomes: Intentionality, Family, Civic Duty, and Discipleship
And we're ready to rock and roll with today's edition of the program. At this very moment, many of you, if not most of you, are making your transition from your part time jobs where you generate an income, to your full time jobs where you cultivate an outcome. And as you do so, I would like to remind you to do so with intentionality, understanding the primacy that God places on family in welcoming his view, to govern, to guard and to guide your view. I would encourage you, if you have not done so before, to allow your children to accompany you as you go to cast your vote, to introduce them to their civic responsibilities under our Constitution, within our constitutional, within our constitutional republican form of government. it is one of the, simple ways to make civic duty tangible. it's something that I've been doing with my children for quite some time, and it leads to some pretty significant dialogue. and with the necessity of communicating, prepared voting. I'll sit down and I'll show them, the ballots and people that are running for various offices and things of that nature. We'll talk about federalism. We'll talk about the system of checks and balances and things of that nature. it provides a great opportunity to have those conversations. So, as you're preparing to cast your ballot, I would encourage you to do likewise. And the reason why I say what I say daily simply is because it's true. What goes on in your house is more important than what goes on in the White House. not because the things that are happening in the White House are unimportant, but we are creating. We are. Let me say it better. We are invested with the primary responsibility of cultivating disciples generationally. That discipleship investment will set the tone for what will be the. What type of people will comprise our constitutional republic.
The Power of Influence: Combating Deception and Directing National Course
We have a say so in this. You know, are we, creating the types of people generationally who would be deceived by an Abdul Said ad? You know, when the price of bananas. Well, you know the reason for that, this military aid to Israel. That's the problem with the price of bananas. That's why bananas so high, even though we've been giving military aid to Israel before the banana prices went up. Don't confuse us with facts, man. You know, we're making that type of investment, and for far too long, many people are dissuaded. I would say, not merely persuaded, but dissuaded into thinking that, well, we are just helpless and hopeless and there's nothing we can do about what goes on in our own country. And that's just not true. It's not true. I would argue fervently that God has planted us here to help to direct the course of our nation. And rest assured, if believers refuse to do so. Darkness is not an affirmative force, but it does reoccupy the space that is vacated by the light. If believers refuse to set the course for our country, the course will be set.
Biblical Mandate for Prayer: Interceding for Leaders and All People
And I will submit to you that we will not enjoy that course. To the word of God we go. First Timothy, chapter two. First Timothy, chapter two, verse one is where we're going to begin the program today. First Timothy, chapter two, verse one. Just a reminder, from the Lord's Word that applies every day, including today, tomorrow, and the days thereafter. First Timothy, chapter two, verse one. This is what the Lord's Word says. First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings be made on behalf of all for kings and all who are in authority. I'm sorry. I didn't read that properly. Let me go back and start over. First of all, then, I, urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men, all men for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator also between God and men.
The Apostle Paul's Counsel: Prayer, Leadership, and the Christian's Role
The man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all the testimony given at the proper time. I've explained this text before on the air here, the scripture here, the Spirit of God is moving the apostle Paul to communicate as a matter of first importance to Timothy. All right. Timothy, grows to become an elder in the church at Ephesus. And Paul is sharing this, with him, at leader to leader, if you will, within the context of their discipleship relationship. First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers and petitions and thanksgivings. Paul lists these various types of prayers, not intending for them to be an exhaustive list, but for them to be representative of different types of prayer. What the apostle Paul is saying is that all manner of prayer should be offered. Then he says, what should be the, focus of that prayer? All manner of prayer should be offered on behalf of all men. So, right, in, verse one, Paul is literally communicating. All manner of prayer should be offered for all manner of people. Then, as a subset of the types of people that should be included in this all manner of prayer, Paul explains in verse two that it should include kings and all who are in authority so that we may lead a, tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. Now, first, I start with the end of verse 2 before I get to the first part of it. When the apostle Paul uses the terms that are translated into English as tranquil and quiet, he does not mean silent, okay?
Unimpeded Life: How Civic Participation Enables the Great Commission
The words, the Greek terms there literally mean an unimpeded and unhindered life as a believer. This is one of the major reasons why it is necessary for believers to participate in our civic processes. Because, unlike Christians within the Roman Empire, we get to contribute, to decide who sets Policy. The setting of policy is what will directly impact your neighbor and yourself. That policy will ultimately have a direct impact on the quality with which you will be able to execute the Great Commission in our country, for example, you may not think about it, but when you have hostile financial policies, for example, that extract more of your resources from you, that is a removal of resources that you could have deployed in Great Commission execution endeavors. You understand, when you have various policies we're experiencing, we have experienced, and we experience it now, a lot of the conversation about affordability, it impacts your ability to utilize resources in God in a God honoring manner. You know, when the scripture says a good man leaves an inheritance for his children's children, that inheritance is not confined or limited to material monetary inheritance, but it does not exclude that. You see, policies matter because people matter. You know, the great commandment to love the Lord with all that we are the second to love our neighbor as ourselves. Our engagement in setting policy for our nation aids in our ability to love our neighbor.
Praying for Leaders: The Impact of Governance on Believers' Lives
According to the biblical instruction and guidelines, then going back up to the beginning of verse two, which is all types of prayer, all manner of prayer should be offered for all manner of people. Included in that all manner of people are ah, kings and all who are in authority. It's instructive for us to note that when the Apostle Paul is writing this, Nero is the king of the Roman Empire. So this command for God's people to pray is not determined by whether or not we personally like the people who are in positions of servant leadership. But notice the prayer is discharged, charged in such a way so that the believer is not impeded or hindered in our pursuit of life on this side of eternity. So we are praying for leadership which if you how people need prayer man M Goodness gracious, we need prayer. But the Lord is explaining to us here that the quality or the lack thereof of the leadership in the places where we live will directly affect the quality of the believers lives. That what the Bible is explaining to us.
God's Desire for Salvation: Praying for Officials and Leaders' Transformation
That's why sitting out is really not an option. God says this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior in verse three, who desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. I'm reading this here because the scripture's giving us an indication as to how we should be praying. You know, a lot of our prayer should be lord, save our elected officials. Lord save Senator so and so Representative so and so the President Save them, Lord. The prayer should also include lord, raise up leaders who are saved. So that believers man these various positions of servant leadership, armed with a biblical worldview to execute policies that will benefit eternally, most importantly, the people in our nation and secondarily, temporally. So that would mean we should not adopt policies that hinder the proclamation of the gospel. We should not adopt policies that hinder the execution of the Great Commission, Verse 5. For there is one God and one mediator, also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all the testimony given at the proper time. Guys, we have an opportunity.
Navigating Shenanigans: Prayer's Role Amidst Election Uncertainty and Deception
And I know I say this, I've said it before, and I'm going to continue to say it with all of the shenanigans that are happening around us, with all of the craziness. I mean, you got the Decoy Dan going on in Alaska. You have the Minnesota state, government saying, you know what, James o' Keefe and Cam Higbee, y' all want to try to expose the vouching system we got going on here? How about this? How about a few felonies for you? In what world? You have the media and in many instances, many pollsters trying to create an environment that causes you to think, well, surely the elections must have this result ahead of us. You know, I would just remind you, I mean, when she Shall Never Be President was denied the Oval Office, what did all the polls say then? Didn't they kind of make it seem like it was inevitable? I just. Listen, I understand the polls. I think they have a role to play, but they're not the ultimate determiner, as to what happens. And I would submit to you, more than reviewing the polls, you should probably spend time praying. I think that that is good advice.
God's Unfinished Work in America: A Listener Supported Broadcast Announcement
And the Lord has shown us that as much as many people have tried to say the end of America was imminent, God has a way of reminding us that he is the one who rules and reigns in the affairs of America. And I'll just tell you, God is not done with our country. I'll say that unequivocally. God is not done with our country. First of all, I urge that entreaties and prayers and petitions and thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men. Hello, I'm Abraham Hamilton iii. Did you know that this content is listener supported? Tragic Learjet Crash: A Devastating Accident in Palm Beach County, Florida
Abraham Hamilton III Shining light into the dark. This is the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
Abraham Hamilton III Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner. Abraham Hamilton III here. Some of you might have seen this story, some of you may not have seen it. really yesterday afternoon there was ah, a Learjet, that departed from the Austin Texas area en route to the Bahamas that had nine passengers on board. And the jet, the private jet, crashed in Palm, Beach County Florida creating a pretty significant crater really in the roadside there. I'm not going to play the video of the crash because it is pretty, pretty significant in that it looked like, you know, looked like a missile really hitting the ground. the onboard pilot that was a main pilot and then you had an assistant pilot, 20 year old young lady who became a pilot straight out of high school. but she wasn't the one in charge of the flight.
Pilot's Calm Before the Storm: Ice Accumulation and Mayday Call in Deadly Crash
It was an old gentleman pilot who was leading the flight and he could be heard on the audio recording from the plane just minutes before the crash, speaking rather calmly frankly and explaining that his plane had accumulated ice. There was ice that had accumulated on the aircraft, and the aircraft would bounce with what he described at the time, moderate turbulence, about 700ft. And then minutes later the same pilot can be heard on the audio recording in a bit more panicked tone, crying mayday, mayday. We're descending 10,000ft per minute. Then immediately after you could hear him further saying we're in an overspeed condition, descending 20,000ft per minute and we're going to crash into the ground. You could hear all of that audio and shortly after that audio was recorded, the jet crashed into the ground in Palm Beach County, Florida. Listen to and watch Governor Ron DeSantis speaking after the plane crash in which nine people, nine people died as a result of this crash yesterday. Clip number four. Clip four, go. Okay,
Abraham Hamilton III so we are here on site. obviously this was a cataclysmic plane crash. It looked like a missile going down. It left a big crater on the side of the road. I want to commend the Palm, Beach County Sheriff's Department as well as the fire rescue. They were here immediately. there was a lot of debris that was spewn as a result of this crash. as of now we don't have any reports of anyone who was on the ground apart from the people in the plane who were killed or injured as a result of debris. But the debris was significant and it went over a pretty significant distance.
A Fallen World: The Reality of Mortality and the Pursuit of Eternal Life
Abraham Hamilton III That report by the Governor has held true through this current time period. there were no reports of any, unrelated persons on the ground in Palm Beach County, Florida, who suffered injuries as a result of the plane crashing there. the people who passed, whose lives were lost were all passengers on the plane. there was audio. You could hear, the pilot in the background, reciting scripture, some of the audio. And it's just a reminder of the reality of the fallen world that we live in. And, I pray everybody in this audience, man, that we come to face the reality that God made humankind for eternity, for eternal life. And much of the satanic deception is to persuade people into a false notion. A, false notion that this life is all that there is to live. All that there is to live.
Made for More: Our Bodies' Resilience and the Human Desire for Significance
I mentioned about the fatalities being limited to the airplane. There may be additional reports that come out that shows others might have been injured as a result of the impact of the plane when it crashed. Haven't seen those reports yet, but they very well could be forthcoming. we have indications, man. the scripture tells us that death is a product of the foreign invader called sin into the human experience. And even our physical bodies give us indications that we were made for more than the here and now. You know, you have a scrape on your leg or your arm, your body's blood cells work together to clot and. And to stop the bleeding in that spot. And then your skin works to regenerate, to build itself. Those are little indications of the fact that we were made for eternity. You know, think about it in terms of if you had a vehicle that had a small, you know, say, a parking lot fender bend or something, you have a small dent in the side of your vehicle, and then your vehicle pops its own dent out. You know, that's what our bodies do, man, because we are made for more than the here and now. The desire that we have as humans for significance, you know, for our lives to count for something, you know, the desire for things like respect and human dignity. These are. These are things that are not native to fallenness.
A Call to Faith: Recognizing Eternity's Impact on Our Present Lives
They are hardwiring from our king to help us to understand that we were made for more than the here and now. You know, that's why we have passages, like, in Ecclesiastes 7. Better to go to the house of mourning than to the house of feasting. Because this is the end of every man and the living. Take it to heart. My prayer for this audience, man, is that every single one of you who are listening to me or watching this show right now that you come to saving faith in Christ Jesus.
Tragedy and Testimony: Praying for Believers Amidst Debris and Political Shifts
Because the here and now is not all that there is to live for. And it is because eternity is real that it gives outside significance and importance to how we spend our time in the here and now. This notion of being so heavenly minded that you're no earthly good really is a misnomer. If you truly are heavenly minded, you'll be maximized earthly good because you understand, you understand that there is more than this to live for. I pray that the Lord comforts the family members of these nine people and I do not know them. I pray that they were believers, man. I pray that they were believers. The reports indicate that there was debris from the plane that began to come from the plane even before the crash as a result of the plane's compromised position even while it was still in the air. all right, all right, moving on. there was a bombshell yesterday politically, in Michigan, where you had, District 11 in Michigan Congressional District 11's recurrent representative Haley Stevens, who is a Democrat and she was a close opponent of Abdul Al said in the Democrat primary election for the US Senate.
Political Bombshell: Haley Stevens' Endorsement of Republican Mike Rogers
The US Senate seat that is available in. I'm sorry, the US Senate seat that is currently held by Senator Mike Rogers who is running for reelection. who's running for reelection there. And Haley Stevens, after she lost to Abdul Syed in the primary, immediately threw her support behind Al said she would support him. Well, things unfolded and according to what she explained, she saw Al Said becoming angrier and angrier and his campaign became more and more hate filled. This what she said. And she then saw his campaign ad to where the campaign ad attempted to say that the price of bananas was high because of US Aid to Israel. Yeah, yeah. So Haley Stevens condemned that ad and called on Abdul Said to condemn the ad. Twitch. Abdul said refused to condemn the ad and ultimately told her Haley Stevens that she was no longer welcome in his campaign. She appealed to Abdullah Sayed. And reports are out now that Alexandria, Ocasio, Cortez and Stevens spoke for nearly 25 minutes before Haley Stevens gave her endorsement to Mike Rogers. But in spite of all of that, Haley Stevens came out yesterday after attending a church service with Mike Rogers in Detroit, Michigan, stood before reporters and endorsed Republican incumbent U.S. senator Mike Rogers for the U.S. senate seat. Here's a portion of her announcement right here for you.
A Democrat's Choice: Standing for Country Over Party Lines in Michigan Senate Race
Listen to and watch clip number one. Clip one, go.
Haley Stevens Well, thank you and greetings to the press corps. My name's Haley Stevens. I'm a proud Democrat and, I am endorsing, Mike Rogers for the United States Senate. I am one vote in this state. Michigan is a swing state, and I have a divided household, as some of you have heard, up until last night. But even my own mother, cast her vote for Mike Rogers, as my own father cast his vote for Abdul. this is a very close election. We all know that. But Abdul made very clear that I was not welcome in his campaign, that he didn't need me there, that he didn't want me there. And at some point, you got to look at who's standing for country. You know, there's always a lot of elections taking place in America, and this is one. I'm going to cast my ballot. I still haven't done that. And 90% of the votes I'm going to cast are going to be for Democrats. My vote for Senate, I am just one vote, as is every Michigander. My vote for Senate is going to be with Mike Rogers. And I will tell you why. Because we have to stand with country. We can't stand with hate. We can't stand with Hasan Piker. A friend of mine was talking about how education is on the ballot. And it's very true.
Party Meltdown: Democrat Reactions to Haley Stevens' Cross-Party Endorsement
Abraham Hamilton III Did y' all hear what she said? As you might, as you probably can already anticipate, the Democrat Party is in full on meltdown over this. Why are you crying? I mean. Yes, why are you crying? They are crying quite aloud, quite a bit. I mean, they are in full on meltdown. She said that the thing that moved her over to vote for Mike Rogers, the Republican, to cross party lines and vote for Mike Rogers, is that at some point you have to stand for country. you have to stand for country. That's a shot across the bow right there. Is that not? Bobby is saying, that's a shot across the bow right there. Is that not a shot across the bow?
Moments of Clarity: Examining Motivations Behind Political Realignments
Now, forgive me, but, a, moment of personal privilege, you, Honor, as I consider out loud the implications of what Democrat Representative Haley Stevens is saying when she says the thing that moves her to vote for Mike Rogers is that you have to stand for country. Is she suggesting that Abdul, said does not stand for the United States of America? And in so doing, is she also saying in any of her fellow party members who stand with Al Said, ah, likewise, are not standing for the country? And if she is saying that, what is causing her at this last minute to have this, dare I say, moment of clarity? Now, listen, this is politics. There could be all kinds of motivations Some people might say, oh man, she's just, she's just taking a ball and going home because Abdul said he don't want her on the campaign anymore. You know, that could be it. M. All right, all right. But she's saying that it's at some point you have to consider country. I and I do think there's a realistic, realistic notion will that help Mike Rogers or not? And this is why the election season thing is an issue for me. Because how many people have already cast their ballots yet if they would have known how many, for example, how many constituents does Haley Stevens have in the 11th congressional district that have already voted in early voting but might have been influenced if they would have heard from their representative prior to doing so? Now again, I know some people are going to say Haley Stevens is not being genuine. She is personally motivated to do X, Y and Z whatever. But I want to invite you to you to consider. I don't care what they're saying. What do you think? Do you think Haley Stevens is being genuine? And if so, what would have motivated her to come out and say that Abdul said a vote for him would be a vote against standing with her country.
The Democrat Party's Outrage: Condemnation of Haley Stevens and Hasan Piker
She goes further and says that we cannot support hate and our party. Hasan Piker is being she. This is where she used trafficked across college campuses. Hassan Piker, you know the twitch streamer who bragged about in his words of being an anchor baby worth millions of dollars, said that the US deserved 911 describes himself as a communist. This has caused shockwaves of course in the political establishment, but especially the Democrat Party. You have the state Democrat Party saying they have now denounced Haley Stevens. She's no longer welcome the Democrat Party. Hakeem Jeffries, the Congressional M. Democrat party minority leader has said Haley Stevens has, has ended her career as a Democrat politician. It's amazing, man. They got more smoke for Haley Stevens than they ever had for, you know, the woman who just strangled her children to death. You know, this is, this is wild.

Election Night Coverage and Democrat Meltdown Over Internal Discourse
Election Night 2026 coverage begins at 6 on election night on American Family Radio.
Abraham Hamilton III the Hamilton Corner podcast and one minute commentaries are available at afr.net back to the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
Abraham Hamilton III Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner. Abraham Hamilton III here. A lot of the reasons why they're melting down on the Democratic side is because they don't want to, to have this discussion publicly. Because it's one thing if you have conservatives and, or Republicans complaining about, I don't know, the Sharia law advocating Abdul Syed and family, they can continue their tired old trope, oh, this is all about Islamophobia. This is all about bigotry. It's all about this. But then when you have one of their own card carrying members saying, hey yo, nah, it's not about that. We need to think about our country, snap. And then that causes a fissure and I believe a, part of the reason why you have the wagons being circled proverbially by the Democrat parties because they don't want any of the other members to come out and say out loud what they already know. Many of them think, or at least some of them think they are attempting to keep this, they want to put a lid, if you will, on this type of conversation because they don't want other Democrats to openly express their hesitations because you can no longer at that point, well, let me say it in their terminology, then the Islamicization of America becomes a bipartisan concern.
The Impact of Media Narratives: Influencing Elections and Political Discourse
And that's what they want to avoid. That's what they want to avoid. I'm going to share something else with you. And this, and this is, man, it's, it's, it gets quite annoying when you have all of the, the commercials and all of the polls and all of the media and the blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. A lot of you are like, man, I'm just ready to get past this time period. That information kind of gets buried, gets buried. you have NBC News for example, Steve Carnocki, who is interestingly enough tends to be objective, rather objective in his presentation of information and in terms of news goals. That's what I want. I don't want you to color stuff for me because you think you know what I believe. I just want, I want objective data. Give me the story, give me the full story. Let me make up my mind. That's what I want to be able to do. there are. The facts are that the environment creates vulnerabilities for incumbents. No doubt environments create vulnerabilities for people who have aligned themselves with President Trump. That's just the truth. That's the truth. But does that automatically mean that the environment is a slam dunk for those who oppose President Trump? And see, and that is what has to happen because largely speaking, the Democrat message during this electoral season has basically just been anti Trump. They haven't been affirmatively presenting a vision for America. They've just been saying all the things they think is wrong with President Trump. They haven't been saying that, well, this is what we need to do. All stuff is too expensive. Well, what's your plan to lower the price?
Beyond Anti-Trump Messaging: The Need for Positive Vision in Elections
Who cares about that? We don't need to know about that. Oh, we shouldn't have this war with Iran. Okay, well what would you do with a nuclear armed Iran? I, don't worry about that. You know, and I get it, that's politics. But with all of that noise, we don't get down to brass taxes. Well, interestingly enough, Steve Carnacki was providing what he described as NBC News final poll before the culmination of election season, which is tomorrow, and he said something that was quite interesting to me, which is why I'm presenting it to you with all of the polling. And I have an observation I want to make after I share this information with you of all of the polling. People are talking about candidate specific things in certain races, but they're not talking about the nation's perception of the major parties as a whole.
Party Favorability: Analyzing NBC News Polling Data and Unpopular Parties
And it's interesting when you dig into that a little bit. So I want to share a bit of this information about a 45 second clip during which Steve Carnegie does that very thing, right? And he's talking about party favorability as determined by M NBC News polling data. Listen to and watch clip number three. Clip three, go.
Steve Kornacki The hope the Republicans are drawing is this right here asking about how do you feel about the Democrats and the Republicans as parties Favorable, unfavorable Republicans are not popular, but this is about where they were back in 2018 in Trump's first midterm look at the Democrats. 29 favorable, 52 unfavorable. This is different from 2018. In 2018, the Democrats as a party had much better numbers than this. And that does raise a question. Voters out there who disapprove of Trump aren't happy about where the economy is inflation. Are they willing to take the next step and vote for Democrats, given how unpopular Democrats are as a party? Or does that keep the Democrats from fully capitalizing on what otherwise for them is a very promising political climate?
Abraham Hamilton III That's what I wanted you to hear and to see. With all of the information that has been circulating and been delivered and communicated, have you heard any data points that said that the majority of the American populace views the Democrat Party unfavorably?
Suppressing Turnout: The Strategic Use of Polling Data to Influence Elections
You don't hear that. Which brings me to the next observation I was going to tell you about. I want to make. I strongly believe a lot of the polls and the reporting and the stuff from the talking snake media has been promulgated for one purpose and one purpose only, to depress constitutionalists willing to participate in this election cycle. Because when you have a circumstance where the Republican Party is not popular with the American people and the Democrat Party is less popular, that's, that's what Steve Carnacki just showed you. According to the NBC News data, the Republican Party is not popular and the Democrat Party is less popular. So if that's the case, then how do you influence elections? Well, you try to affect turnout. And I believe a lot of the stuff that has been percolating has been disseminated for the express purpose of suppressing the turnout of people who would be willing to vote Republican. And so I'm sharing this with you because I just don't want you to fall for the gamut. You know, there are a lot of things that are going on in our country. There are a lot of things that are wrong. Here's the fundamental question.
The Fundamental Question: Voting Based on Core Beliefs Versus Political Tactics
Are they bad enough to cause you to vote for Sharia compliance, to vote for trans insanity, to vote for, foisting, sexuality deviations on five year olds, to vote for the abolition of the presidency and the US Senate? I mean the presidency and the Supreme Court, you know, is, is it, is it to the place where you vote for that? They know that's not the case. So what's their goal? And no, no, no, don't, don't look at any of that. Let's just look at. We hate Donald Trump, even though. News flash. Donald Trump is not on the ballot. I mean, his congressional agenda for the next two years, perhaps. But I'll ask you this question. How much of his, congressional agenda has been passed in the previous two years? And that's why it gets frustrating. It frustrates me. Like I see this stuff, I see the play happening all the time. I'm just like, man, that's cold blooded. There's so many things like President Trump, Trump could talk about employment, numbers, all kind of numbers. Would you never hear any of that stuff? Because I think it's a play to try to put a kibosh, if you will, on turnout. So I'm just saying you don't, don't fall for the play. Don't fall for the play.
The Nation's Need for Repentance: Examining Electoral Choices and Societal Decline
Now you've heard me say this all the time. And in many ways, man, politics is the externalization of what our fellow countrymen truly believe. When you get to brass, taxes and where we are as a nation, we did not get here overnight. We got here. As the, book of Proverbs says, sin grows as a man travels one foot in front of the other. And the greatest need that we have in our nation is the need for repentance. But there's so many things that are capturing our attention and diverting our focus and diverting our attention that we find ourselves misconstruing cause and effect. You know, if we have a wicked populace, how long do you expect a wicked populace to endure Godly leadership, if godly leadership is available? When Jesus, Jesus was up for election, so to speak, versus Barabbas, what did the people pick? We have a populace that in many ways our electoral choices reflects the core of our nation. And I've gone back and forth and this story isn't new with whether or not I wanted to share this foolishness, but this, this is an indication as to how far gone we are on. Of course, I know this is not ubiquitous in our country, it's not everybody, but this does give you a snapshot of just, just how bad things have gotten. So you, there is this, this and, and, and, and frankly, I can't even call this man a pastor. I know they represent themselves as a church.
A Shocking Announcement: Pastor Israel Ford's Polygynous Marriage Revelation
I know the people that attend here, some of them may be deceived. But you have this man. His name is Israel Ford. He represents himself as the pastor of a church in the Cleveland, Ohio area called LifeWorks. During what appears to be a corporate worship gathering, he and his wife, whose name is Lydia Ford, announced to their congregation that, this Mr. M. Israel Ford has a second wife and she has been his wife for three years. His second wife for three years. And I want you to hear, and honestly, I can't stomach it. So I'm not playing a whole Lot of this. I want you to hear the announcement, but I also want you to hear how the people respond to the announcement. Listen to and watch clip number two. Clip two, go.
Lydia Ford And I want to share that. You know, Prophet and I, you know, we are living even right now, in what we would call a polygynous marriage. My husband, our prophet, he has a second wife. Y' all know her, y' all love her. Y' all been benefit from her ministry every week. And so I just want to take this time and just, as a pleasure of mine, to introduce to y' all Prophet's wife and my sister in marriage, Minister Shakayla. Minister Shakayla.
Abraham Hamilton III All right, let's stop this nonsense. So. Cole, you stupid. It's worse than stupid. It's evil. It's evil. now this man has the audacity to call himself a pastor and to really try to sanitize his adultery. And did you hear the people clapping for this? And this is why I've long said, that when the Lord in His word, condemns false teaching. Yeah, you saw him standing up and clapping. Yeah, standing up and clapping.
Condemnation of False Teaching: Adultery, Deception, and Leadership Qualifications
That evil men. And people having itching ears will heap up for themselves false teachers telling them what they want to hear. They want to hear. Guys, that is evil. All throughout the scripture, from the very beginning, Genesis 1, Genesis 2. For this call shall a man leave his father and his mother be joined to his wife, and the, how many two shall become one. That's in Genesis. You have people who deviated from God's standard. Yet when Jesus is questioned about marriage in the NewSong Testament, he reiterates the biblical order for marriage articulated first in the book of Genesis. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and rejoin to his wife. And the two shall be called one flesh. Then you go on into First Timothy and into Paul's Epistle to Titus. The qualifications for leadership, eldership in the Lord's church, that it shall be the husband of one wife. Yet we got people who say they're attending church. They either have not read their Bibles, do not read their Bibles, or they have decided, oh, we have Revelation that supersedes what the scripture says. Twist. The Bible would say, oh, you may have doctrines, but that's doctrines of demons.
Prayer and Obedience: The Importance of Following God's Commands Amidst Violation
I'm presenting this to you guys because at the exact same time we're pondering electoral politics, we have people who have the audacity to represent themselves as people of God, a man of God who will blatantly violate God's instruction if they'll do that. What else do you think they'll blatantly violate? This is why I started where I started. That we must be on our knees in prayer. And as we pray, we get up and obey what God commands us.

What does faith have to do with voting, public policy, and the future of the country? In this episode, Abraham Hamilton III turns to 1 Timothy 2 to discuss prayer for leaders and Christian participation in civic life. He also covers the Michigan Cindy race, election polling, a fatal Florida plane crash, and the importance of biblical discernment.
